Greg Gabriel Short Article On The Bills Drafting a QB
MrEpsYtown replied to ndirish1978's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Interesting opinion from him and thanks for sharing. My issue is that, to me, that second tier is what we have already. If we are getting a quarterback similar to McCarron or Peterman then why bother? If we are drafting in that next tier it has to be Jackson, because at least he has all world potential if all goes right. Those other dudes are JAGs. -
Yep I agree. He got himself concussed in that Jacksonville game at the end because he wouldn't throw the damn ball. I get tat he didn't throw interceptions, but their is some risk reward to the passing game in the NFL. He was very average and a below average passer and did not make anyone around him better.

Doubting which qb to pick? What about Wonderlic?
MrEpsYtown replied to drf1835's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These should leak out soon no? Maybe the media will hold them back because Josh Rosen is "too smart." -
I hwmear you but having a guy run around in circles, albeit fast circles, doesn’t help either. Linemen keep their butt to the quarterback and are taught to protect the inside. You need to climb the pocket, which Tyrod didnt do. The protection cant hold up with the way he plays.

Milano will have a tough time at Mike at 220 pounds. It just is what it is. Our MIKE is not on our roster at the moment. If our system is designed to get the ball out quick and these guys get rid of it, i do think we will be better.
-
Holy moly i cant read lol. I actually disagree with you. I think Tyrod was so terrible in the pocket that he caused sacks. He held the ball to long and would not throw the damn rock. Either way our oline isn’t great.

Edmunds at #12 & Vander Esch #22
MrEpsYtown replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For me it is trade up for Darnold or Rosen. If not i do this. People who would take Mason Rudolph at 12 and pass on a guy like Edmunds are delusional. -
It is kind of messed up when consider his tenure with the team. That would be like us releasing Kyle in the same fashion. But im not surprised by Marrones lack of loyalty

That sounds good on paper but when all of the guys on defense are bigger and faster than you in the NFL you are likely to get yourself killed. Unless Preston Brown is the linebacker across from you. Then you are free to scramble all you want. -

Allen is also faster than Mayfield, which man people ignore. Small and slow combination no bueno unless you are a once in a lieftime Drew Brees. Allen is going to go very high. -
I agree with you. I still think Ducasse and Mills are terrible. The reason why the Patriots can throw together 5 undrafted or mid round pick guys and no one gets a sack is becuas Brady. Tyrod often scrambled into sacks and was generally really terrible in the pocket.

McBeane is very loyal and like to stick with those they trust. unch is one of those guys. Glaring holes are QB, RG, RT, MIKE Milano is an undersized WILL. He is definitely too small to play the MIKE. I really like him, but I think he starts at WILL.

100% agreement. I always like to add this one as well: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/nathan-peterman?id=2558191 Some people are in denial, but Rudolph is not the prospect they are dreaming up. -

The Steelers have the 28th pick. 12 and 28 are a big difference. Also they are not going to use that pick on Rudolph. I could see them taking him the 2nd, 60th overall. Would be a bit of an overdraft there, but not bad value wise. They also have a franchise quarterback, so they are in position to draft and develop guys. If it doesn't work, it doesn't matter. They also have only 5 picks. They aren't using their first round pick on Rudolph. NO way. -

I really am interested to see some comparison of Davis Webb to some of the guys in this draft. I know he feel to the third last year. If he were in this draft where would he rank? That should have some effect on the Giants thinking. -

They say this stuff every year and it never happens, but we shall see. That would be pretty crazy if it did.
