  1. One begets the other....the classic Chicken and Egg conundrum.
  2. Houston? We have lift off!!! Would be cool if the Chargers came out wearing the ole blue uni's they had a long time ago.....they were sweet.
  3. I feel like I can insert several team names into this sentence and still get the same chuckle I got when I read this - hell I didn't even make it past that and I replied to this.....some funeee stuff there.....good opinion!!
  4. Yeah I tried searching it but behind a paywall. Anyways it appears he done screwed up..... Looks like it cost him 6 months maybe? Not that much but not that little either as it stays with him forever.....
  5. Wow I missed that....too bad as i was a huge Biscuit fan too......sad.
  6. I admit - I had hoped for better things.....more time on IR than on the field and when on the field? Well pretty much except for 1-2 plays it hasn't been memorable. I do like your thinking tho but PRAY it doesn't happen!!!!
  7. That was very cool - dang Ima gitting old. As a huge LAX fan it was nice to see Johnny T in that vid. That guy and I threw back many a shot to tequila back in the day!
  8. I just like the cut Norman part - that guy, IMHO, has worn out his welcome as far as I am concerned.......
  9. Yes, yes you do......does it need to be probed???? Methinks not
  10. I was under the impression he opted out due to Covid??
  11. Agree with your question and observation. If it were me and I was on #5, 6, or 7 - that would give me pause. The evidence is already out there that things are only going to get worse not better if yet another concussion occurs. Perhaps Sean is aware of this and the discussion has already been had - who knows? Really, it isn't our business. Last thing I would want to read is some evil story of some evil crap that happened due to some CTE garbage. I would rather see him walk away and enjoy what little time he has left on this rock before crazy time sets in......I mean how many hits before he looks like Dobler does now? If you haven't see a recent picture of him I suggest you avoid looking cuz it ain't pretty.
  12. And the Bills ARE missing that player - sux to say it but they are missing that player HUGE. Points, that what Daboll wants - POINTS!!! Put him in as a TE with the "5" spread!
  13. THAT would make my night!!!!
  14. That they do not.....THAT makes a huge difference.
  15. I was there.....I had seasons from 1987 thru 2006, that was my second to last game as a season tix holder. Went to many more games after that.....
  16. ^**^ Agree 110%
  17. THAT is a wild stat.....Chargers I believe are one of 2 teams I only saw once at The Ralph in my 24 years of season tixs......Hmmm - age has not smiled kindly upon my diminishing brain pan......It was the Ravens I have only seen once......
  18. Huge hockey fan here - a disclaimer here, I grew up in Philly and watched the Flyers win the cup against the Sabres. One key takeaway I have from this post is the players HAVE gotten huge. Back in the day when Lindros played (90's) he was an anomaly. Huge Fast guy.....now it is a league of huge guys AND fast guys. So time and space has drastically been reduced. Would be super cool if the sheet of ice were international size to give more room to create better plays. I disagree on your view of the goalies however. Since the Sabres haven't had a decent netminder in many years now it is easy to fall into that trap. I know as the Flyers went many many many years before they hit big on their current goalie. I see saves from him that would be goals from any of the cast of clowns they trotted out there for seemingly years on end. Having had season tix to the Bills starting in 1987 for 25 years and attending games sporadically after giving them up I am mixed as to which era was/is better. There are good things from both eras. Players today are just absolute freaks of nature and in that respect interesting to watch. QB's are coddled too much but that is a byproduct of what the NFL has morphed into. Sure there were players who seemed to play for longer careers but I think the physicality of today's game has shortened careers with the knowledge of brain injuries as we know understand them. Baseball has always been meh to me. Basketball - the only basketball I will watch is college ball. So I can not comment on them. I like the comment about Nostalgia being a drug! So true....
  19. Yeah HOW did he do that????
  20. Great article......made me think of those "Voice of the Game" articles on The Players Tribune. Glad to see/hear he is stabilizing. Kinda understand a bit more as to why he was getting those BAT SHEET crazy Unsportsmanlike penalties he was picking up with regularity year in and year out. Nice to meet ya Gary - now go take off some QB heads will ya! 😈
  21. I agree 110%......damn that Norman character.
  22. I knew they lost when I saw that Josh Norman tested positive and took down 3 players with him........that screwed things up mightily.
  23. Maybe Big Ed can tie Norman's sad sorry butt to the horse and we can watch it ride into the sunset for good.
