BTW I vote for more Reece Davis. He is faciltating conversation without snark and stupid opinions. Most enjoyable day 3 on ESPN in a while. -

No reason to think he can’t hold. He has 9 Inch hands. And I have said it a bunch on here, but he was a DB in high school, not a soccer kid playing football. So there is no reason to think he can’t hold or catch. Very excited for this one. -

He’s better than anyone left. They could also wind up with Baker or Jimmy Garopollo. Maybe Sam Darnold if the Panthers wind up with one of those guys. -
Cosell hit the nail on the head with his analysis.

They are having a sneaky good draft as well. And they got Shaq Mason. -

It’s where Boise used him. Doesn’t mean he can’t play outside. He just hasn’t done it much. -

I think Mathis is gone. I think OL makes sense. West, Leticus Smith and McCollum works as well. I think they like Jalen Wydermeyer -

Stump the truck is fun. I want to see analysis and breakdown, whether I agree with it or not. NFLN fails miserably at it! -

Can’t watch NFL network on days 2 and 3. They don’t cover anything. Just promote NFL crap. I know a lot of people don’t like ESPN but their draft coverage is so much better. -
I hope they took out the “prevent” page 🤷♂️

Came back in to say that I was completely wrong. Shocked the Ravens took SIX fourth round picks. Crazy. They are crushing it. -

Blue man group. Just like Chris Angel, no one cares at all. No crowd reaction -
My guy is still Brandon Smith. He could be the backup to Edmunds, similar to what they just did with Bernard.
-
It does. Brandon Beane actually said in his presser that he doesn’t think they will take 4 guys in the sixth. Maybe they trade up, maybe they trade down. Maybe they trade a pick for a pick next year. Were you watching yesterday? That is how this works. It is very logical. I guess we shall see.

Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia

This is your wide receiver. And because he is also a running back, he will be on the field. Any other receiver taken here is not playing very much. -

Not sure we come away with a WR anymore. A TE, OL, P, and more DBs is my best guess. There are also a few interesting DL around at this juncture. Top 30 visitors left: Brandon Smith LB (not sure they double up but he would be Tremaine backup) Spencer Burford OL Isaiah Spiller RB Isaiah Likely TE Jalen Wydermyer TE James Mitchell TE From the lists that we put together here, they also met with: Charlie Kolar TE Cade Otton TE Charleston Rambo WR Isaiah Thomas DE Cole Turner TE Perrion Winfrey DT Josh Thompson DB Matt Ariaza P There are probably more i missed, but TE seems likely at some point. -
Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
MrEpsYtown replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s the idea in my mind. Split him out. If there is a linebacker on him, let him do his thing. If they use a DB, there is a mismatch elsewhere. If the team goes small in a dime package, shift Cook into the backfield and run the football. It’s essentially what the patriots have done with James White for a million years, except Cook is bigger, faster, stronger. -
Teams will trade down when they don’t have the proper value. Chances that the Ravens have six guys with 4th round grades are slim so they will likely drop down when that is dried up. They do it all the time. That’s why they have so many 4ths and are crushing the draft. It’s smart.
-
The Ravens have SIX! 4th round picks. Not sure they will pick that many times. So that could be a trade up target. The Cowboys have four 5ths. The Dolphins have a 4th and two 7ths so maybe they want to trade down for more. The Giants have two 4ths and three 5ths. The Jets, in division, but they have two 4ths and their draft is over.the Bucs have two 4ths and no 5s or 6s. So those are some teams thats might want to trade down.

I dunno! Depends on need I guess. Maybe someone who liked Moss draft time, has a need, and doesn’t like what is left. Doubtful.
