Disagree that it's a must win even for the 1 seed. Our schedule at the moment looks so easy that even if we go 2-2 vs KC Cin Bal Phi, it's not unrealistic to think we can still finish 14-3. Bal and KC have much tougher schedules.

Assuming we stay relatively healthy, there really is no excuse for not getting the 1 seed with this schedule. Everything is set up perfectly.

Man if we beat the Ravens week 1 we can really start to pull away in the race for the 1 seed. They have a much tougher early schedule.

Decent matchups but don't really get Dal Det and KC all playing both Xmas and Thanksgiving?

Definitely a good chance that that game is meaningless for at least one of Buffalo or Philly

That was an epic collapse by Cleveland last night. Not just blowing a 7 point lead late but the way they did it, giving up two offensive rebounds off missed free throws and two turnovers, was really extraordinary.

It's obviously the team that has knocked us out of the playoffs 4 times. The fear of the Ravens on here is so irrational. Sure they are good on paper. But there is a giant mental hurdle we need to get over vs KC.

Interesting that he brings up NE and how they won without elite WRs. Beane simply doesn't value WRs as much as other do when team building. It's nothing new or surprising, and something we just need to learn to accept. To be honest it's a fine strategy and one I've become more comfortable with....if the trade off is an elite defense that shows up in the playoffs. When you have a defense that falls apart when it matters and a lack of playmakers on offense, well the result is zero Superbowls. Hopefully all these additions on defense pays off.
