Being a 50 year season ticket holder I have seen the good, the bad, the ugly, the very good and the very bad. In the years after the Super Bowls and the team was mediocre, at best, I attended and watched the games with the high hopes of the Bills upsetting a good team or winning against other average teams. I always thought "on any given Sunday" the Bills would pull off the upset. Now that we are (supposedly ) one of the better teams each week has me thinking that the other team thinks like I used to think, unfortunately this year it is coming true for them too often, I am just so frustrated with the game day coaching, the poor play and the excuses. I realize our defense is decimated but they are doing a fairly good job but our so called high flying offense from past years is crazy bad, bar a few drives a GAME. Watching games today and seeing teams like the Pats, Jags ,Bengals and the Giants I can't help but wonder how the hello they got beat or almost beat by those teams. Dare I say it can only be coaching. That gives me little hope going forward. However, being the eternal optimist I have changed my expectations from expecting a win against inferior teams to, maybe the Bills can pull off a few upsets against good teams and play the bad or average teams close in spite of the coaching. GO BILLS THEY'RE KILLIN ME WHITEY, THEY'RE KILLIN ME

Section 135, 35 rows back and our group holds up our end of the deal, LOUD AND PROUD. Unfortunately when somebody sells, the selfies and those that can't hold their beer are sure to head for the bathroom during a play. Some go so often I wonder why they don't just stay in the tunnel and watch on TV. Save us all the trouble of having to move every couple of minutes. Perhaps an adult diaper.

Sitting in Lot 1 today Steve Tasker was with a couple of friends, After his visit he headed towards the Stadium. As he was walking away a young family stopped him and asked him if he would take a picture of them. They had no idea who he was, he took the picture and introduced himself to the young daughter with this classic line. " Hi my name is Steve, whats yours? Nice to meet you, Go Bills! Again I'm pretty sure they still have no idea who they asked to take their picture. Awesome.

Exactly my point. I could care less about famous people at a game,. Its all of us that make the NFL world go around and pay the freight. I know that in the last 44 years I have spent at least $100,000 going to and supporting the Bills, She wouldn't know a first down from from a sack.

Been to and paid for at least 400 Bills games in the last 44 years and I;m pretty sure she never paid for a ticket. God I hate what the NFL is becoming.

Fan dies in stands after fight at Patriots game
Stroke 17 replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course after kickoff no one settles in and watches the game anymore either.half the game is spent with people walking back and forth up and down the aisle to go on beer runs, bathroom breaks and such. The in person experience has moved for watching a football game to a party with a game in the background. Make sure to take those selfies too, gotta get the perfect shot for your Facebook. 48 YEARS A SEASON TICKET HOLDER AND IF I EVER GIVE IT UP THIS WOULD BE THE REASON(S). FREAKIN SELFIES, PEE BREAKS DURING PLAYS, CHECKING PHONES FOR FANTASY PLAYERS, GAWKING IN THE AISLE LOOKING FOR YOUR FRIEN OR SEAT THAT ISN'T EVEN IN THE SECTION....... I AM THE OLDER THE GUY WHO JUST WANTS TO WATCH THE GAME, CHEER FOR MY TEAM, DRINK A FEW BEERS, EAT SOME SNACKS AND ENJOY THE GROUP AROUND ME, BUT IT IS GETTING TO BE MORE OF A STATUS THING, YOU KNOW ,TAKE A PIC TO SHOW THE WORLD WHERE YOU AND YOUR DRUNK FRIENDS ARE PARTYING TODAY. STAND IN THE AISLE DURING A PLAY, FORGET WHERE YOUR SEATS ARE AND STAND AROUND IN THE AISLE INSISTING THE OTHER PEOPLE ARE IN THE WRONG SEATS. MY NUMBER 1 PET PEEVE IS THOSE THAT CAN'T HOLD THEIR BEER LONGER THN5 MINUTES, INSTEAD OF COMING BACK TO YOUR MIDDLE OF THE ROW SEAT JUST WATCH THE GAME IN THE TUNNEL ON THE TV AND IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT AT LEAST GO PISS DURING A TV TIMEOUT, THEY EVEN SHOW ON THE SCOREBOARD HOW LONG THE TIMEOUT WILL LAST. JUST HAVE A LITTLE RESPECT FOR US. BY THE WAY, SORRY FOR THE CAPS AND THE BOLD. TOO OLD AND DUMB TOFIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN IT OFF. GO BILLS -
I think Josh will improve, by that I mean he will be better but he will still do some crazy stuff but will not be Monday Night bad. This weeks national press coverage has knocked him down a bit. Nobody blowing smoke up his butt this week, telling him how great he is, nobody comparing him to Mahomes or any other top tier QB. The competitive juices in him will/should make him better. I think his focus will improve especially because he realizes he cost his team the game. I think things will get better but that schedule is brutal, he, the team and the coaches better figure it out. They're killen me Whitey, they're killin me. We can get it done, we can get it done what' more we gotta get it done!

