Everyone finally gets to see how he fits in a WCO…which is likely not great. But I wish him luck
-
meh. I feel like you can just get another UDFA to do what he does.

Steelers. He always seemed like a Steelers player to me. Maybe its the black and yellow Iowa jersey

Your Top UFA Targets for Free Agency Monday

He will be playing with Sherff and Cleveland and another young quarterback. Good spot to land in.

Levi Wallace available in free agency?
MrEpsYtown replied to Taro Nimbus's topic in The Stadium Wall
no thanks -
Perhaps. Julian Blackmon and Jordan Whitehead, maybe Jeremy Chinn or Geno Stone come to mind. Not sure of their fit in the D but I like them. I see Jenkins as a great fit and just turned 30. Ideally they are in on McKinney or Curl or a Darnell Savage, but it seems they may be a bit expensive.

Justin Simmons released (now visiting N'awlins)

Connor Williams with McGovern is probably the only combo I would prefer over the Edwards-McGovern situation. I do think they add a depth piece, maybe Brian Allen. -
At the end of the day, I think he is pretty much replacing Siran Neal. At worst, he is on special teams and maybe plays some dime. It's a safe add because he could potentially be one of the starting safeties and if he isn't he will still be productive and provide value. With all the safeties on the market I think it is obvious they will add 1 if not two.

DT Foley Fatukasi Meeting with Bills Today-Signed by Texans
MrEpsYtown replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think they are very similar players who have played similar roles. Jones is 3 years older and more productive so far. Fatukasi is slightly more athletic. If I knew how to post that "why not both" gif, I would. -
I would like to see what some of the new coaches can do with him. Sometimes it takes a different voice. Obviously he has been a massive disappointment and a weird fit, but he was overdrafted and it always kind of felt like it wasn't going to work.

Good fit. Of the released guys he has taken over my favorite spot over Eddie Jackson and Rayshawn Jenkins. Any of those three guys would fit and are natural free safeties. I am guessing Simmons will be expensive. -

Quality 1 tech. I am happy they are looking into the released guys. With so many free agents leaving us this year, there is a chance they can work the comp pick stuff for next year. -
I think Rapp helps and I am sure that money is much lower. I'll wait and see what they do at the other spot. On the surface, he seems like a box safety, but he played a bunch in the Hyde high safety role and he looked pretty good doing it. Rapp just needs to learn to wrap!

Probably trying to hide that they will draft a punter.

I am not a big Anderson guy. He does have some ability and upside. To me, he is only around because he passed through waivers and was on the practice squad. If Nick Broeker had gotten through waivers he would have taken that spot. He has some interesting traits, but I am not sure I throw that dude in for any significant minutes for a team like the Bills. JMO. Edit: I didn’t recall that he made the 53 man so I stand corrected!

I see both sides. On the surface, it is slightly rich for a backup IOL. Ideally, those guys are young guys making nothing. If they held on to Jack Anderson or Nick Broeker, they would be minimum guys who are fine as depth. At the same time, I think Edwards is a premier backup because he could easily start for a lot of teams, has a ton of experience, and is still young. He also got a decent amount of burn as that heavy H back. You also have two starting OL in Torrence and Brown who make nothing, so it makes sense to spend some money on a guy who was reliable last year and premier depth.

Quandre Diggs should be priority 1 in FA
MrEpsYtown replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had failed high-pedigree guys like CJ Henderson and Kristian Fulton on my short list for that. Young guys who were highly touted corners and for whatever reason it just hasn't worked out should maybe consider a move to safety. -
What FA Signings Have Directly Lead to SB Wins?
MrEpsYtown replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are a few I can recall. The biggest ones are probably Drew Brees to the Saints, Peyton Manning to the Broncos and Reggie White to the Packers. Brady to the Bucs and Deion Sanders to the Niners are up there as well imo. Doug Williams with the Skins was a big one as well. Nick Foles with the Eagles was huge for them and directly resulted in a championship. Kurt Warner signing with the cardinals propelled them to the Super Bowl, and even though they did not win, they almost had no business being there and he took them over the top. Dwight Freeney, Alex Mack and Mohamed Sanu were huge pieces during Atlanta’s 28-3 debacle. Again they did not win, but those were huge signings. The Bengals signing of Trey Hendrickson was big and propelled their defens einto a Super Bowl spot. Once again, they did not win. Tyrann Mathieu was big for the Chiefs a few years ago. Michael Bennett with the Seahawks signed from the Bucs. Mike Vrabel became a key cog for the Patriots and was signed as a UFA from the Steelers. Shannon Sharpe and Rod Woodson to the Ravens. Charles Woodson to the Packers. Is free agency overrated and overhyped? Yes. But it is an opportunity to improve your roster. Only one team gets to win the championship, so the majority of the moves made next week will not lead to Super Bowls. -
He may be the one. FS and he makes plays and tackles. He played for Joe Danna in Jacksonville and is a Manny Diaz Miami guy. I love the way he plays.

I think it's a possibility. I would disagree with it to an extent, but the money savings is significant. I think they should run it back with the same offensive line, something that is very rare today. I would extend Morse and spread out the hit if I can.
