  1. This is what teh Hamlin and Gilliam contracts should have been. JMO. Absolutely no risk here.
  2. Bengals gonna Bengal.
  3. I'm sure Matt Smiley was covering this level of detail with the field goal block team...
  4. Yeah, I agree. He can block and catch, yet they use an extra offensive lineman in his place. It seems like he is purely a special teams player.
  5. Yeah these guys like him and Gilliam are minimum salary benefit guys. This is too much. Save 2.4 million on the Elam trade then turn around and give it to Hamlin? Micro transactions that are not necessary. IMO
  6. Yes that’s the issue for sure. I think he’s flashed. I’d give him a shot if I can’t add Samuel, and I would add to the position as well
  7. I mentioned in another thread, he is what a corner is like if built in a lab. Good size, speed in the 4.4s, long arms, he tackles, plays zone, plays man. He just turned 26. Overdrafted a bit and everyone expected him to Marshon lattimore or Denzel ward. There is a connection on staff as Okudah’s best year was with Atlanta where his DC was Ryan Nielsen. Outside of Samuel, he’d be my favorite add and he is more McDermott corner than Samuel is.
  8. still hoping for Samuel…but I forgot that Jeff Okudah spent that one year in Atlanta, it was probably the best year of his career and his defensive coordinator was Ryan Nielsen. Okudah always had that upside could be interesting. Hes the corner built in lab who was overdrafted. I would also consider throwing a late pick to the Pats for Alex Austin. He’s kind of one that got away, his secondary coach is here and he is not in line to start anymore.
  9. My guess is the Titans. Pretty much the entire defensive staff who brought him to the Jets are with the Titans now. Can play next to Cody Barton.
  10. His college highlights are fun. In there he plays strong, free, and some nickel.
  11. I read it somewhere. But asking price was high is what I recall… Edit: Diana Rossini in the atheltic around the deadline
  12. Weird, I guess they move Tippman to guard?
  13. Yeah I agree and go back to the trade deadline when they tried to get him, reportedly pretty hard, they obviously feel he can play with Shakir!
  14. Dude I hate Myles Teller. Horrible actor with a very punchable face.
  15. I am with you. But I do give them credit for actually moving on instead of trying to force their pick to work. Other than that, this whole saga was a massive failure of evaluation and drafting
  16. This aged well, St Juste signed with the Chargers. So we know Samuel is not going back there.
  17. I think someone posted in here. Not sure
  18. For me it’s Samuel, Okudah, St. Juste who could actually potentially start right away. Young guys with upside. And I think there is a gap between Samuel and those other guys. Jonathan Jones is gone to Washington. Dane Jackson is not the answer. I don’t think bringing back 31 is either.
  19. I went back some scouting reports and they are all over the place…off the few highlights it looks like he has a strong acumen for zone and working through progressions etc.
  20. Justin unpin Hamlin. No one cares 😝
  21. Yeah I think he could be. He’s so fast, but he’s never been used as a straight line deep downfield guy, but he certainly could be.
  22. I feel like this has been a thing here since Mt. Cody? That and backup quarterbacks.
  23. Anything is good. He was never a fit and the Cowboys have a good relationship with his dad. I wish him well.
  24. He’s a move all over guy. He’s a flanker in my book. He was once the premier route running guy and the best player against man. Obviously he has slowed down a bunch, but I think he fits. Shakir Palmer Kupp Coleman Samuel Shavers in the Hollins role That’s what I have in my mind. Is there a deep speed guy? Not particularly, but that’s not our offense. It’s about route running and getting open and Kupp is still one of the best imo. Despite being a slot, Shakir is really the number 1 and everyone else falls in line. Also Kupp is not small, he’s 6-2, 205 which would make him the third biggest guy on the roster outside of Coleman and Shavers.
  25. I'm down. Load up on proven guys for a pursuit of that trophy.