First let me say I LOVE FOOTBALL! ,Specifically BILLS FOOTBALL but I am right there with you. They are losing my enthusiasm one brick at a time. I consider myself an old schooler( I guess I am 66) been season ticket holder since 1979 and have seen many changes and not all for the good. I go for the football, don't care about taking a selfie, don't care about the score board in the stadium dedicated to fantasy stats, did not get mad when they got rid of the cheerleaders. Just BILLS FOOTBALL for me. The call last night infuriated me because I had commented how the officials were letting them play, no ticky tack holding calls, no crappy pass interferences just the obvious off sides, delay of game and then at the most crucial time that call and I was done with it .....again. What is holding, what is PI, can I cheer or do I need to look for a flag, don't touch this QB ok to touch that one. Now that that is out of the way a few more reasons for my waning fandom. I am getting to old to try to figure out how I am going to watch a Bills game on a TV, or a computer or a phone or a DEVICE. I know the NFL needs to reach a younger fan base to grow the sport but damn man I been there forever and they could care less, seems like we older people are old news. One service for Thursdays, another for the Sunday Ticket, over the air broadcasts for others, all at extra charges. And finally my biggest peeve going back to the 4 Bills Super Bowls, The NFL boasts about season ticket holders being the backbone of their franchises, real fans paying with their real money for real seats in all kinds of weather and on top of that now a personal seas license. I can live with all of that but WHY then does the NFL crap on those same fans when it comes to the Super Bowl. Over inflated prices that the average fan can't afford, they seem to be able to get these tickets into the hands of ticket agents to really rip you off if you want to go but as we saw last night, so called "celebrities" had seats. I'm sure most of them didn't care who won or lost it was all about a selfie and being seen. I was at the Bills - Washington Super Bowl in Minnesota, decent seats but right there on the 50 yard line sat many so called celebrities and one of the was Stevie Wonder, I guess his view was better than mine, oh wait, never mind. Ok, I'm good, waiting for my 2023 invoice and my shot at my PSL's for the new stadium. You see, I am the reason the NFL treats us this way, because I am like a drug addict, I want to stop but when the pressure is on to renew I turn to my wife, make a snorting motion and say, "one more time" GO BILLLS! " The real fans know the regular season doesn’t matter as much any more. It’s all about what you do in the playoffs and McDermott is great at collapsing under pressure in every single one of his losses." It pains me to say this but I am starting to think of McDermott as the new Marty Chokenheimer. Back in the 90's I was sure that whatever team ole Marty was coaching they were doomed, say it aint so,Coach.

Awesome! My feelings exactly

Our Bills ended the season on a sad note Sunday. I felt like they died on Sunday and the funeral is today so I need to attend and deliver an Eulogy. Short and sweet, they gave me a fun ride, plenty of wins, couple of really sad losses,(Miami, Minnesota, especially Bengirls). I had higher hopes, the rest of Bills mafia and the team had higher hopes. We failed again. Dare I say, (Same old Bills!) 14 wins! I think not, had a great trip to Miami, trip to Detroit, unbillevable start to the Patriot game with the kick return and the stadium rocking, family and friends tailgating at 2 playoff games. My personal favorite was beating the Steelers and quieting all those who live in my town. Beating KC, Green Bay, and the Paties twice, I think that a pretty good season. the NFL is a 1 winner 31 disappointed fan bases, once again I am part of the 31. However, after not having QB since Jim Kelly I realize that we are not really dead, We are hurt, but we are not slain; On a personal note, been at this since I was 8 years old ( in 1964) back to Kemp, McDole Cookie, Fergy, O.J. Cribbs, Knox, Ringo, Flutie, Kelly , Bruce and now Josh ,too many to list and it always ends up short of the goal line. Got to go to 3 of the 4 Super Bowls, so close to the goal, wide right. I'm 66 now, 1 wife, 3 kids, 5 grandkids all suffering Bills fans because of me and my obsession. I am starting to realize I'm not getting any younger I just may not see the the Bills win a Super Bowl so I am starting to just enjoy the ride. when I started this I always felt I'd see the finish line. Not so much any more. 44 years a season ticket holder, missing only 2 home games in that time due to a death( my Dad)and a marriage, ( mine, plane delayed) now a new stadium on the horizon, Will they screw me when it comes time to re-locate? will they price me out,? do they even give a S**t? I also realize the current NFL is less about football and more about the MONEY. Fans are different, Bills games have become "the place to be" take a selfie " who really cares about winning? Maybe I'm that old guy now but I still love football, BUFFALO BILLS FOOTBILL. So many times after these terrible endings to a season I swear I am done, not renewing my seats, then they send the invoice and like a recovering coke addict I look at my wife and reluctantly say, "one more hit' and here it is going on 45, 45 freakin years of this addiction. Thanks for letting me get this out there, I feel like I have confessed and am now at peace, until next September. GO BILLS! THEY'RE KILLIN ME WHITEY, THEY'RE KILLIN ME!

