I'm keeping an eye on Jacksonville. With the Norwell signing I think they may have to move someone off the cap. Keep an eye on Allen Hurns if he is released. That would be my guy. Size and speed.

Now i can wear my poz Bills jersey again

He is an ego maniac. I think he will continue to draft this type until he hits on one. He only has a job because he was a great player and Peyton Manning fell into his lap.

Besides Tyrod missing open guys, this is why we lost the Jacksonville game. No pressure up the middle allowed Bortles to step up in the pocket. Once he got out our 4.9 MIKE was too slow to catch him.

I can’t believe they signed him! He’s a Mormon! How will McDermott deal?!?!

Curious about the money, but i like the fit.

Six Degrees of Separation - McBeane Edition

I think this makes a lot of sense. If you are Cleveland why wouldn't you talk to those other guys about who they are going to pick so you know that you can draft Barkley at 1 and take your qb at 4. If you are Bills and trading up with the Giants, why wouldn't you talk about the picks, to try and assure that you are going to get the guy you want at #2? I really think these guys can get teh top of the draft to go exactly they way they want it to go. -
He is simply reshaping the roster to reflect his vision of what a successful football team should be. Why try to win with players drafted by a different regime, especially because we have sucked for 17 years? Whether or not he gets value doesn't matter so much. He is reshaping the roster and kind of rebuilding on the fly. I respect him for having the cajones to move on from Tyrod and Glenn, one was simply never going to better than a below average qb and the other an often injured player. Because we made the playoffs, most other GMs would fold to the pressure to stand pat. While these moves might not be popular amongst the fans, he opened up cap space to surround the quarterback with better players.

Who can throw in the snow and bitter cold?

They both have big hands. Webb is like 11 inches and Peterman is 9 7/8. That is where hand size comes into play. -
Josh Rosen has "Bust" written ALL over him.

Two most obvious things about that video...Rosen clearly doesn't like football and his teammates hate him. -

Probably Allen and Rosen. I don’t love the way Darnold holds the ball and his hands are bit on the smaller side. He would be the one I’d be worried about honestly. I’m not thinking much about Baker honestly becuase I do not think this regime will draft him. As much as everyone hates on Peterman, he has really big hands and I think it helped a lot in the snow game. -

According to unnamed sources, there may have been a hot tub involved as well. -
You definitely have the right to say I told you so. We are always so quick to question people and force them to eat crow and much less likely to give credit when someone gets one. Kudos!

Could Hughes be next? $10.4 mil cap

I could see a trade to Arizona or Indy as teams switching to a 4-3. I could also see Mike Pettine banging the table for him on his defense in Green Bay. I think he should stay. -

I actually could see them making a push for Kyle Williams. Bill Kollar is their D-line coach and Kyle loves him. -
I think NFL people like Allen a lot more than we do, so I think he is going higher than people think. I also think NFL people like Mayfield a lot less than we do. And I think he goes a lot lower than we think. All said, I think we are targeting one of Rosen, Darnold, or Allen. My money is on Rosen. Allen needs a ton of work as does Darnold. But this regime may see Allen as the next Cam Newton, so who knows.

If you are going to draft a pocket passer who is young you need to invest some in the O-Line. Norwell is possible if you dump Richie. I mentioned center Ryan Jensen above. He should be the #1 target. I could see Josh Kline at RG as a UFA. He played for the Pats so will be very familiar with terminology that Daboll is likely to use. I also like Josh Sitton who was released by the Bears so no comp pick formula. Then you probably need a RT. Maybe Cameron Fleming of the Pats as well. I do like Conor McDermott as a possibility at RT as well. Also good friends with Rosen. Perfect world in my mind? Dawkins-Norwell-Jensen-Kline-Fleming Very unlikely to actually happen.

Assuming Bills have their choice, which QB is chosen?
MrEpsYtown replied to buffaloaggie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it has to be Rosen. But I could understand why they like Darnold. I don't love him. I could also see Josh Allen. I think NFL front office people like Allen a lot more than all of the prognosticators and fans and such. But dammit I want Rosen. He's so close to a sure thing in the NFL draft, huge talent, upside, and a very low floor. We might finally have a super smart pocket quarterback who can dissect a defense. -
Its all good! You certainly won’t be the only one!
