  1. I’m a bit surprised, but he is functional depth. Good for him.
  2. So with the Al Shaiir signing and this one, options left are pretty much: Lavonte David, Bobby Wagner, Drue Tranquill, Cole Holcomb, Denzel Perryman, Rashaan Evans, Anthony Walker Jr., Devin Bush. (Tranquill is a former safety). I’d be content with one of the first 4. Perryman and Evans aren’t really what they have looked for in the past, maybe that’s a good thing.
  3. Had a down two years Because injuries. over-drafted, but he’s smart, good dude from all accounts. Probably not better than Gabe Davis at this point.
  4. Big baller beane?
  5. For his release?
  6. He was on the Ravens for like 4 years before he ever did anything
  7. I love Sanders. With Bates, McGovern and Sanders, we’d be bringing the PSU band back together. Bring in Nick Scott, KJ Hamler, Amani Oruwariye, Trace McSorely then draft Zach Koontz and you really get the band together.
  8. The baggage is that he is a massive douche
  9. Imo He doesn’t deserve a big pay day. He deserves that 6-8 million per year that all of these safeties are getting. He thinks he deserves more. At the end of the day his is an older guy who has dealt with recent injuries and did absolutely nothing until he came into this scheme. He is a very specific scheme fit, comes with baggage, and worried about taxes. He is a huge risk for teams in FA. Also, its a good safety group in FA and more than half the league drafted safeties last year from a loaded safety class.
  10. Maybe he wasn’t excited about Nick Gates and Andrew Wylie I thought Harris would be a target of ours. Interested to see what he gets. I do think the whole Poyer thing is going to depend on what happens with Gardner-Johnson.
  11. What about like Ben DiNicci? Cole McDonald? AJ McCarron? All guys doing a good job in the XFL? Maybe league minimum guys. I liked McDonald coming out
  12. We can agree to disagree. I think they maybe add somebody. I don’t see a massive upgrade outside the top 3-4 linemen like Johnson and Skoronski, who will be out of reach. I just believe in player development and I think there is something there with those guys.
  13. The whole system is set up to crush guys who don’t have agents. The guys crushing him on TV have agents and he is really dumb for representing himself.
  14. I like Bates and I don’t think the difference between him and a Seumalo is really worth the 8 million in salary, assuming Seumalo get s like 12 million. Should they add competition? Yes. Would ai be happy if they add Seumalo and Bates becomes a high level back up? Yes. But they have committed to Bates and Brown and I think they are both starters come September.
  15. If this narrative continues without any higher level additions, they are drafting a middle linebacker. It’s exactly what we heard about Dane Jackson last offseason.
  16. I liked him as a sleeper here. He has made some clutch plays for Dallas. I like what the Texans are doing. As long as they don’t go all stupid and trade Tunsil, it is starting to shape up as a good place for a young QB and I really like the Ryans hire.
  17. Do non tenders count towards comp pick formula? Not that it matters, I’m just curious.
  18. This Wilson contract and the Epps contract is fair market value for Jordan Poyer.
  19. So we are clear, Ed Oliver is the new whipping boy? Are we in agreement?
  20. I like Rapp, he doesn’t cover all that well. Rams fans don’t love him. He’s a box safety. I don’t dislike him, he just doesn’t seem to fit what the Bills typically want with a guy who can cover deep in 2 and 3 high looks. Still young with potentially, but a questionable fit imo.
