  1. Finally a non midget reciever. Nice!
  2. I tend to disagree. Most of the OK State wins this year were blowouts. Their toughest matchup was Oklahoma, who beat them 62-52. They also had a really tough loss to TCU. Peterman's senior year featured marquee wins against Clemson and Penn State, plus wins over Villanova, Georgia Tech, Virginia, and a tough loss to Virginia Tech. If you really look closely at the level of competition, it's pretty comparable. In terms of potential, I think Rudolph is Bryce Petty, a guy with some size and physical tools who needs a ton of work. Petty was a fourth rounder. Peterman was a fifth. I guess my argument is that Rudolph is much closer to Peterman, than he is to any of the top guys in this draft. He is a third, fourth round pick in my opinion. I think he is a future solid backup to develop. Also in terms of measurables these were his measurables at the Combine: 6041 229 9 1/8 32 1/2 78 3/4 His hands are tiny for a guy his size. I think Jackson sneaks into the first round the first round.
  3. It could be one of those cases in which everyone already knows that the Bills love him and there is no reason to put up a smokescreen. I think a lot of front offices have really good ideas about what other front offices are thinking. He may be putting teams on notice that they want to trade up. Sure some people may be able to beat us to the Giants pick, but no one else can offer two first round picks this year and a franchise left tackle. There may be no use in beating around the bush at this point.
  4. Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Mayfield, Jackson......huge drop off from there.
  5. I think it's possible. I feel like his small hands and lack of arm strength will turn them off, but I could be completely wrong. How he does on the board with offensive concepts is going to be critical for him. I don't think he is much better than Nate Peterman honestly. Similar arm strength, Rudolph has better size, Nate has bigger hands, Nate had experience in a pro style offense coming in. I don't think Rudolph move s the needle the way the top five guys would, and would therefore be a wasted pick. In the fourth round its fine. I count the top five as Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Mayfield and Jackson. I think there is a huge drop off after them. And I don't think the Bills will be in on Mayfield or Jackson. All just my opinions.
  6. It's smokescreen season, but Beane has repeatedly said that he wants a quarterback who can win games from within the pocket. I like Jackson, I think Mayfield is interesting, I do not think the Bills will draft either. I think their board is Rosen, Darnold, Allen, or punt on this class.
  7. Interested to see what he runs, because he is a dynamic offensive player. He could be a running back at that size. Measurables look similar to Tyrod Taylor, but a little more meat on his bones. He's bigger than Mayfield huh?
  8. Brian Daboll has used one everywhere he has been. His fullback in Kansas City was Patrick DiMarco. Pretty sure we will have one.
  9. I hear you. My argument is if I'm Cleveland and I don't love the quarterbacks, then don't take one. Trade down as far as you want in that case.
  10. The idea of a shorter term deal gets me thinking Arizona. Go to the Cards and try to win a Super Bowl with Larry Fitzgerald over the next couple of years. They are going to have to cut some players to make it happen though.
  11. Oh mylanta is right. I'm getting all hot and bothered.
  12. I love Rosen, but I'd honestly be ok with any of those five. After those guys I don't see a potential franchise guy.
  13. I really like DaQuan Jones. PSU guy. I hope he is a target.
  14. Basically the same size as Mike White. Bigger hands than Rudolph, but a bit on the smaller side.
  15. I agree with you on taking Barkley. But why not trade down from 4 if you don't love the quarterbacks? Sign a vet, draft Barkley, then trade down for more picks.
  16. Thanks for sharing. These points are huge in relation to Rosen. Having a guy on our team who played left tackle for Rosen for two years is a big deal. You have someone who can clarify questions about Rosen in your own house. This is huge. From everything I can gather, Conor McDermott loves Rosen. I will be interested to see if the Bills interview Kolton Miller, who played with Rosen for 3 years, and Scott Quessenberry, who played center for Rosen for two years. These are the guys who can show that "stories match up."
  17. With Cordy Glenn on board I'm thinking Billy Price and the best linebacker on the board. They are shifting to a 3-4 defense, so they will need more picks to fill it out. If they sign Andrew Norwell, they may find themselves in the Super Bowl next year. Glenn, Norwell, Price is a great way to re-build an offensive line. That is why I think they trade down.
  18. I think a Cleveland trade down makes sense if they go with a veteran quarterback. I still think they will sign McCarron, draft Barkley with 1, trade down from 4, develop Kizer. It's the fastest way to competing. You have McCarron, a really good offensive line, Corey Coleman, Josh Gordon etc. They could go from 0-16 to 8-8 on the edge of the playoffs. Having 2 of the top 4 picks becomes a really expensive situation in a couple of years with fifth year options and such. While it sounds like a cool idea on paper, when these guys pan out, the Browns are going to have to pay all of them. It's the problem the Rams are having now, they have a number of high picks whose pay days are coming up (Watkins, Joyner, Goff, Gurley, Donald) and they are going to wind up having to cut a really good player like Mark Barron or Robert Quinn. With all of that said, I am only trading up for Rosen and I think we need to trade up with the Giants to get him.
  19. Im not saying that's what they are thinking, my point is that whether they want to keep him or not....what are they supposed to say at the moment? Trying to look into what they are saying here seems futile. Although if they were going to keep him, why wouldn't they just say that now?
  20. They are in a tough spot. What are they supposed to say? "Listen, Tyrod took us to the playoffs, but he kinda sucks. We are gonna pick up that option so we can try to trade him for whatever we can get. F process....we already know he blows."
  21. I'm going with #1. If we traded all the way up to the top 10 for non quarterback, people, including me, would lose their minds...we've been down this road before and it is a dark place.
  22. He is definitely the better player but has more wear and tear being more of a primary back for years. Stewart has about 500 more carries than Ivory in like 35 more games. Ivory is a year younger. Perhaps this drives the price down on Ivory. Ivory is the type of guy who needs to sign before free agency if he wants to get a reasonable offer.
  23. Ok I gotcha. i just don't think Rosen is that kind of guy. he seems to genuinely want to help people because he is in a position to do so. Thanks! I appreciate it. This board is really awesome!
  24. I think this is setting people up for a rookie quarterback. That they aren't going to now go all in on this flawed roster.
  25. Are you honestly arguing that this rich athlete should NOT give his time to charities and helped those less fortunate? This is really your position? I find that hard to believe. That would make him the selfish, rich jerk that everyone is making him out to be.
