  1. I believe it is two third-rounders edit: maybe I am wrong and it is only promotion to HC?
  2. I'm a high school HC and my QB asked if we could implement the clap....and let's just say it was a no.
  3. I like Kliff, but he needs to take a coordinator position with a team with an elite QB to re-build his value before he gets HC consideration again. He was not ready and doesn't care about defense.
  4. I agree. They do have some skill guys as well with Dotson, McLaurin, and Robinson and two great defensive tackles. They need to rebuild the back seven of the defense and fix their offensive line. They could even let Sam Howell get killed for a year and sit their shiny new QB, especially if it winds up being Drake Maye.
  5. I hope they interview: Joe Brady Kliff Kingsbury Kellen Moore Arthur Smith Zac Robinson Brian Johnson Mike LaFluer Kingsbury would be my top choice. If you want change, you take a demanding prick and put him in the building. He is not a yes man.
  6. So next Bills head coach? Former panther!
  7. I’d add Brandon Aiyuk to the trade list. He is set to play on the 14 million 5th year option. Nots sure they will move him, but you can’t pay everyone and they are going to have to allocate some money to the defense.
  8. Yeah it's funny people so hung up on Humphrey for some reason. If I am redoing that draft, I am taking Landon Dickerson at the end of the first, Nico Collins in the 2nd, Amon-Ra St. Brown in the third, Talanoa Hufanga in the fifth, and Trey Smith in the 6th. Bam! Now that’s hindsight.
  9. Kyle Dugger. Something like 4 years, 45 million…11.25 per maybe? They were all over him pre draft and spent all that scouting time at that D2 school. I’d pay more for Xavier McKinney. He can play either strong or free and can play single high, two high. He tackles, makes plays and still has upside. He’s also 3 years younger than Dugger. I’d also sign up for Gardner-Johnson. The Bills showed a lot of interest in him pre draft. Drafted Dawson Knox about 10 picks before he went. But he is a great fit and similar to Hyde in terms of skill set.
  10. To be fair, they were able to go get guys like McDuffie because the haul they got for the Tyreek trade. But the point is valid. They have done a really great job of drafting talent and finding value in people that maybe the league was missing out on. 2023 is meh except Rice, 2021 they found Bolton, Humphrey and Trey Smith and didn’t have a first round pick. 2022 they crushed with the extra draft capital. McDuffie, Karlaftis, Pacheco, and guys like Chenal, Williams, Watson, Moore and Cook. They do a great job. I don’t get hung up on Humphrey thing, the way a lot of people do, he was the third center off the board. But to me McDuffie was the one that got away.
  11. In fairness, it was really Shakir who replaced McKenzie in the lineup with about the same percentage of snap counts with slightly more production but Shakir was way more efficient. Harty only played like 13 percent of the offensive snaps, which was disappointing and a clear bust. Sherfield was a liability and on the field too much. Combined they played about 46 percent of the snaps.
  12. So who is really a number 1 receiver these days? Like a true, true 1? Jefferson Lamb Chase Hill St. Brown Like what are guys like Adams, AJ Brown, DJ Moore, Devonta Smith, Nacua, Nico Collins, Mike Evans, Deebo, Aiyuk etc. Diggs? And I am being honest here. The call for a 1 or 2 receiver I get it, but where’s the line? Because true #1s to me are pretty few and far between.
  13. That’s crazy. The funny thing is that ages for guys coming out of college are going to fluctuate so much with all the transfer portal stuff.
  14. Yes I agree. Wilkins is a monster and I think Holland is a dude, but I was not impressed with their defense either.
  15. I mean he’s almost as young as Tremaine. I kid I kid
  16. Oliver was also handled by Nick Allegretti for 13 plays after Thuney got hurt. So that is definitely on him. But to me Washington/McDermott did not dial up any sort of twists or games on the line to take advantage of a historically awful left tackle and a RT who struggled all year. The tackles were the weak link and the Bills did not attack them. I have to say I thought the gameplan, or at least what it appeared to be, outside rush to contain Mahomes, stymied any pass rush they might get.
  17. Agreed! I did not want to be too much of a homer!
  18. I think it is a fair question, I think it’s obvious his talent is off the charts, he just played for a complete idiot loser coach. I’m based because I have always loved his game. He can do everything those other guys can do. His 2021 season is pretty much what earned him that extension.
  19. I think its tiers… Josh Lamar Mahomes and Burrow are their own tier imo. Then it’s Herbert (he’s close to those guys and will get there with Harbaugh) Then its guys like Hurts, Stafford, Dak…Goff had a great year. Then young guys who are on their way, Lawrence, Stroud, Love Then its mid Tua, Purdy, Baker Mayfield… And old guys who were elite Rodgers, Wilson. And old guys who were meh Carr, Cousins etc. All my opinions.
  20. Yeah I was watching the Kiper mock draft and one of talking heads said Daboll comes from the Andy Reid tree, I was yelling at the TV. He goes all the way back to Michigan State with Saban. Late 90s
  21. I agree, I was making a somewhat tongue in cheek joke that I thought worked 🤷‍♂️
  22. He has gotten as far as McDermott, which is the AFC championship game. My point is he did it without a QB. He was also NFL coach of the year in 2021.
  23. I give Vrabel a pass on the AJ Brown stuff. Based on what is going down with Brown in Philly, I think they got out in front selling a potentially toxic asset. There is something fishy there and Vrabel and his brainstrust somehow kept it quiet. I would hire Vrabel in a second. He holds the players accountable and is abrasive. We need some of that around here. The biggest difference in his wins vs. McDermott's is that Vrabel won with Ryan freakin Tannehill.
  24. It certainly feels like they could go all in on Kyle Dugger with how much they liked him pre-draft. Jeremy Chinn is an interesting case. He looked like a game-breaker drafted for Steve Wilks' defense, then with all the defensive changes he kind of got lost in the shuffle in terms of his fit. He could potentially fit here, but he needs to be a full-time safety, not just a big nickel.
