  1. My guess is they gave the same standing offer to Compton, Minter, and Dansby and are waiting to see who takes the offer. I hope they are looking into Shea McClellin, if he's healthy, would be a great add. Maybe they stay at 12 and 22 and take Smith/Edmunds and LVE?
  2. I would trade down but force the Bills to give me both 1s this year and the 2019 1. Plus some other picks.
  3. The first time I heard this it came fromBrandon Beane. So I guess he need a punch in the face?
  4. Hopefully Pryor signs with the Jets taking them out of the running for Hurns. He is a great fit imo
  5. Two inches can make quite the difference. ????
  6. Fair enough. Great points and analysis and what you are saying makes a ton of sense. I'm very curious to see how it turns out and this thing cannot get here fast enough.
  7. Definitely think he is first rounder and I get what you are saying. I just have an unfair prejudice against the small quarterbacks. I think a lot of NFL people do too and that's why a guy like Brees drops. I'm a bit of a tradiotanilst in that sense. If if you are going to be a short quarterback you better be a super athlete or deadly accurate, otherwise I don't think you make it. That's imo.
  8. It's a tough spot. I don't like short quarterbacks. Everyone uses Brees and Wilson as examples. Brees had an unbelievable career at Purdue. Just ridiculously accurate, really smart, sneaky clean. He's a once in a lifetime player. Yet he went in the second round and didn't really hit his grove until he got with Sean Payton. Wilson is an unbelievable athletic. Awesome speed and all that stuff. Huge hands, really smart and squeaky clean. He went in the 3rd. Here we have Mayfield. He's a gamer, shows some promise with accuracy in the pocket etc. He ain't Brees though. He can make plays with his legs, but not near the athlete of Wilson. With his 4.81 forty even Preston Brown might run him down. Plus there are off the field issues and he is very abrasive and likes to make excuses. I do think he has a chance to make it. The guy can obviously play and he has some projectable skills. But Mayfield is a huge question mark for me. I could see him going third to the Jets, fifth to the Broncos, or fall to the second round. Im really curious to see where he goes.
  9. Now this is a smokescreen. The Giants must want Barkley imo and may be trying to force the Browns to choose Darnold. I think they are taking Darnold regardless. Giants take Barkley, Jets QB, maybe we trade to 4?
  10. I like that we are scouting Ninja style. No reports of us doing anything is the way I like it to be.
  11. Peterman is another example of why guys need to sit. Could he become a competent backup, average starter? Maybe. But he should not been playing in that Chargers game. The staff was stuck in a weird spot because their "quarterback" just threw for 52 yards in an actual NFL game. Regardless, whoever we draft, they need to sit for at least 6-8 games. Preferably the whole season like Carson Palmer.
  12. Hmmm not a Brooks fan...but no Mason Rudolph again. Hmmmmm. He's not is DJ's top fifty players either. Weird that guys who worked as scouts in the NFL and have tons of connections are completely whiffing on Rudolph. Really strange.
  13. Yeah not sure how he is going to outrun NFL defensive ends...
  14. I think there is some nice healthy debate on here, and some ridiculous hyperbole.
  15. He is definitely a #4. I think he is going to think he is a #2 and that’s why i don’t think he will be back. But we shall see.
  16. I hear you and it is a good point. But I think Brady is a once in a lifetime situation. Using him as the example doesn’t say a whole lot jmo.
  17. Thanks for this guys. Didn't realize USC pro day was on TV.
  18. If Rudolph goes in the first round I will totally eat crow and admit that I am wrong. I just hope all the supporters do the same when he goes in the third or fourth round and we never hear of him again.
  19. We shall see what happens. I have to trust those in the know and my own eyes over some guys on a message board, you know what I'm saying?
  20. Dont forget he is smart and has opinions! Rabble rabble rabble! And he's rich!
  21. Terrible mock. He doesn't have Mason Rudolph in the first! He knows nothing. Anyway, I'm am starting to feel like the Giants could want Barkley. If he is there at two they won't trade out. If the Browns take him at one, they will trade out. Breer mentions that the Giants love Barkley and Nelson. This is all contingent on the Giants not wanting a quarterback, but I think we we could have standing offers for the 2 and 4 picks. If the Browns go QB and the Giants get Barkley, the Browns probably trade us 4. If the Browns take Barkley, the Giants maybe trade out with us, and the Browns get a quarterback at 4. I think it is all contingent on if Barkley is available. Either way we would be guaranteed 1 of Allen, Darnold, Rosen.
  22. Jackson is a project who could one day be something like a Michael Vick, a true weapon as a runner and a passer. He needs to develop. I actually see a lot of Cunningham in his game. Rudolph is a project who could some day be something like Brandon Weeden. He has the potential to be an average to below average backup. I wouldn't take either in the first round, but Jackson at least has the potential to be something. Jackson round 2, Rudolph round 3.
