  1. It’s actually Quentin Johnston! But point taken. My own OCD failed me in my own post!
  2. A steal here imo.
  3. I know I’m in the minority but I like Johnson the best. But I’m a boom or bust measurables guy. I dig JSN too and he is probably better than Johnson, but Johnson brings elements we don’t have here.
  4. I am not a Wypler guy. He’s a center only imo and I‘m not the biggest fan of his play. The later round guy I like is Nick Broecker. He has that LT experience, and he is nasty. I think he could be a really good guard.
  5. Not bad at the very end of the 4th. Hard to evaluate, big time recruit didn’t really do much, so you are playing the upside I suppose. Fits their profile, long an athletic. I am apprehensive on Oklahoma guys, but I will say this, I’d rather Morris in the 4th than Harrison in the first. Way less risk and I don’t think the gap between them is that big. But I think Morris is probably a guard. Is better than Bates/Brown? Meh. Maybe eventually.
  6. Hill is a beast. Not sure why the perception on him seems so low. I really wouldn't hate that draft.
  7. My small hope is that his old college teammate and HS rival Stefon Diggs can fire him up, maybe get him to work a little harder and buy in. At some point Ngakoue needs to realize that it isn't just sacks, but at the same time, if he just gives us sacks, I'd kind of be ok with it.
  8. They have put themselves in a tough spot because that 5th year option is coming up in 2024 already and its 20 million and Love hasn’t proven anything. They have to decide if they are picking that up in the next few weeks.
  9. How the hell is he 28? That’s just crazy
  10. Yeah I think he has potential, he’s way more interesting than Bernard. But that is pre-season, so just a different animal. I wouldn’t count him out. A three star recruit who pushed his way into a starting role at Clemson above other guys? I wouldn’t doubt him. His play strength was the concern coming out, so one hopes he’s been smashing weights all off season. Who knows?
  11. I had to go there. For fun!
  12. He can continue the Kuechly tutorial for Campbell 🤷‍♂️
  13. Ngakoue is a nice way to buy some cheap sacks. Evans is a weird fit but could enter a job share with Taylor Rapp as the linebacker next to Milano depending on the situation. Not the worst idea considering this point in the off season. The Addison thing I believe too. Route running seems to be important to them. They have also gone to the Pitt well quite a bit with Peterman, Dane Jackson, and Damar Hamlin. So I can buy those things.
  14. Jaguars Cardinals Commanders
  15. Great work. If the draft falls like this I would just go linebacker or edge. I think all the high end guys are gone. I understand the premise for Hyatt, but I also think a Will Fuller type isn’t worth a first round pick. I suppose in a weak draft I could accept it and I like Hyatt’s potential to into develop more, but it’s a meh for me. He is not going to run by guys in the NFL the way he did in college. I would take any of Simpson/Sanders/Campbell or an edge like Keion White or a DT in Mazi Smith in that case. JMO
  16. Maybe. He’s what AJ Epenesa and Basham were supposed to be before they lost weight…a big end who can flex inside on passing downs. He’s athletic as he was originally recruited and played his first year as a tight end. Long arms, big hands, the usual stuff. But the negatives are that he is 24 years old and there is still some rawness to his game. Imo He is definitely in play in that late teens spots….great fit for all those teams as he can play 3-4 DE, 4-3 DE, and 4-3 DT. 18) Detroit Lions 19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20) Seattle Seahawks 21) Los Angeles Chargers 22) Baltimore Ravens 23) Minnesota Vikings 24) Jacksonville Jaguars 25) New York Giants 26) Dallas Cowboys That’s the gauntlet for us as most of those teams have similar needs. To add, I think he could go as high as 10, and then you have the Packers in the mid teens and White is the type of player they usually love.
  17. Yeah I think if Keion White was some sort of Gergia or Clemson player rather than a Gerogia Tech transfer from Old Dominion, I think he would be first round lock. He’s still a bit under the radar and needs to be coached. But you can’t coach that size/speed/length combo he has. I love the Walker comp. Hutchinson clearly should have went before him, but Walker has some big upside. White could be as good.
  18. Keion White was super high ranked going into the combine. Jeremiah had him above Myles Murphy. This is one of those things where those initial rankings are probably more accurate than all the BS smokescreen stuff we’ve heard the last couple of months.
  19. This is literally an exact replica of what happened last year. Clear massive hole at corner. Beane talks up Dane Jackson etc. All the mocks have us taking Breece Hall, we take a corner. Here we are again, with a better running back room from last year and being mocked a worse prospect than Hall. Beane is hiding his intentions, big time.
  20. Gotcha. I suppose it could work out that way. I would hope that if they draft Wright he would beat Brown outright.
  21. Iron sharpens iron 100%. Competition is great. But imo you should never draft a first round pick for competition. Second or third round? Absolutely. If Brown beats him out it is a wasted pick. And, imo, there is no universe in which a RT is a very valuable trade chip. QBs, LTs, pass rushers, and offensive weapons are valuable trade chips imo.
  22. Shots for everyone! Especially @Virgil
  23. I feel like Johnson and Branch are going to be very good. Safety is a weird position to try and pinpoint, McDermott has done well in that regard.
  24. Gotcha. I think it is way to hard to predict. It’s easy to see the athletic upside with some. Brian Branch. He’s going to be a good to great player.
