  1. The one thing I regret about last years draft is the lack of emphasis on a receiver. There were a lot of good ones in that draft. How good would Terry McLaurin or Mecole Hardman have looked opposite Brown? Then we could have focused on getting an edge guy now which I feel is a position that is much easier to implement into your system mid season.
  2. I'm sure they'll make it work. But if Bills made that trade I'd be livid.
  3. I think at this point of the season the only move that makes a lot of sense is an edge rusher. Don't have to teach him a lot of your scheme quickly. Just let him go. Not sure who is out there that fits the bill. Ngakoue is the pipe dream but I'm sure the Jags think they're still a playoff contender. Beasley may be worth a late pick. I liked Lorenzo Carter a lot in last years draft. Maybe the Giants are ready to move on from him?
  4. That's exactly why a talent like Green would help Allen. He's a guy who can just go get it and makes a ton of plays well defended.
  5. The comparison of Benjamin and Green is just off. Green is miles ahead in skill level and mentality. Green may actually be injured to the point he's not worth the risk. But my gut tells me he just doesn't want to risk further injury for a franchise going nowhere. It's up to the front office to do their homework. And they would have to make Green feel like if he performs he has a future as a Bill. If healthy he's worth a 3rd and more.
  6. Personally I don't think AJ is as injured as is let on. He's not gonna play for a hapless Bengals team in a contract year unless 100%. He's a top 5 receiver when right. And not a diva at all. Would fit perfectly. I'd absolutely trade a 3rd and the 5th and 6th we acquired for Bodine and Jones if the opportunity were there.
  7. Release him. Sign him to practice squad, ( he will clear waivers), for remainder of season to see if he can become a responsible individual There's some ability there.
  8. More ammo to make a trade for Trent Williams?
  9. A trade for AJ Green, Trent Williams, or Melvin Gordon would make me believe the front office thinks we are a contender right now. Unless something like that happens I will continue to believe they think we are a draft or 2 away.
  10. Would be an awesome first couple picks.
  11. Jonah Williams who is getting a bad rap. He's gonna be a 10 yr pro. Mike Edwards - Just a hunch here. Will be a very solid pro.
  12. Josh Allen. Think he's a double digit sack guy in year one.
  13. I kinda hate it. Could pick up a younger slot guy with better physical skills albeit less experience in 4th or 5th round. And Beasley feels like one of those guys whose production will plummet outside his comfort zone of Texas. Hope I'm wrong. Like the Brown signing , don't like this one.
  14. If Beckham jr is unhappy in NY I'm not sure why anyone would think he would be happy in Buffalo. He wants the west coast. Bills need to go find the next OBJ in this years draft. He was drafted in the 20's right? They're out there. Preferably without the attitude.
  15. An abundance of quality receivers in this years draft. Money is better spent elsewhere.
  16. Don't see how you can't respect what Gore's been about in the league. And if last year is any indication he does still have some in the tank. Don't see any downside to a vet minimum signing of him.
  17. Kid has talent. If he can stay healthy. Everyone clamoring for Jesse James would have been disappointed I feel. James can block but not really a pass catching threat. Frankly those guys can be found anywhere.
  18. I think there are some elite defenders in this draft so I would lean that way in the first. Of the guys who I think would be available at 9 I like Burns the best. Then spend most of the rest of picks building an OL and WR corps. Throw in a DT, RB CB and S and possibly even a punter. I would like first few rds to go something like below. 1/ Burns - Edge 2/ Risner - Cajuste- Lindstrom- Dillard - D Edwards whichever is left OL 3/4 Isabella - Campbell- Mclaurin-Hurd- Arcega use on some combination of these WRs After that take BPA focusing on OL, DT,S,RB,CB
  19. Only one way for a market like Buffalo to succeed. Through the draft. Management should have never sniffed around a guy like this, much like the TO situation. Focus should be on the draft. If you can sign an OL or 2 in free agency who doesn't care about the limelight even better. The talk of building a culture is ridiculed but it's of paramount importance to a franchise like Buffalo.
  20. Snell was a great college running back. Tough as nails and a leader. I'm not sure if he will be able to do the things professional teams ask of their backs today with regard to the passing game.
  21. As a UK fan I've seen a lot of Edwards. He's a playmaker and he's relentless. Think he will be a solid pro. Actually would like for the Bills to look at a couple of other UK kids. I think C.J. Conrad has a chance to be a nice tight end in the NFL. He was under utilized at UK. Also I think Bunchy Stallings would be a nice late round offensive line pick up. The corners from UK that are projected to be drafted I'm not as sure about. They all have good size but I'm not sure they can cover well enough.
  22. Trade down in first with Skins Round 1 Pick 15 (WASH): Williams, Jonah, OT/OG, Alabama (A) Round 2 Pick 8: Metcalf, DK, WR, Mississippi (A) Round 2 Pick 14 (WASH): Love, Julian, CB, Notre Dame (B) Round 3 Pick 10: Bradbury, Garrett, C, North Carolina State (B+) Round 4 Pick 10: Conrad, CJ, TE, Kentucky (A+) Round 4 Pick 29: Henderson, Darrell, RB, Memphis (A+) Round 5 Pick 9: Humphrey, Lil'Jordan, WR, Texas (A+) Round 5 Pick 15 (WASH): Wise, Daniel, DT, Kansas (A+) Round 5 Pick 20: Froholdt, Hjalte, OG, Arkansas (A+) Round 6 Pick 8: Smith, Sutton, DE, Northern Illinois (A+) Round 7 Pick 11: Johnson Jr, Lonnie, CB, Kentucky (A+) Round 7 Pick 14: Hardman, Mecole, WR, Georgia (A+)
  23. YOUR TEAM: BUFFALO BILLS GAME OVER! Your score is: 27446 (GRADE: B) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 11 (CINN): Allen, Josh, OLB, Kentucky (A) Round 2 Pick 11 (CINN): Harmon, Kelvin, WR, North Carolina State (A) Round 2 Pick 15 (WASH): Deiter, Michael, OG/OT, Wisconsin (B+) Round 3 Pick 8: Bradbury, Garrett, C, North Carolina State (B+) Round 3 Pick 14 (WASH): Conrad, CJ, TE, Kentucky (A+) Round 4 Pick 9: Wise, Daniel, DT, Kansas (A) Round 4 Pick 31: Tega Wanogho, Prince, OT, Auburn (A+) Round 5 Pick 4: Blackmon, Julian, CB, Utah (A+) Round 5 Pick 9: Jordan, Michael, OG, Ohio State (C) Round 6 Pick 9: Renfrow, Hunter, WR, Clemson (A+) Round 7 Pick 9: Jefferson, Cece, DE, Florida (A) Round 7 Pick 16: Williams, Aeris, RB, Mississippi State (A) Round 7 Pick 28: Kempt, Kyle, QB, Iowa State (A) That's a pretty neat mock draft site. Traded down a couple of times. Don't think I made the best of it however.
  24. Feel like Quinnen Williams might be a little overrated. Love Josh Allen from UK. Would love to get Jonah Williams. The versatility he brings is hard to come by. At 9 we probably get none of these anyway. I guess of the guys who will be there none of the WR seem worthy of that high a spot.
  25. 1. Josh Allen is the closest thing to Aaron Rodgers with his physical skills, competitiveness and mind we may see for quite some time. 2. If the Bills keep McDermott ( and Beane for that matter) in power this great talent will be wasted.
