  1. They talked about the QBs dissected them, but no one thought they would go top ten and most felt none even 1st round talent. So if you define that as drooling ok. But this year is different he draft will prove it when 4 go top ten and 5 probably go before EJ was picked.
  2. Perhaps at the owners meeting they’ll all make a handshake agreement to not overdraft a QB.
  3. So plan B means waiting until at least 2020 to get a QB. Sounds like a dirt poor plan.
  4. I want both, how interested are you in Blake Bortles
  5. What are you talking about, I think that we should trade our picks every year so that we own all the 6th round picks.
  6. No one bad game does not define a QB but it can confirm things you suspected. Peterman shows up to practice right? they get to see him throw the ball there, see him in film study. Throwing an interception every 6 minutes may confirm some things they suspected when scouting him and watching him every day in practice.
  7. Cure for cancer is found............ would be an amazing headline
  8. Let’s say the Bills rank players on a 100 point scale. Let’s say they have the top QBs rated as 93, 91,91, 87,87. They have to ask what is the lowest number they would accept, what is the highest they could get and then get one that falls between those two points.
  9. The challenge with this is that any data before 2011 is of limited use. That is the year the rookie wage scale came into being, before then your top 10 QB would also become one of the highest paid players in the league. It increased the risk of drafting a QB, you could end up spending 10% of your cap space on a QB who flunked out of the league 4 years before his guanteed contract ended. The rookie wage scale has made QBs more desirable as top draft picks, that is why we have seen more teams trading up into the top spots.
  10. I want him to plant a flag in Gillette stadium after beating Brady.
  11. But the odds of success change. The real question is would you rather trade up for a 50% chance of manning or pick up a 20% chance of Brees by waiting until a later pick.
  12. This analogy leaves out the ticking clock. You don’t get to stay at the table forever. Each try at a QB takes time and if Time runs out you lose just as badly as if you busted.
  13. Height is an overrated stat. Players who are short are simply given fewer chances and so there are few of them in existence. The ones who have played well enough to get drafted have not been hindered by their height.
  14. They are outliers. Those are low probability picks. What is bigger 30+20+15+10+1+1+0 or 80. On top of that you can’t draft 3 QBs and get them all sufficient reps and game time.
  15. Since the Rookie wage scale went into effect there have been 7 drafts. Here are the 1st round QBs starting from those 7. Newton, Luck, Tennahil(?), Winston, Mariota, Wentz' Goff, Mahomes, Watson. Which of those QBs should be benched to let their back up have a shot?
  16. So the question is, how many QBs who were drafted in the first round and never got hurt in their careers were benched, do I have that right?
  17. He didn't lose his job due to that injury.
  18. EJ Manuel, Johnny football, Paxton Lynch, RG3, Gabbert
  19. I'm sold, lets try out all the bag boys at Wegmans one of them is bound to be the next Kurt Warner.
