I do not agree with that....not at all. EVERYONE would be throwing for 400 and 4 td's every sundee. Nope - we are seeing a lot of decent performances grouped together that skews the curve making some think we have a million good QB's. At the end of the season time will tell us that there are only a handful of top tier passers in this league....

I actually got interviewed at the Distillery in Rochester NY by R News when the pick was announced. I liked it then and I REALLY like it now. There were a few missteps along the way, no one is perfect ya know. There are going to be some absolutely head banging moments in the future too. Again - no one is perfect. Thanks OP for a nice thread and it is good to see how many people are coming around and admitting that the kid is something special. He is gonna have a tough row to hoe these next few weeks so I am expecting some teeth gnashing and expletive's and a few folks hopping off the wagon on this board but overall, I think the Bills have an answer at QB for the next few seasons.

Will be interesting to see what happens if the Bills really and truly do lose DaBoll.....right now I am 50/50 about him leaving. Last week I woulda loved to have seen him gone after trying to run JA into the ground. This week salved that wound. I suppose it will be the ole ya didn't realize what ya had when ya had it if he does go. Like I said - 50/50.

Best comment so far and I am only 1 page into this is this one....... I’ve gotten bashed by many people for saying Allen is better but he just flat-out is. It’s really hard to defend a QB with Allen’s type of skills. Its not just the running, it’s his escapability. He can make blitzers miss with ease and it’s infuriating. Then he can throw a ball on a rope to the sideline, AFTER the receiver made his cut. You shouldn’t be able to do that. That’s supposed to be a recipe for being intercepted. But his arm is so damn strong he can do it. Yeah, the fumbles suck, but the pro’s outweigh the cons. I’d trade Darnold for Allen any day of the week ... though Buffalo’s GM would probably laugh at the offer. Sam is just so damn “average” at everything. He has no one legit dominant skill. Boring as all get out. Like white rice. Bottom line??? Bills have a BETTER QB than most posters here know........
