Well I agree on Dougie - but that was an entirely different situation - we didn't trade him. I too wish TT well - he certainly did everything in the locker room and off the field over and above most of the characters we have had here. Sadly it didn't translate to the football field when it mattered most.

Overall I don't think Beane will get judged on singular moves but rather his body of work - now if Taylor takes the Browns to the SB and wins? That some serious egg on face - but honestly - no one here is going to give that thought, of winning a SB, any consideration at all....certainly not me.

I totally get what you are saying but you are not understanding what everyone else is saying or you choose not too. Overpaying consistently for people lands you in cap hell. Yeah the Eagles were lucky to win that SB, but thats the exception rather than the norm. When was the last time the cheatriots were in Cap Hell......how many shiny silver things do they have. Bottom line, yeah individually it really doesn't make a difference but a million here a million there and all of a sudden you have to start cutting good players and then the slide starts......