Those 4 years were just the beginning. So many heartbreaking losses in the last 30. Funny thing, in the Chuck Knox years with Fergy and Cribbs we made the playoffs, tore down goalposts, partied loke there was no tomorrow but the playoff losses didn't hurt so much. After those 2-14 seasons just having a winning season was a hell of a ride.

LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE GONE TO 3 OF THE 4 SUPER BOWLS. WATCHED THE FIRST ONE AT A WHAT I THINK WAS A RADISSON HOTEL SOMEWHERE OUT BY THE AIRPORT. Bills lose and I wasn't the same for weeks. Next year was in Minnesota, Bills lose but he hurt was a bit easier as I was there and enjoyed the experience. My kids stayed with grandparents and were upset with the result, Next year off to Pasadena, kids with grandparents again. Bills lose again, bad and sad. Got back home 2 days later mother-in-law tells me the girls didn't want to go to school because their friends would pick on them about the Bills. (all Steelers fans in this area). Tried to make a change and explain its just a game, fun to root for a team. Enjoy the ride. 30 tears later and Bills inventing ways to lose games our happy Bills family still starved for that Super Bowl. Over the years I have apologized to them for the seasons of suffering.....but we are all in and now I have 5 grandkids all over the east coast proudly wearing their Bills colors. I am worried about their fandom futures but also so proud of all of them for keeping up the hope. 11 of the 13 of us will be in town on Sunday at the game. Its a family affair. GO BILLS!

You my friend are not an original season ticket holder. Your Dad is.

Anybody with some inside knowledge know if the Bills would be home or away team if it goes to Atlanta? Obviously hoping Bills and Jax win so we can be at home and I wont have to worry about trip to Atlanta.

" 😁 hopefully a STH that won't be going can hook me up with the presale code when we get to that point!!" Hopefully they can come up with a better way than a shareable presale code. It is how all the tix end up in the hands of brokers. The last thing season ticket holders should do is give out the code to others. People that do that just screw the other STH that are waiting in the Que. Talked to my rep this morning, said the NFL is working with Bills and Chiefs on how to proceed. STH that signed up for the "pay as we play " option will have 1st priority. She is not sure if seniority will count which in my opinion is bull***T. After 44 years my time should count for something. Hoping the Bills take care of their business and the Chiefs go down and we can all be home for the Championship. As one who has been to the Championship games in the 90's and 3 of the 4 Super Bowls I can assure you the Championship Game win is the greatest fan experience you will ever have as a Bills fan. Consider the stadium when Hines ran back the opening kick last week, now times that by 10. (I got goosebumps typing that) Go Bills (and I don't mean to Atlanta) THEY'RE KILLIN ME WHITEY, THEY'RE KILLIN ME!

1/2/23 Week 17 Gameday Bills @ Bengals Pregame Thread
Stroke 17 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
One of, if not the most important games of the last 20 years and I am a physical wreck. Tom Petty said it best, "the waiting is the hardest part." After watching multiple games yesterday I am stoked for tonight but I am not prepared for a loss. I want that homefield, not just for the Bills but for all of the young Bills fans who have not experienced the craziness of a Championship game in Buffalo. It would be a shame for the Bills to have the top seed for so many weeks only to give it up on the 17th week. So please Bills don't be the Bills of old and find some crazy way to screw this up. THEY'RE KILLIN ME WHITEY, THEY'RE KILLIN ME! GO BILLS! -

The one and only day in my life I was glad the Steelers won. Made my Dad's Christmas.

Yes, I have my regular seasons for the playoffs. Was hoping to get a couple more for my kids to experience playoff football. Guess I will have to find a scalper to flleece me of course, ther is no difference between a street scalper and ticketmaster. I thinkTicketmasterl holds tickets, puts them up for resale charges higher fees and makes a profit. Screw the NFL and Ticketmaster for taking advantage of the fan.

Funny you should mention my Rep. A few weeks ago I filled out the Survey that the Bills sent to me, in that survey I was asked about how many times in a season or during the offseason my rep contacts me. My answer was NONE. I thought that was odd, the question suggests that reps do contact other season ticket holders. As i said I have been at this for 44 years and have missed just 2 home games in that span and it is 3 hr trip each way. By the way, my playoff tickets are charged to my account. I was hoping to get my kids to experience playoff football. Where are the scalpers looking to fleece me. Never mind thats what Ticketmaster is for.
