Since Kelly retired after the 96 season we have been looking for a QB, 2 first round picks, two traded first round picks, a handful of later round shots, and more journeymen than you can shake a stick at. And after all these years of failure we are looking at a Draft where we can get the highest rated prospect we have ever had. Those prospects, Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Mayfield, Jackson were 0,0, 6 months, 18 months and 0 the last time the Bills were not on the QB hunt.

Next year never comes. One way or another our choice of picking a QB will be between a QB or a bunch of picks, either because we trade up or have an opportunity to trade down. This year is as good as any to take a swing.

He set the records for completion % and YPA and then broke his own records. There is no one with his stats. His ball placment and accuracy was ahead of everyone’s at all levels of the field, under pressure and not, in and out of the pocket. That consistency is because of good mechanics. So yes he does drift towards pressure too often. But his accuracy is elite.

So they’d look at how often he threw a catchable ball to his team while in the pocket.

I think we should wait indefinitely to get a QB. Wait for a year that we can get an amazing prospect without giving up a high pick. Like wait until we can get an Andrew Luck in the second.

So if someone says a guy struggled completing passes from the pocket in college how should I prove or disprove that claim?

So how many years would it take to develop his vision so it’s no longer impaired. Like if he’s 20/100 how many years to develop his eyes to 20/20?

But if we develop him for a few years he’ll be great right?
