  1. Makes sense.
  2. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/connor-mcgovern/32004d43-4741-7420-d3a4-ecbbf78bc788 Check his pro comparison! Anyway, he started a ton of games at RG at PSU as well as center. Bates was a LT at PSU. I think McGovern is a natural RG (blocked by Zach Martin) and that Bates fared better at LG, so that's the combo I would go with.
  3. I'm sticking McGovern at RG and moving Bates over to the left side. It's an upgrade. He's a natural RG imo.
  4. This is the Cowboys one
  5. One of my under a radar guys. Ryan Bates old teammate. Just 25 years old and can play center and guard. I like it.
  6. It sucks. They made that massive trade-up for Davenport, he finally turned into something and they are going to just let him leave so they can sign Derek freaking Carr?
  7. It's teams with the rookie contract QBs. Anybody who paid a QB can't really do these imo.
  8. I would think the Giants would go all in on Juedy with the Brian Daboll-Bama connection.
  9. A second-round pick for me. I could probably be convinced to give up 1, but it would be a tough sell. Our RD2 and RD4 for Juedy and their RD5?
  10. His run blocking wasn't great and his sack numbers are padded by blocking for elusive QBs. He also holds, like a lot. Gets away with it though. It's the same thing I see with O'Cyrus Torrence blocking for Richardson. QB saved him a lot. Not a big fan of either.
  11. That really isn't much. Which is a good sign about prices for off-ball linebackers.
  12. He's the best guard in the league honestly. Has overtaken Nelson. But still, it's a lot.
  13. yeah, the guaranteed number isn't bad for 3 years.
  14. Seems like a pretty penny for a punter, but he was good so whatever.
  15. Unless he takes a good pay cut he is gone. I hope he is gone anyway. Time to move on.
  16. Everywhere he has been they found pretty good linemen in the draft. They also found undervalued guys like Austin Corbett and turned them into something. Saffold was a big miss, and so was Tenuta, but some of the other bodies they brought in like Ryan Van Denmark and Tanner Owen are the kind of athletic upside linemen they should be looking for. In his time with the Rams, they added David Edwards, Joe Noteboom, Comenan Shelton, Brian Allen, and Kromer convinced them to trade for Austin Corbett. None of those guys were first-round picks. With the Saints Jahri Evans, Jermaine Bushrod, etc. I think in his second year here we start to see more impact. At least I hope so.
  17. Last one: John Cominsky -DL- Lions DE who played all over the line and just made plays. Tremendous run-stopper who can get to the QB. Small school guy who had a mini breakout, he's a base end with some Trey Hendrickson kind of potential as a pass rusher. He blew up the combine a few years ago, but teh Falcons waived him as he was a weird fit in their new 3-4 defense. He's the kind of versatile defensive lineman this regime typically likes. If you watched a Lions game last year and wondered who the heck #79 was, the guy who was all over the field making plays with an excessive motor, that's Cominsky.
  18. What's more telling is that they had an interest in him pre-draft, needed OL, and when they had their chance they passed on Risner to draft Cody Ford. Both the Bills and Rams (Kromer) were interested in Risner so that may be something. Both were into Nate Davis as well.
  19. I would love to see the Bills make a run at Chauncey Gardner-Johnson or Byron Murphy as a corner convert. My gut, based on nothing, tells me they go after Juan Thornhill. Gardner Johnson and Thornhill were Bills pre-draft visitors in 2019. Here are a couple of more under-the-radar guys: Will Harris -DB- Another 2019 pre-draft visitor, Harris out of BC took a while to kind of find his role with the Lion. He is very versatile, playing all over the secondary, outside, nickel, and safety. Might there be something there with a full-time move to safety. 6-1, 207 with 4.41 speed, I could see them going this way. Again he would probably be a cheap add with some upside. He makes plays and stays healthy. A former teammate of Matt Milano, he was definitely hurt by starting his career in the Matt Patricia regime. Joejuan Williams -DB- I think he can convert to safety. Really considered a bust in New England, but perhaps a switch to safety and some of that McDermott DB dust might turn him into something. He had a nice career at Vandy and the Bills liked him pre-draft. 6-4, 211 with 32inch arms, he could be a very cheap competition add after missing 2022 with an injury. Would be kind of similar to the Poyer add coming off an injury.
  20. But how are the taxes?
