  1. Crazy things happen. Just a few years ago Tampa bay or Washington needed 8 games go there way in week 17 and got in. If you want playoff talk just keep winning, if we somehow get to 7-7 we will be squarely in the playoff picture
  2. Not a fan of the cover one post here. Seems a little bit finding a play to fit a narrative. (Directed at cover one not you) The post by tabbot on that play I yelled at the tv to never let that bum on the field again ha Benjamin in my opinion shouldn't even be activated on game days especially if they want to go young. I wonder if they are worried he would become a bigger distraction if they deactivated him?
  3. Wrong Josh Allen will average 350 yards
  4. Its the new format espn has taken to power rankings. They list teams in the order they feel but instead of doing a summary write up they have been providing a stat or highlighting a player
  5. Maybe they bring back humber with milano in concussion protocol
  6. I think you start josh Allen if he is 100% healthy. Meaning he was a full practice participatant all week, none of the didn't participate or limited bs.
  7. I believe he has said his dream job is an nfl gm job. It was on one of those get to know the bills, that the bills social media puts out. If he wants to continue to play he needs to get on a practice squad and go from there. He is a second year 5th rounder who has had multiple starts already someone is going to be intrigued
  8. In my opinion the bye week makes this a tough question. If the bills had a game this Sunday id say ride the hot hand in Barkley and let Allen continue to heal. What i like about this is that the rest of the season can be Allen's "second season" or a season reboot. He was never supposed to come in and play as early as he did. He now has had the opportunity to watch and learn. Take the 2 weeks prepare like its a season opener, see where he is at
  9. Qb1-Allen Qb2-Barkley IR-Anderson PS-Peterman
  10. Exactly. Barkley just did what you want a back up to do. Perform well enough to win. Lets not pretend that a few of his passes were dropped ints or that he floated a few well over the heads of his wr's over the middle of the field
  11. when they show him during games he is always taking notes. Hopefully he has learned from something
  12. 323 yards 3 tds 1 int The bills have found their franchise qb in the most unlikely way
  13. Yeah, no reason to keep him on the team if allen is close with anderson and barkley ahead of him. I'm guessing plain cut. Doubt he gets placed on the praxtice squad
  14. This is why I'd like to see the bills run a hurry up at least at home. This is how a lot of college teams run the offense now. You don't snap the ball early but you're lined up ready to go Get lined up as quick as possible, have a coach help Allen/peterman initially read the defense.
  15. I really do believe this regime is thinking long term. I expect them to target one maybe two high priced free agents and roll a decent amount of cap space over to the following year.
  16. I think McDermott's job comes into question if the defense gives up and stops playing for him.
  17. The bills building defense first does actually make sense in that McDermott is building what he knows first. Getting the defense set so he can focus on offense next. Now to have completely neglect/tear down the offense like they have is a different story
  18. In other news brian Hoyer will start for the patriots if tom Brady is injured
  19. I hope more fans focus the hate/frustration on the people that put us in a situation to have to play Peterman. Its not his fault he isn't an nfl qb. Its the coaches its the scouts its the gm, they put us in this situation.
  20. If you want complain about how McDermott handled peterman it starts and ends with forcing him to start before he was anywhere near ready to play nfl football. Nate should have been a practice squad guy for his first season and a back up this season. No where did he ever show he was ready
  21. It doesn't make sense but Pryor has signed a couple large contracts thus probably making Rosenhaus a nice chuck of change, so he might feel compelled to come himself. not to mention he is probably the agent of a few players playing last night, always good to meet face to face and check in. Its plausible
  22. I could see new Orleans trading for a guy like Benjamin. I think Benjamin will have value to teams that want a big red zone target and tossing a 7th for Benjamin is worth the risk
