Can someone please post our Scouts/Beane visits
MrEpsYtown replied to Food_Pyramid_Wrong's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I think that's it. I think it is still too early for that, but I am sure it will come out. -
Some interesting receivers are still around, but like the edge guys, it's kind of pick your flavor.

GOAT debate related to era Montana vs Brady
MrEpsYtown replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hate Brady. But he is the GOAT -
Eh Wypler to me is a little small. A finesse center. Bradbury is his ceiling and Jake Brendel is probably his floor. In terms of the fan reaction here? The new Creed Humprey here is going to be Darnell Wright.

I am not sure fielding a team of good-looking white guys is going to lead to a dynasty. Gonna have a tough time finding backs and corners. 😜

He was my pick if Dexter was gone. For the Bears he is a zone corner who fits what Eberflus wants to do. I agree with that sentiment, elite traits, like Dexter has, I am taking a shot on elite traits guys who for whatever reason didn't put it together in college, in the third round.
-
I was tempted to go edge again, and I had a corner I liked, but Dexter and Roy are the DTs I like in this area and then I think there is a bit of a drop off. I went with Dexter over Roy because of upside and I like both guys better than the Bills pick in Benton, just because upside.

With the 64th selection, the Chicago Bears select Gervon Dexter, DT, Florida Dexter is a former 5 star recruit who is a monster inside. He is huge, 6-6, 310 and blew up the combine a bit. He can play the 1 tech or 3 tech. For the Bears, he instantly upgrades the interior of their defensive line. Dexter is one of those boom or bust prospects, but if he puts it all together with coaching, his upside is tremendous. To me, getting this type of player in the third round is great value. So that wraps up the Bears portion of the draft. Biggest needs coming in were OL and DL and getting help for the QB. Justin Fields is the man for us, so we adda stud left tackle in Paris Johnson which improves the O line across the board. We add to the D line with huge explosive athletes with Keion White and Gervon Dexter, and come away with Derrick Henry for a second rounder, taking pressure off Fields. I am happy to come away with these 4 players in the first three rounds of the draft. @wppete and the Texans are on the clock @Virgil

For the Bears, White is really a nice fit. He’s a bit of a tweener, big long arms. 6-5, 280ish, but he plays with speed and power. He can rush inside in nickel situations and can play a base end in 4-3 looks. The only issue with him is that he is a bit raw and already 24 years old. But he improves the Bears DL in a number of ways.

Ok no worries!

TSW 1.0 Draft Poll - Who should the Bills select at #59

Olujari is an edge guy yeah? I think he is being underrated some. He definitely gives you more impact, but I actually like some of the other guys better. -
TSW 1.0 Draft Poll - Who should the Bills select at #59
MrEpsYtown replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a weak draft and we have been in a pretty bad spot in both rounds. Unless other GMs blow it, we are probably looking at a similar experience in reality. -
https://theathletic.com/4397301/2023/04/11/nfl-sunday-ticket-pricing-youtube/?amp=1 DirecTV reportedly had about two million Sunday Ticket subscribers. However, the company gave many subscriptions away for free to induce satellite signups. Oestlien said YouTube would not do so for YouTube TV. That’s from YouTube’s VP of product management.

TSW 1.0 Draft Poll - Who should the Bills select at #59
MrEpsYtown replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I have been back and forth on the edge guys. I don’t love Benton, but I get why people like him. I like Keion White, Foskey, they seem to be the long versatile guys McBeane loves. -
I understand that sentiment and I like Tippmann for that, but they need to draft guys who are going to play. This isn't a build anymore, they should be shooting for a super bowl, and adding depth pieces just isn't doing that IMO. I know they will have to replace Morse, but I think it is rather low on the priority list. Again, JMO.

100% I think they take one of those guys unless Anderson or Carter are there.
