I don't know how much stock i'd put into the idea that he would only leave sunny California for snowy buffalo if he was promised playing time. He's going to be here two months max, as one last hoorah. It's not like he's committing to being here for 5 years. It will be interesting to see what they do at S next year. Can Rapp and Cole play alongside each other, or do they both strictly play the same spot? Because Rapp is already under contract and has shown to be more than an adequate starter. Ideally Cole can play alongside him and we are all set at both safety spots going into the offseason.

To me the big difference is the defense looks no where near as good as last year. A dominant defense is how they won the Superbowl. Mahomes and the offense will play better in the playoffs but if the defense isn't playing at an elite level like they were last season it won't be enough. The Bills, when healthy, are too good.

The browns will absolutely be a tough game for them. They just won by a combined 5 points vs 2 of the 3 worst teams in the league. They chiefs can lose to anyone.

I don't care that the Chiefs looked bad last year and won the Superbowl, if we are healthy when we play them in the playoffs this year the game will not be close.
