Initial reaction was wow those are some of the worst uniforms in the league. After looking at them more they are really sharp. I think the yellow pants and all the lightning bolts caught me off guard at first.

If you took away the shoulder stripes and paired blue jerseys with white pants they would actually be real nice. Nice and clean. As is though they are pretty ugly, but better than what they had before I guess.

I would definitely do it for our third. We still need more talent on offense. Only hesitation is that next year the draft is supposed to be loaded with good TEs. Also, the timing will be better as I fully expect Kroft to be gone after this year. Bringing in Howard now would leave us with a pretty crowded TE room. 8mm a year for a pretty average back? No thanks. Mid rd pick at min salary is a much better option. Honestly the best thing to do at RB is to take one in rds 3-4 every couple years and never sign or resign one ever. Even when a back turns out to be elite, that rarely lasts more than a couple years, so many recent examples of this.

We already have three Clay Mathews in Murphy Hughes and Maddison. He is exactly what we don't need. Another veteran, somewhat washed up, somewhat still productive DE. Not a bad thing to have but we have enough of them. We need some youth at the position. I'm all for taking one in Rd 2. Young guy with potential is what we need.
