To me, if they are committed to changing the offense to more of a push the ball deep down field offense then Kupp isn’t the answer. If they continue to be an offense predicated on route running and precision, he is a perfect fit imo. It should be interesting to see where it goes.

Josh Allen gets record contract extension $330 million

Obviously this is great. Nice work. -
I think Cooper Kupp winds up here. Just my feeling on it. Either that or Amari back. I don’t see the Metcalf thing happening.

Harold Landry given permission to seek trade

I got 1. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes 🥴 -
I don’t know. Seems like his prerogative.

I like the Bobby Brown III idea Joe Marino presented. Guy is massive, athletic, under the radar, young, and likely has some pass rush upside if asked to be a one gap guy.

Milano's teammate at BC. In the past I would have said he's not a great fit for the defense, but it doesn't matter anymore, we just need sacks. I am guessing he goes to New England to play for Vrabel. -
Yeah, McGovern extension can probably make some cp space as well. I like his game a lot. And honestly, if SVPG is knocking down the door he could always move back to guard. A young guy who has been very good and has position flexibility makes sense to extend.
-
Yeah, I think that could be a smart play by Beane. And like I said I do like the player. I was one of the few defending him during his redshirt year as I thought he was pretty good in spot duty. I like the idea of keeping our own, I just would have liked to see a little bit more from Bernard before committing. I don't really care about his size and stuff. This braintrust clearly likes what they see so I think it's fair to try to get this done early.
-
He was also like one of the top guys vs man coverage the past few years so that is a fit for what they are looking for as well. He is not just a slot, he lines up everywhere and has good size. He also catches everything. I think the fit makes sense.
-
I know most don't like it, but I really think this is the move they make. They want route running and precision. I worry about his age and production. But he gets open and catches the football.

I had this argument with my wife about our bills. Microtransactions kill us. That's what this is IMO.
-
Point being, I would have waited another year to see if he could stay healthy and be as good as he was in '23. This is early for an extension that wasn't really earned yet. That's just my opinion.
-
Yeah, I am with this. Off-ball linebackers are really not the rage these days. It seems high but I'll wait for some of the details. He's missed a good amount of time and really only had 1 productive season. He was ok this year. And I am not a huge re-sign Cook guy...but if they give Bernard this contract, and let Cook walk, it's a problem imo.
-
A lot of slot receivers in there. And his notes on the only outside guy is that he is big and can’t separate.

Actually explains all the injuries
-
They were really into him when he was a free agent. I could see it if they decided to trade Kincaid for something which seems unlikely.

Seems like the consensus is Mitch can win you a couple of games. I’d agree with that. I just don’t think you have the luxury of paying a premium backup 10 million dollars to play those 4 games, when it’s very unlikely he plays at all. When you look at all the highly paid QBs around the league, they all have terrible journeymen or league minimum backups. I just don’t think you can devote cap to a backup when you are paying a premium starter.
-
This is my take. And ofcourse Tabor is coming from Carolina where he would have had to deal with Camarda multiple tiles during 22 and 23 when Camarda was looking like a dude.
-
If Josh gets hurt the season is over. Doesn’t matter who the backup is in my opinion. You are better off bottoming out and getting a top 5 pick to play with a returning Josh.

Jags release Christian Kirk, seems like a Billsy move

This was fun while it lasted! -
74 yard punt..in tampa and ofcourse a couple years ago, but Carmada has some upside.
-
Camarda is only 25, was looking like one of the best young punters, and then had some struggles. He punts and kicks off. He's also super athletic...actually ran a faster 40 than Keon...but who didn't? amirite? Anyway, there are a few interesting free-agent names if they want to go with an older vet but they can draft one as well.

Jake Camarda time!
