I don’t see Hughes leaving, he is the only pass rusher they have. Cutting Tyrod and Glenn saves us 20, Mil ( if we cut Tyrod before his bonuses kick in). We already have 35 mil in cap space. With 55 mil we don’t cut Hughes. Unless you think you can get a better player for 5 mil, which I don’t see as realistic.

QBs have their draft stock fall through the season and rise as we get closer to the draft. I can only think of one QB who was talked about as a first round pick in January and then fell out of the first round (Claussen). At least 5 QBs will be off the board by the 21st pick. Rosen and Darnold are talked about as top guys, Allen will be seen by someone as Wentz 2.0 and Jackson will be seen by someone as Watson 2.0 and Mayfield will blow someone away with his hard work and production. So there is no way any of them are available at 21 unless some big shakeup happens with one of them.

Why is Mayfield compared to Johnny football? Mayfield is known for being an insanely hard worker, a walk on who became a 3 time Heisman finalist and 1 time winner, and he is a true leader loved by teammates and coaches. Johnny was despised by teammates, was lazy as heck and coasted by on talent. So where do the comparisons come from?
