  1. The only reason I know who guys like Toohill are is just all the deep dive studying of the draft. Also getting old.
  2. Somehow Tyreek Hill is still idolized. I guess if you are good at sports, it's fine.
  3. All day! Blackmon Johnson, I would be in heaven!
  4. I actually like him better than Joseph Day. I would love this.
  5. two bills drive "after dark" amirite?
  6. Double reverse pitch to Damar Hamlin for -3 yards!
  7. My 2 cents on this whole situation is that this is just a tiny bit of guaranteed money and doesn't guarantee that he is the punter this year. I think they draft a guy and I think they are keeping Haack around to help the rookie work on holding for Bass. I have zero proof of this, but that is what I think will ultimately happen. If Martin beats out the rookie, then he sticks around.
  8. Agreed. But I do think it's going to be a mixed bag with Samuel. I think he will move al over the place.
  9. Agreed. In Norv Turner's system in Carolina, before they hired Brady, Samuel was outside more. In 2019 he was only in the slot at a 22% rate, which is less than Stefon Diggs was in the slot this year. So this "Samuel is a slot only" thing is really just one of those PFF made-up recency bias-type things. Bottom line, Brady is going to move guys around all over the place and Samuel adds to the pile of playmaking ability.
  10. Haack was actually an all state receiver in high school and recruited as a wideout, so perhaps he can provide some versatility! True story, but I am kidding here. http://www.hudl.com/v/2HwFdG
  11. This site is cool: https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/curtis-samuel/ For 2020 it has him in the slot 53% of the time.
  12. It’s a good and fair point. My only counter to that is that we have no idea if any of those guys visited and it just wasn’t reported. So who knows 🤷‍♂️
  13. Man I try to will things to happen, but I must have done some bad things in my previous life. Got no luck! My positive spin is that there is a bunch of medical verbiage that needs to be in the thing.
  14. Good stuff here: https://www.cover1.net/safety-julian-blackmon-visiting-bills/ Also interesting note, Blackmon was drafted for Matt Eberflus’ defense in Indy. His concepts are very similar to ours, that’s why Chicago went after Tremaine Edmunds. When you watxh the video on Cover 1, Blackmon looks like a cross between Hyde and Poyer. I think he’s a great fit and my optimistic gut says it happens.
  15. Kvon Wallace signed with the Seahawks, so one less DB.
  16. https://www.cover1.net/free-agent-profile-defensive-tackle-austin-johnson/ Johnson is very interesting
  17. The biggest thing I see in that video is he plays with leverage and keeps gap integrity, which is something the Bills DL seems to struggle with. And I know its fun to poke fun about the motor and lunch pail and stuff, but the dude seems to be relentless in his pursuit. I don’t know if he even makes the team, but there are certainly traits there.
  18. Yeah thats the one move they could make that would actually bother me. It’s what they should do. But they probably wont because they are the Jets.
  19. Yeah he ain’t no Toohill
  20. Actually he is super athletic!
  21. Time to nameplate my Dareus jersey!
  22. Clearly brings his lunchpail!
  23. Pure pass rusher, not a run defender, but can help in passing situation.
  24. I had my eye on Jack Driscoll, but he signed with the Dolphins. Of what is left, I like Evan Brown. Super high RAS center who is similar to Ryan Bates in a bunch of metrics. He's been a competent backup for a bit and floated around the league, has started 40 games. But he is still young and I love the athleticism. He can play guard or center. If you want a true vet backup who is a solid player in a pinch it's probably Cody Whitehair. He has a lot of experience at both guard and center. He is 32, but he is the type of guy who could be useful in the group. Released so no comp pick impact. Lucas Patrck was also released by the Bears and is a high RAS guy who has a good amount of experience. Shane Lemiuex is an interesting guy, but he has been hurt a lot and ruined by Bobby Johnson. But a young vet who would be very cheap and can play guard and center. You could potentially catch lightning here. Nick Gates, who was released by Washington is similar but has more experience. Brian Allen is mostly a center only. he is on the smaller side, but a Kromer guy and a former wrestler. He was excellent during their Super Bowl run and you could do a lot worse with a backup center. Another released guy, so no comp pick impact.
