What is the best game a rookie or young inexperienced QB has put up against a McDermott coached defense? I can't think of one, every qb that plays good against this defense has been a veteran (besides mahomes)

Neal as the 3rd linebacker or even 4th linebacker More 3-4 looks is something I see coming

I think Neal might finally get to play that safety linebacker hybrid McDermott has wanted on this defense

The answer could he very simple why McKenzie got benched The coaches think Stevenson is better. It was the first game he was available to play and he instantly got the call to play

Tre white missing is huge in this one Think the bills defense will morph into one that won't do as well against rookie /young qbs but will do better against vets Mostly because I think the bills will blitz and rush extra pass rushers

Huge loss, but the scheme the bills play should help ease the loss Dane Jackson and cam lewis are both capable. I imagine there is a veteran out there that could be signed as well

Never did I say that it didnt return results because McKenzie is very dangerous as a return man, but what I described is what I see when he is back there But I personally wouldn't have him back there and would much rather have a guy that is a bit more simplistic for this current team(give me chris Watson baby). I don't want to give opposing teams chances at big plays on special teams. How many times has mckenzie refused to fair catch it this year because he can dance? If its more than zero its too many The risk vs reward for this current bills team isn't worth it. The bills are no longer in a position where the keys to the game are "hope the defense keeps it close and hit a big play"

Yes The style difference in returner is what makes me feel more calm Stevenson is catch the ball and go Mckenzie is dance while catching the ball, dance for a second more, turn his back to the oncoming traffic, dance again and now go It was one muff in his first game where he didn't even seem to panic when it happened. (Which could be very well have just been because of a lucky bounce)

I wish they would fake it then after the time out bring the offense back out and just take the delay of game

Yeah thats whats weird to me. It hasnt shaken me at all. I think its because McKenzie is so jittery so I like the more catch ball run aspect more

My theory is this team isn't interested in a regular season game, they want playoffs Players get this high of how intense a championship game is and thats all they want. Soon it becomes difficult to get up for a 1-8 team mid season. Its why its so hard to stay at the top and come back after losing and go far in consecutive years

Today I feel the players didn't give the coaches the opportunity to screw game day decisions Ive never liked McDermott's in game coaching, but he has steadily improved each year with it until this season where he has stagnated so far when compared to last season

The team needs to re learn to play each game with intensity and play like they care about a regular season game The team plays like they don't care, they continue to say the right things but the games say something completely different
