Pure talent I'd say yes, but I don't think production wise they will be. New England has never been a team that has a prolific offense always been methodical and very productive, always spreading the wealth out to even the 6th and 7th wr or 3rd te, 4th rb etc. I also don't think they will last and don't mesh well together at all

The bills going 4-0 in preseason I think is more impressive because it never looked like they really game planned. Just kind of looked like they went out worked on certain schemes each game and ended up winning

The best part of 4-0 in pre season was the way the entire team on the sidelines celebrated. That has the markings of a special team, think the way the 05-06 sabres played and the way the city rallied behind them. Just a bunch of guys who loved playing the game

Not sure I understand the move by Miami as they're rebuilding and appear to be tanking Also while a very good player I don't think clowney is a player you build your team around. I see clowney as a finisher or a guy that puts a team over the top or even just into the playoffs

Idea is that the bills couldn't come to an agreement on a deal and to illustrate that the trade cost would be/could be made up by moving him ourselves, so the true cost is very little or even we could make out on the deal In an ideal world they would sign a long term deal and solidify the defensive end position for the next few years But for now we are just talking hypotheticals

In my scenario the bills would tag him after the season, holding his rights and do what the texans should have done by trading him before the deadline to sign his franchise tag. Thus allowing a team to sign him long term

What ever a team trades for clowney they will be able to flip him next off season if they dont want to sign him long term. I'm really interested in clowney because of this reason, right now it sounds as if youd be getting clowney cheap. If thats the case we can then flip him after the season for more plus get an upgrade at defensive end for this coming season. Soumds like a win to me Ie. if we trade a 2nd for him today, we could definitely get a 2nd plus at the end of the season when teams can actually sign him long term
