  1. I'm going with #1. If we traded all the way up to the top 10 for non quarterback, people, including me, would lose their minds...we've been down this road before and it is a dark place.
  2. He is definitely the better player but has more wear and tear being more of a primary back for years. Stewart has about 500 more carries than Ivory in like 35 more games. Ivory is a year younger. Perhaps this drives the price down on Ivory. Ivory is the type of guy who needs to sign before free agency if he wants to get a reasonable offer.
  3. Ok I gotcha. i just don't think Rosen is that kind of guy. he seems to genuinely want to help people because he is in a position to do so. Thanks! I appreciate it. This board is really awesome!
  4. I think this is setting people up for a rookie quarterback. That they aren't going to now go all in on this flawed roster.
  5. Are you honestly arguing that this rich athlete should NOT give his time to charities and helped those less fortunate? This is really your position? I find that hard to believe. That would make him the selfish, rich jerk that everyone is making him out to be.
  6. Pretty much 90% of the NFL have some sort of foundation that takes up a lot of their time. Ever hear of the "Walter Payton Man of the Year?" Also, if the media asked him the question you are asking here, then I am sure he would answer it. He's a twenty year old kid simply answering the questions reporters are asking him. He will be answering all of these types of questions in the interview rooms this week. The teams who focus on his character in those meetings are idiots. My point is he isn't bringing these things up...the media are asking him about them.
  7. There have been a number of rich kid quarterbacks over the years. Not every football player comes from poverty. However, Rosen chooses to use his status and platform to stand up for those less fortunate than him. This might lead to him saying some controversial things, but I don't understand how that makes him a self-centered, arrogant, silver spoon jerk. I see him as much closer to Robin Hood. The things he is saying are of no benefit to him personally. He is putting himself out there to help others and say some of the things they cannot say. He's the kind of guy who might clash with coaches if he disagrees with them, but he will be loved by teammates and will likely take the blame and fall for them. The team who drafts him better have an OC who is smarter than him, otherwise you are asking for trouble. A lot of great quarterbacks clashed with coaches over the years...Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Dan Marino etc etc etc. It's the competitor in them. This is not a bad thing. This is the kind of thing people praise Baker Mayfield for. Why? Because he is a short, a walk on, who looks more like an every man and whose family had financial troubles? Honestly, if people take the time to read, and have some semblance of reading comprehension skills, they will see that this guy is really intelligent and the things that he is saying make a ton of sense. Is he going to stick up for the little man? Yes. Is he going to kneel for the anthem? No. Having a hot tub in the dorm? Genius...I wish I found a way to make that happen. I just can't understand the hate for Rosen. It seems like it is based on perception and not reality with a little bit of jealousy mixed in.
  8. I read this a while ago when I was trying to study Rosen. Its obvious that McDermott loves him and that the interviewer kind of baited Rosen with some of the questions and Rosen gave extremely intelligent answers. He's my guy. I'm not sure how anybody could read that interview and come to the conclusion that he is a jerk and a bad teammate.
  9. Perhaps he has some indication from the Browns that they are going to take him. If that is the case, there is no reason for him to throw here. All college coaches say this crap because it is in their best interests for guys to stay for four or five years. College coaches are snakes. They use kids up and spit them out and make millions doing it. Leach is an idiot. Rosen would have looked great running read options for Chip Kelly....Just dumb. Like you said, Rosen probably gets killed running Chip's offense and Darnold's stock would likely drop ala Matt Barkley.
  10. I just remember that one game against Miami. Other than that, I am simply not a fan. His lack of athleticism is part of the reason why Blake Bortles was able to run all over our defense in the playoff game.
  11. I don't think that is what Reilly looks like
  12. He already has his finishing move. Cheap shot forearm to the back of the head.
  13. If Preston was loyal to the Bills Mafia etc he would have never said anything about the Pats. He could have given generic answers like "it's a business etc." F him. I want him nowhere near this team ever again.
  14. Good idea, but I just think that this is putting too much interpretation out there for the few again, so you have the same problem as in the refs are dumb and make weird, corrupt decisions. This is rule change might just ruin the game. I coach high school football and we train our corners to commit PI when beat because they are preventing a touchdown and it's 15 yards.
  15. Damn I hated him for being slow and bad at football. Now I really hate him.
  16. Anyone remember Jon Corto? UDFA from Sacred Heart. Played some safety and eventually moved to linebacker. And ofcourse who who could ever forget the X-Man Xavier Omon?
  17. I remember him for being picked 5 picks before Tom Brady. Mine is John DiGiorgio, I loved him and remember him playing better than Poz when he was in there.
  18. I think Gaines may still be possible. He has a very specific skill set as a zone corner that is not a great fit for every team and he's had injury issues, so I'm not sure what type of interest he will receive as a free agent. That said, if we do re-sign him, we could play Davis in the slot. He is a bigger corner with good man to man skills, which would help him there. Leonard Johnson could be #4, and then you are in a very good place depth wise.
  19. I like Bridgewater a lot, but I think if you sign him, you are signing the quarterback of the present and future. He is still really young, so he could be your guy for the next ten years. IMO, if you draft him, you punt on this year's draft class. If Bridgewater gets hurt again, you are looking to teh draft next year. He is going to go to whichever team is going to make him teh guy. I do not think that the Bills will do that. I could see someone like Arizona or the Jets making that type of move.
  20. I think the two guys with brass balls are Rosen and Mayfield.
  21. While I agree, I do think we are in a good position to use him to trade up for a franchise quarterback. I like Glenn, but if he could help us jump up the draft board we need to do it. The Giants Broncos, and Colts have huge needs along the offensive line. A franchise quarterback trumps all.
  22. Agreed. Looking at the numbers, I think an early off season trade makes the most sense. I think he will have trade value for a team like the Giants or Colts.
  23. I don't like this. I wonder if there are other guys not throwing. I think if he is the only one, it looks bad.
