He's nothing special but was kind of ok for the Bears. As many pointed out, he threw a good amount of interceptions. But as a backup he makes some sense. He is a good dude and a big time Christian, so McDermott will love him.

Derek Anderson injury - in concussion protocol
MrEpsYtown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peterman did a good job of preparing for his inevitable destiny...from his Pitt Bio: earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee…received his MBA from Pitt’s Katz Graduate School of Business. So he is all set as he ventures to future endeavors. -
I'd be fine with it

Chris Canty is awesome on ESPN radio. He should be the color guy on MNF. His takes are intelligent, have depth and he is fun to listen to. He has great personality.

Bills playbook leaked on social media last night!
MrEpsYtown replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nate Hackett must have left that in his desk or something. -
Honestly, I think league perception is the KB and Clay are better than they are playing. And I think that is true. BB talked about how important it was to stop Charles Clay. Teams design their defenses to take away KB a lot of the time. So I think there is some value there. I dunno, I could be wrong, but that's what I think.

I get where you are coming from, but offenses and quarterbacks that would do more with KB than throw jump balls on go's, would probably get more out of him. He should be running more in breaking routes, digs, crossing routes, etc. He would do those things with Indy and Green Bay and would play with competent quarterbacks. A guy that big should be working the middle of the field, not running 9 routes on the outside. This is the same crap we saw with Sammy Watkins. He never ran any in breaking stuff or screens or any of that stuff. He was the go route guy. Now we see the impact he is having in KC because he is actually being used right. KB's been bad, but he also isn't being used properly.

KB I think. I hope Charles Clay goes at some point too. I still say, trade Clay and a pick or something to the tight end needy Chargers for Forrest Lamp, who is wasting away on their bench. KB I could see getting traded to the Colts or I think he would be a great fit for the Packers. I think Shady and Hughes stay, unless they get a king's ransom.

I never watch MNF, but wow what a terrible broadcast. Between the pregame stuff with the Applebees boneless wings to the awful announcing and the lack of real analysis. It was a cliche ridden broadcast that felt like a Key and Peele skit. Execute, give a 100%.

If Anderson is sidelined due to injury......
MrEpsYtown replied to longtimebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unfortunately, they would have to go with Peterman. If I am Anderson I am not feeling great about the decision to come back. He was not expecting to play and now he is getting his butt kicked and embarrassing himself. He probably should have stayed on the couch. Peterman sucks, but he gives the team a better chance to win than some guy off the street. -
He's terrible. Honestly I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt after the Chargers game. Chalk that up to jitters, trying to do too much. But he sucks. He's not an NFL quarterback and doesn't have the physical talent or upside that is worth developing.

QB Kyle Allen worked out for Bills
MrEpsYtown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This I like. Allen was a really highly recruited player with a ton of talent. He had t deal with some really crazy circumstances in college. Deals with drama at A&M, transfers to Houston to get a chance to throw the ball, sits out a year and coach leaves, so he gets stuck ina a quarterback as a runner offense. Anyway, cut Peterman and stick this guy on the practice squad. As an added bonus he is close with Josh Allen as they lived and trained together for the lead up to the draft under Jordan Palmer's tutelage. This is exactly the kind of guy you bring in to develop. -
I used to like Hue Jackson but he was not impressive during Hard Knocks. He was begging players and coaches to do things his way. I was not impressed. That said, I wish him luck.

Demaryius Thomas: Hypothetical
MrEpsYtown replied to BuffaloButt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not sure Thomas is a move that makes sense at the moment. He's owed a significant amount of money and is a bit on the older side. That said, he is leaps and bounds better than anyone we have. If you can get him cheap, then I am all for it. Denver should sell low so they can get out of the contract. -
I actually think there is a chance they re-assign Culley next year and hire Rob Chudzinski to work directly with Josh Allen. Maybe as an assistant head coach who just works with Josh. We never heard anything about Chudzinski being fired in Indy but he obviously doesn't work there anymore. I'm guessing he was asked to sit out a year and collect his paycheck.

FA 2019 - Who Should the Bills Target?

FA 2019 - Who Should the Bills Target?
MrEpsYtown replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For those talking about John Brown, we offered him a contract this year and he turned us down. Why would 2019 be any different? -
FA 2019 - Who Should the Bills Target?
MrEpsYtown replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know we feel good about the cap space next year, but I for one am not excited about what's available. Unless you can somehow get LeVeon Bell or JaDaveon Clooney or DeMarcus Lawrence...all of who, probably get the franchise tag...I think it's just plugging holes. That said if I'm plugging holes my wish list might look something like this: WR Chris Conley - big upside in my opinion RT Daryl Williams - Panther who plays tackle C Mitch Morse - a center TE Maxx Williams - big young interesting guy CB Eric Rowe - zone corner who can do a lot of things CB Jason Verett - buy low on a guy coming off injury I also think you take a shot on a receiver like Josh Gordon or Martavis Bryant. You badly need talent there and the free agent class isn't very interesting. Donte Moncrief makes sense as well, but I'd want a guy with number 1 upside. -
[Name Only Title] Wyatt Teller?
MrEpsYtown replied to Dave Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Teller likely needs work in pass protection at this point. But I like his potential and I still think they should give him a chance to play. Guys like Groy, Ducasse and Miller I think have a good chance of not being on this team next year. Go ahead and give Teller a chance to play. On another note, go trade for Forrest Lamp. He is healthy and ready to go and the Chargers just won't play him. Not sure why they are keeping him on the bench, but I do think there is a possibility of trade there. -
Report: Bills have discussed trading KB
MrEpsYtown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely not Papa Johns. I dont think KB is their type.
