  1. I think Lynn saw what the ravens did this past season and thinks he can do that with tyrod.
  2. I have to imagine the texans wanted no part in trading him to another afc team
  3. Aren't most signings done by fax machines or scan and email signed agreements?
  4. Any chance this reported interest is a game to get Phillips to sign before free agency? But I am gonna guess with the bills having a lot of cap room agents are gonna drop the bills name often to get higher offers from other teams
  5. Like the move, good depth signing Still would like to re sign Kevin Johnson as i thought he did well in the slot backing up taron Johnson as well as outside Norman is possibly our number 2 outside CB or number 3 outside CB. To be able to run white Wallace T. Johnson K. Johnson and Norman would be a great
  6. A lot of good choices, I would say Conklin Cooper and ngakoe Perriman would be included in my choices but I just can't imagine him getting a big enough contract where a team can't get out of it for under performance within a year or 2. But I could see someone over paying due to a few big games and his draft status
  7. Could be a decent back up option if every thing else falls through. Could be useful in situational football
  8. I wouldn't be shocked to see him back. But it does depend on what he wants in his next contract. Now a days nfl contracts are all about guaranteed money, in my opinion the bills guaranteed money on the contract offer will be similar to anything other teams offer.
  9. I'm sure he will be at a training camp somewhere. Him being in buffalo the past couple could be seen as both a positive and a negative Positive: he knows the players and the coaching staff as well as the offense Negative: the bills have cut him a few times already and may look for a clean slate
  10. Right now today it is use it or lose it. That is until a new cba is signed that includes roll over We will need another rb so some of that cap will go towards that
  11. The more I think about the more I am fine with it. What I imagine the bills would like is a long term deal sub 10 million, phillips I imagine wants 12 plus long term The bills have the next 2 years to go all in before having to figure out a ton of expiring rookie deals, if they believe Phillips is perfect for the team and settles the DT position. They might be fine over paying a few million for one season, see if harry returns healthy and re set next off season Also in my opinion the bills negotiating position strengthens when he tests the market. As I believe the bills guarenteed money portion of any contract they offer will be very competitive with offers he gets from other teams
  12. I'd rather bring back Wallace and Johnson but if Norman wanted a 1 year 1 million deal and try to make the roster even as a 5th corner I'm all for it. But something tells me that's not something Norman is interested in at the moment
  13. David Johnson would be another guy that would fit in the category of being on the verge of washed up but would be a great depth add to a young and up coming team The bills are in a unique situation where they have a ton a cap space and can really load up on aging vets as depth players to make a run
  14. I don't see the big deal about the tweet, saying he has a greater chance of being on the practice squad again than on a nfl roster, is true. Its also true of every current practice squad player How many practice squad players end up as key contributors?
  15. Wouldn't hate it. I imagine it would be a one year deal and probably in a reserve role. Think this would help Knox and Sweeny as well as Josh.
  16. They both play QB, they don't actually play head to head. The bills defense and the jets defense are the ones that would need the killer instinct Allens friendship with darnold shouldn't stop his killer instinct when playing the jets defense, if it does its not a friendship issue. Its a josh allen issue
  17. Do they still do this super bowl Sunday? When I was a kid that was my super bowl Sunday routine. Watch all the super bowl high lights (20 years ago or so)
  18. Those 3 west coast teams might fill the prime time games for buffalo. One Thursday night, one Monday night. Solves the game start issue with west coast teams and avoids multiple 4pm home starts
  19. There is hazing, and then there is hazing. Huge difference from making a freshman serve dinner to upper classmen or picking the worst Halloween costumes for them to wear and what is alleged here At the end of the day someone needs to know how to read a room
  20. The interaction actually makes me think he knows he isnt getting top 3 money but is gonna test the market
  21. In my opinion McDermott severely out coached bill o brian last week And McDermott didn't have a good coaching game
  22. This is what I never understood about the browns interviewing daboll, he failed miserably there and the fans were happy to see him go It would be a very browns thing to do
