  1. Best fits are probably the Titans or Colts. They have the cap, the quarterback, the need, and coaches who spent a lot of time in the NFC East. The Niners make sense as do the Texans. Maybe he could be convinced if we drafted Rudolph and Washington in the first round...Then we could run Mike Gundy's offense.
  2. Good point. I feel like McDermott and Beane are more of the forward thinking variety. At least I hope that is the case. They have a really good mix of old school and new school on both the coaching staffs and scouting staffs. I still think they want Darnold or Rosen, but that could simply be my hope. Perhaps all this stuff about Rosen is being put out there by the Bills so they can grab him in that 7-10 range. Maybe they realized they can't trade up, so the best they could do is try to get their guy to slide. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.
  3. Makes sense. Not sure that Mayfield answered questions about his attitude, but he did have a ridiculously good year so it makes sense.
  4. Trappaso's rankins just can't be trusted. Rudolph has been his guy for a while and he's been all over his jock. It borders on strange. Here is Matt Miller's 2018 mock that he put out right after last years's draft. He had Allen-Rosen-Darnold as the three 1st round quarterbacks in that order. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2706876-2018-nfl-mock-draft-matt-millers-way-too-early-predictions This is All22's. https://www.all22.com/nfl/2018-nfl-mock-draft-early-first-round-projections-32-picks#.WtX0XGinG00 They had Allen-Rosen-Darnold, with Luke Falk going at the end of the first. People have been talking about Allen at the top of the draft for two years. Rosen has been in that top 2-3 for awhile. Darnold as well. All three had less than stellar years this past season, so that is why you are seeing the rise of guys like Rudolph, Jackson, and even Mayfield, who no one had pegged as first round draft picks.
  5. We are middle of the pack in cap space right now. Not terrible. I think he's gonna get between 7-10 million. We could put teh majority of the money in year two.
  6. I mentioned this somewhere else, but Terry Robiskie is the type of coach who could get Dez back on track. Players love him, but he is a tough love type of coach. He's been around a long time (36 years of coaching!) and has a great amount of respect among players around the league. To me. Robiskie is the X-Factor and makes me believe this is a possibility. DeMarco Murray loved him, and that's Dez's boy so word travels. If Dez wants to get his career back on track, Robiskie is the guy.
  7. I guess people would be happier if he wrote "Stanford" on a list, because that is so edgy and shows grit.
  8. Is that yours dude? If it is awesome. If it isn't, still awesome. I've never left a three way disappointed my friend.
  9. So basically they went to California to work him out, but have not brought him in for a visit? BTW I appreciate the responses guys. That just stuck out to me.
  10. Ok honest question..why would the Bills fly out to California to go work Darnold out? He is visiting the Jets and Giants over the next couple of days and could have easily visited Buffalo as well. I just find it interesting that they flew all the way out there for him.
  11. Agreed! Bob Quinn there as a GM too, former Pats guy.
  12. Jordan Mills might let him get sacked, but it won't be on purpose.
  13. Beane's answer was money lol
  14. I feel like Darby has some on the low off field stuff as well with all the stuff with Jamies and such.
  15. ugg stupid questions about Richie
  16. I really do wish he was better at football. All the other stuff is on point.
  17. It's funny that Rosen might "divide a locker room." I don't think there are many Trump supporters in that room.
  18. Makes sense. I had not heard that about Star...maybe it was about his conditioning or something?
  19. It is a double standard. It seems as though our regime is okay with this type of thing because it is directly related to trying to get on the field and play better for the team. It is a character thing, but very different from a guy punching his wife in the face. I suppose that is the difference.
  20. If we are okay with PED guys I really hope we take a shot at Brian Cushing as a MIKE. Murphy, Odighizuwa, Palepoi, Kerley all PED suspended guys I believe.
  21. Kerley basically replaces Brandon Tate as a punt return guy and gives you more as a reciever. Palepoi adds a guy who can go door to door with Star spreading the word of Jesus. But yeah former teammate of Star, essentially replaces Cedric Thornton as a depth guy.
  22. All in on Rosen for me. I do like Darnold as well. I'd be okay with Josh Allen if he fell. Darnold has really grown on me over time and I understand the upside of Allen. I just hope they would make him sit at least one year. I don't like Mayfield for a ton of reasons, the off field stuff, the throat slash, the list, crotch grab are all too "look at me moves." On top of that he is short, comes from a spread offense etc. I have an extreme bias towards short quarterbacks and I am not afraid to admit it. The combination of those things make him untouchable in my mind. I feel he will be a cancer making excuses and blaming teammates. His BS sideshow is perfect for the Jets. He is way more "media driven selfish prick" Rosen than Rosen is. Not sure why people can't see that. If all else fails Jackson at 22 I could be sold on because of the immense upside. Drafting Rudolph in the first might make me break my TV.
  23. But he grew up a Jets fan Great fit for them if they take him.
