He just signed with a team for which his role will be exactly the same. But he is getting paid. Eberflus is a Rod Marinelli disciple, same school of Tony Dungy Tampa 2 as Lovie Smith, Leslie Frazier, Dick Jauron. Also bend but don’t break.

Yeah i agree. And i think they just see a guy with freakishly long arms like Brown and assume Mahomes will get rid of the ball quick.

Agreed. I would just add that ours has a good amount of upside and pedigree.

This could be a sign Cole Holcomb is going elsewhere. I think he is a good fit here. But coming off an injury there is some risk. I have no idea who that is.

Totally. The point of having Tremaine is that Tampa 2, take away the middle of the field. If he’s playing outside it kind of takes away that impact imo. So I don’t think his role will Be much different, though they will play some base.

I don’t. Eberflus’s defense is 4-3, but they are 4-2-5 80% of the time. Something like that. It’s similar to our defense. I’m guessing they play Tremaine at Mike and Edwards at Will with Sanborn at Sam. But the majority of the time it’s going to be Edwards and Tremaine on the field imo.

Totally different imo. This guy is 25 years old, he is barely a year older than guys like Andrew Vorhees and Cody Mauch and has 4 years of experience under his belt. He started as a freshmen at PSU. The upside is still there. Those other guys were old depth veterans.

With Pratt, Edwards, Edmunds gone you still have David, Kendricks, Wagner, Vander Esch, Bobby Owereke, Drue Tranquill, Cole Holcomb, Kaden Ellis. There is still a lot out there I’d be interested.

Yep. He's a year older than Andrew Vorhees. You can do a lot worse than two 25-26-year-old guards, in their prime, on reasonable contracts for the next 3 years.
