  1. The amount of injuries in this game for both games is crazy
  2. This is the pre season I'm used to
  3. Agree. Dont think it will happen though, as I think they will work well together
  4. Gotta imagine he has a place on the team right now. I mean if you wanted to sneak him onto the practice squad you'd avoid an interview like this right?
  5. Just recently watched an interview on ESPN with an mls player and asked him why more soccer players don't become kickers in the NFL. The reasoning was that its a lot different, also mentioned all think about it and try it out but find it difficult
  6. As optimistic as I am about this coming season I can't get over one thing, the bills haven't absolutely crushed my soul in a few years.
  7. 23-0 is the goal 21 more to go
  8. Right now you have to keep Johnson. Playing too well not to. Plus he played linebacker in college and could be a back up to Alexander
  9. The biggest thing for me is the bills playing speed, it's been on a different level than both of their opponents thus far. I'm starting to believe its because the team is good rather than just playing harder than its opponents. It could be as much as this bills team is deep at a lot of positions especially on defense and that is creating competition thus faster harder playing
  10. Now that is a memory, thought Edwards was the real deal after that game. But right now with them now looking solid in back to back weeks I feel like Ricky Bobby in Talladega nights not knowing what to do with my hands in an interview
  11. What about practice squad player non protected ? Or is it automatically protected if he is on the practice squad? Considering he is in his late 20s it would be beneficial for him not to be protected if a team wants to give him a shot
  12. Can we put him on the actual practice squad or does it have be an exempt player or on the team?
  13. Honest question to all saying preseason doesn't matter, for say the last 19 years have the bills ever looked good in preseason? Or has it always been average to below average? Because id say for once the bills look good and I have no clue what it means
  14. That is true. How far the browns have come Daboll if he has a strong season will get interviews for sure from there who knows. Offensive guys are all the rage Also I could definitely see frazier get hired somewhere. Sadly he'd probably be that teams second option but could see him get another shot How close is frazier to the "hey I'm happy being a DC but this team would pay me x amount more dollars, can you up my pay by a million or 2?" Point in life. I got to imagine fairly close especially if the bills continue to turn it around and challenge for titles
  15. Never say a coach wont get a head coach opportunity. I mean who thought mike pettine would be hired away?
  16. Murray has talent/skill but right now is over his head The cards look terrible, like scary bad
  17. Agreed the sad body language to me would be more trade, if injured why not go in for treatment Hypothetical the guy chose to play in buffalo after being able to choose where he wanted to play and after four months gets gets traded to a team he had no say in, that would kinda suck in his situation
  18. Say if they pulled a player out of practice for pre cautionary reasons plus players do hear things Always gossip at the work place
  19. Shaq is a pretty happy go lucky guy, I wouldn't read too much into his interview
  20. Didn't stevie Johnson recently post something like this recently (a rumor) only to come back an hour later to say he made it up? But Stevie does train athletes/football players so probably has a few sources.
  21. I also read on twitter that the fins and texans agreed to a deal but clowney wouldnt sign his tender to play there
  22. I agree that Houston should be gearing up to go all in, not trading one of their best players, honestly id give up a 1st if it was conditional for clowney (playoffs or resign) But going back to the comparison Houston's offensive line is garbage and that will hold them back from reaching their potential because the skill positions are top notch. This also drops them down closer to bills. (As will not having clowney on defense) As for coaching I dislike O'Brien and think he is headed for an implosion always seems to be on the hot seat every year and now has no GM to blame. Also he hasnt proven anything McDermott hasn't, can't pretend contending for a playoff spot in that division is anything special Houston is where the bills are headed except they are a half to a whole season ahead in re building. I happen to think the bills close that gap this year
  23. In my opinion who is better between Houston and buffalo is very much debatable. At face value I had the initial thought that you did to that comment. My assessment of the 2 teams: Better offense is Houston Better defense is Buffalo Better coaching is Buffalo Better chance of team imploding/quoting on the coaches Houston Both teams are similar, I mean last years game came down to a Peterman pick 6
  24. I was reading one of carolinas reporters twitter and he went out of the way to respond to a fan that said carolina was dominating buffalo in every phase; that what he posts is all the good stuff because thats what fans mostly want to see My observation between reading buffalo reports and carolina reports was it ended up being fairly even.
  25. Another thing to remember is if we do trade for him we could potentially recoup any picks we use to get him by franchising him and trading him ourselves next off season
