The way fans/media talk about the steelers it kinda reminds me of the sabres president trophy season in 06-07, a really good team but flawed. Its like people see through it even though they're really good Don't know if what I wrote makes any sense to anyone other than me lol

The cap is going to be stagnant or even drop, guys will not be getting contracts they feel they should in a normal year. Many of them will take short term deals to get back into the free agent pool again quickly For example take a look at the nhl and how their free agency went The strange thing is Darryl williams may be that guy for us

I think Williams is a guy that you could let go and then sign another player that needs to sign a 'prove it deal' All assuming he prices himself out of what the bills cap will allow. You can sell a free agent that you come here for a little cheaper, make you look like an all pro and then you can make bank the following year Its gonna be a weird off season where players are gonna want to play here

I think it not being a normal Sunday 1pm game helps keep it from being a trap game Almost forces them to focus because the game is being played Saturday

If the pegulas want a new stadium it could come quick, one of the biggest issues in building a stadium or arena is % of public money invested Needless to say in todays landscape there will be no to very little public money available With little public investment its all private funds and theoretically less hoops to jump through

Someone on this board earlier in the week called the play for Bates, they mentioned that the bills were setting it up for the past couple games. So while bates may not have sold the block well enough, you also go the other way and say the 49ers were well prepared for it

The chiefs game was the last full game of BAD bills defense, the next was ugly first half against the jets but when the second half began the play calling the pressure everything seemed different From that point the bills defense has been on an upward trajectory

Gotta give the 49ers credit, they are a confident bunch They were handed an absolute beat down and most of the quotes coming from them sound like they were 1 or 2 plays away from blowing the bills out
