I love how the drivers turns on their wipers...like really? What's that gonna do?

I saw somewhere that we met with Rachaad White like 4 times and we could be looking at him in the middle rounds. He is a big dude. Runs 4.48, can catch and run it and has got pro coaching with Herm Edwards, Brian Billick, and Marvin Lewis.

I think Bradberry is out pretty much no matter what. I think he will struggle in that press man scheme. So he is miscast and expensive. He is the perfect pickup for us because he's a seasoned vet who is in his prime and can help us pursue a Super Bowl. I think a Bradberry move could go down on day 2 if the Bills miss out on all the top corners.

It is interesting how "the lunch pail high motor guy" is always a white dude -
Awesome stuff @Virgil Thanks

I think there is going to be way too many commercials and not enough analysis. I also predict that I will want to punch Trey Wingo very hard after about 35 minutes of cliche’ lame exaggerations and hyperbole.

Name some good outside cornerbacks with sub 30 inch arms.

Yeah its funny. Elam has a ton of flaws in his game and he seems soft in some ways. McDuffie has all kinds of great measurable and intangibles and his knowledge and execution of zone concepts is excellent. He is also stronger and more explosive. Elams arms 30 7/8ths McDuffie 29.75 When all those boxes are checked, really is an inch going to be a dealbreaker? -
This is gold. Well done.

Gotta be Breece Hall no? -
They aren’t rebuilding imo. Based on everything they are doing this offseason. They need a WR and a LT. They couldn’t afford Armstead who is always hurt anyway. Its actually a really good roster and Winston was playing well before he got hurt. They have a veteran line except a LT, they have Kamara, Mike Thomas, Marshon Lattimore, Cam Jordan, Marcus Davenport, they just signed Marcus Maye and they hired a new coach from within. That is not a rebuild.

With the 25th pick in the 2022 draft the New Orleans Saints select Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia. NOLA needs and infusion of youth and upside in the interior of their defensive line and Wyatt adds a dynamic 3 tech for them to work with. While not necessarily a huge need, this makes them better and I did not want to reach for a LT. This is BPA. I do not think the Saints traded up to try and get a QB. I think they just want premier players and are planning to be competitive with Winston under center. All in all we added Olave, Wyatt, and Jordan Poyer so I like our rebuilt defense. Anybody have a left tackle anywhere? @frostbitmic and the Titans are now on the clock.

I don't think they are necessarily targeting safety. I think they want a LT and WR. I couldn't get the LT after getting the receiver so I traded down. I like Hamilton, don't love him for the Saints, so I was able to get a very good safety to move down 6 spots. That was my thinking as NO GM here.

It is the one position on the O line where it doesn't really matter. We have a center with 8.5 inch hands. Linderbaum's arms are slightly shorter than Alex Mack and a bit longer than Nick Mangold. Now is he small? Yep. Is arms the issue? Nope. It has more to do with weight and girth with him and how he deals with heavy nose tackles. I'll just add, with Lindy and McDuffie and guys like that, this is where NFL people get dumb and overthink it. Those guys are unbelievable. So you are gonna take some raw division 3 guy who never played against anyone because he has longer arms? It happens time and time again and is just wrong so many times.

I love, love, love Linderbaum. I do not think they will take him, but I love him.

Here is a little list i put together in another post. Now keep in mind that I love McDuffie and Stingley. I think mcDuffie was tailor made to play in this defense. Everything he does on film is what we do defensively. The arms don't bother me much because he is dynamic and super smart and a great tackler. The other thing is that the idea that he will struggle with bigger receiver is a projection. I really haven't seen it. James Bradberry is 33 3/8s Daryl Worley is 33 3/8s Tre White is 32 1/8th Xavien Howard is 31.25 Denzel Ward is 31.25 Marshon Lattimore is 31.25 Jaire Alexander is 31 1/8th Derek Stingley is 30 5/8s McDuffie is 29.75 McCreary is 28 7/8s Donte Jackson is 29.5 Byron Murphy is 30 1/8 In terms of wingspan, McDuffie is 72 3/8″. It's small, which I guess implies that he doesn't have super wide shoulders. Byron Murphy's wingspan is 71⅜. Donte Jackson is 71⅝. So I guess you could argue that his wingspan maybe helps him. To me what is important is what I see when I watch him play, and the RAS. Here is a useful chart showing all the corners: https://steelersdepot.com/2022/04/2022-draft-cornerback-prospects-relative-athletic-scores-ras/ I just love this dude. He oozes process. https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/trent-mcduffie-film-nfl-combine-draft-skill-set -
A running back or a guard or RT in the first would be a no from me.
-
Haha! I'd probably see a doctor for that not so fresh feeling.
-
@Virgil I sent you a trade idea. If it's a no I will make the pick.

With the 16th pick in the TSW NFL Draft 3.0, the New Orleans Saints select Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State. I was also eyeing Cross and a number of other guys. Realistically I think NO comes away with one of the LTs. There is also a need there in NO at the wide receiver position and there are 4 elite guys in this draft. The Saints get the last guy left. Olave excels in his route running, which doesn't quite make up for Jameis Winston's inaccuracy, but NO needed an infusion of talent, upside, youth and speed at the position. Olave provides that weapon for them. He reminds me of S. Diggs and that will play down in NO. The Chargers and @HappyDays are now on the clock.

Honestly, two guys we have been overlooking are Tremaine Edmunds and Breece Hall. I feel like we need to debate those guys more, we are clearly slacking.

Took my guy! All good! He was sticking out on the board in my imaginary draft!
-
Crazy, but again that’s why you don’t draft these tackles high unless they are slam dunk squeaky clean LTs.
