  1. Honestly imo this regime is going to turn the keys over to Josh Allen somewhere in weeks 6-8. Meaning either McCarron or Peterman would have started the first few games no matter what and then turned things over to Allen no matter what. They have a plan in place and I don't think they would stray from it. With that said I don't think we ever see AJ start a game here. His window has closed with this injury. JMO, and it's unfortunate, but I think it's what's going to happen. They will start Peterman by default and turn things over to Allen whenever they have plans to.
  2. I don't think this is unreasonable. This regime kept four tight ends last year and Daboll has kept multiple tight ends as an OC and in his NE days. I don't see any reason that they would not do it again.
  3. I think Murphy is looking like a main return guy and Kerley does that as well. I believe Gaines is a gunner and Andre Holmes, Lorax, Stanford, Vallejo, Humber, Lacey, Bush, Marlowe would be most of your core special teams guys. I think McCloud has a shot, but Murphy has passed him on the return depth chart imo.
  4. Ohh I like Kayvon Webster. He's a good player, can play zone or man. If he's healthy he could be a really nice depth piece.
  5. Ducasse is a serviceable backup. He should not be starting on this team. He's not the worst player ever. But he isn't good. I agree with most that I'd like to see Teller get a real shot at that spot. I'm still not sure why they never looked at Groy there next to Bodine.
  6. I think his size is a misconception. He looks small but he isn't. He's the same size as Charles Clay. He's shorter for a tight end, but most guys are 6-4, 6-5...O'Leary is 6-3. His arms are on the shorter size but I think he is fine size wise. You are are right though. He's more of a throwback and isn't going to give you any wow plays. Imo opinion, that's what you need out of your tight end #2. There is no way guys Croom and Thomas are better blockers. Taller and longer yes. I hope O'Leary stays.
  7. Jordan Palmer so he could continue to coach Allen. He's already done he Buffalo camp arm deal as well. He's only 34. I'm half kidding.
  8. Practice arm really. It depends on the severity of the injury to McCarron. If he has to IR you need another guy. Both are vet minimum guys so they should be cheap. It's not like there is huge competition for their services right now.
  9. Matt Moore and Derek Anderson are the guys who have played for Daboll, so I think they make the most sense.
  10. This reminds me...I wonder what Xavier Omon, Lionel Gates, and the A Train are doing. Oh and Shawn Bryson too.
  11. I still think Foster has a shot. He's just so athletic. I think he needs to show improvement in the passing game and needs to flash on special teams. I don't know how likely it is however, but I hope they can at least keep him around on the practice squad. At the end of the day, whoever makes the bottom of the reciever depth chart, be it Foster, Phillips, Reilly, probably isn't dressing on Sundays anyway.
  12. This guy is versatile and did some interesting things for the Hokies a couple of years ago. Also a former walk on. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-draft/2017/4/24/15295318/sam-rogers-los-angeles-rams-virginia-tech-fullback-2017-nfl-draft https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/08/15/bills-sign-fullback-sam-rogers/
  13. As long as Big Ben gets consent first, I'm good with it.
  14. I strongly dislike the idea of Matt Milano sitting for Ramon Humber. I really thought Humber was a huge liability last year and Milano was clearly the better player. I can't imagine what they are seeing that is allowing Humber to creep back into the conversation.
  15. He was just a guy, who loves the Patriots, who was very slow and really hurt us in the playoff game. I think he was awful and Edmunds is a huge upgrade. It's not even close. Preston will not be missed.
  16. I really hope it is McCarron. There is a lot of debate about how good Josh Allen will be and all that. I for one really like him. The one consistent thing, whether you like him or not, everyone pretty much agrees he needs some time. I really hope the staff excercises a bit of control and constraint and wait sa few games. Maybe it's 4, or maybe it is 8. He obviously has a by far some of the most talent I have ever seen, so I think they need to let it grow the right way. Just a few games on the bench will do him good while he works on some of the flaws in his game. I think the the problem is if he plays poorly and you have to bench him for one of those other guys, that's way worse for his developement. It's like Peterman starting in SD. When it his turn, it has stay his turn in my opinion.
  17. I still think we should take a shot at Troy Niklas. I can't believe the guy hasn't made it in the league. I'm shocked really. Seemed like a really safe bet to be successful.
  18. You see #47 doing anything? Jacob Hollister is a player I really like. He played with Josh Allen. Hoping he shakes loose but I'm thinking he is a lock for their roster.
  19. Jeez. You just can't make this stuff up. Unbelievable.
  20. I love this trade. Dude is a great fit opposite KB.
  21. Eh I'd call the Chargers. Maybe Phil McGeoghan wants his receiver back. Zay and John Miller (excelled for Anthony Lynn) for Forrest Lamp (2nd rounder coming off an ACL with huge upside) and something like Travis Benjamin (explosive return man who is slightly overpaid). Taking on the Benjamin contract nets you Lamp who, like Zay, is a 2nd round pick with potential, coming off injury, who hasn't proven it yet. Just food for thought.
  22. So I guess John Elway's iconic dive into the Super Bowl Endzone would not have been a touchdown? What are they thinking?
  23. My buddy had this problem last year and we found a work around that actually worked. Basically, when you sign up for directv you have to get clearance from your landlord, super, etc. My buddy was actually allowed to get directv in his building but told the company that his landlord refused to allow him to get directv. So they allowed him to sign up for the Sunday Ticket Online, even though his address was not eligible. Basically say you would like to sign up for directv but your landlord won't allow it...they won't know if you are a home owner or not. Anyway, hope this helps. Good luck.
  24. He's been mostly a 3-4 end in his career. But he can play some tackle and played it at Nebraska. If he's signed would be competition with guys like Palepoi, Fede and such.
