  1. You start Allen 100%. But because we are the Bills, you guys know what is going to happen right? Allen will play like ? ? ? and everyone will be calling for Barkley again and now you have a quarterback controversy. What I saw from Barkley was some of the most efficient quarterbacking I have seen from a Bills quarterback in years (though Allen's game vs the Vikes was pretty ridiculous). So I think people on the Barkley side are saying, maybe we ride it out for a couple of games and see what we have with Matt. If he keeps winning, stay with him, and if he gets killed against the Jags, you turn back to Allen. I see the arguments on both sides.
  2. He looks like he just crop dusted the entire room. And feels good about it. ?
  3. The Jets should fire Todd Bowles and hire that hot blonde chick who was walking behind him all game.
  4. There is a lesson in there though. All year it looked like Daboll was trying to be too cute. They shortened the playbook for Barkley and kept it somewhat simple and this the result. Everyone played a million times better. So keep it simple, especially when Allen gets back in there.
  5. I tend to agree. I saw simple football, tackling, blocking, running good routes, and a quarterback taking what the defense was giving and taking shots when they were there. I am am a big X's and O's guy, but you are correct. Simple concepts with everyone doing their job. The offense looked New England esque, which is what I was expecting with Daboll. Their concepts are simple, but they do them really well. We saw that for the first time today in my opinion.
  6. I liked what I saw from Wallace. To be fair, Gaines was maybe missed in run support a bit, I thought Levi played soft there. But coverage wise you can't compare. I'm excited to see Wallace play over the next few weeks. And since we we are talking dbs, it is amazing how good Tre'davious is.
  7. So true. I'm curious if it's just a Bills thing or does every fan base do this?
  8. See I don't think this is a big deal. Allen and Anderson got hurt and Nathan Peterman might be the worst quarterback of all time. If if we started 4 guys because we couldn't figure out who the guy is, I'd be worried. Obviously we know Josh Allen is the guy. And he happens to be hurt.
  9. It makes sense to rest him now so that he is ready to go and fresh for the playoffs. It it also gives them a chance to take a look at Jacob Hollister.
  10. Me too but he's been bad. A huge liability when he is in there on defense and he's been bad on special teams as well. There are a million younger, cheaper, faster backup WILL linebackers on the street. They should have kept Tanner Vallejo who is doing some good work for the Browns special teams units. Hopefully, they decide to give Corey Thompson a look on special teams at the very least.
  11. Eh I'm fine with this. Peterman is awful and Barkley has been around. He could be a solid backup. He was probably going to be the #2 in Cincy until he got hurt. Peterman is not an NFL quarterback.
  12. Honestly, if Peterman is so bad that he gets leapfrogged by Barkley, he needs to be off the team. I actually like Barkley as a backup quarterback, but he shouldn't be starting over Peterman in this situation, unless Peterman is THAT bad...in which case Peterman needs to go bag groceries.
  13. I just want to mention in here that Dak Prescott is very average. The minute they tried to make him into a true NFL quarterback, he's shown he isn't great. His first year was all about simple concepts. Now Dallas is in a weird spot because there is no 5th year option and they kind off have to pay him. This might become Redskins-Cousins all over again. If you are going to get a quarterback, take him high.
  14. I was at that Thursday game sitting in the end zone and all I remember is Tyrod missing a thousand open recievers and McCown making plays on third down. He made some great plays in critical situations, running and throwing. It was annoying from what I remember. I probably remember it being way worse than it was. My buddy lost a bet and had to wear a Laverneus Coles jersey on a walk of shame through the parking lot.
  15. In that way yes it does.
  16. This actually hurts us. McCown made our defense look like swiss cheese last year.
  17. He will never be a capable backup. A capable backup has to come in and not throw away the game. A turnover prone guy like him is totally worthless in this league. He is done. When you have no talent, you need to be precise. He is not. He has neither. It's not ignorant and I agree. But this isn't a great draft this year with just two really elite talents in Oliver and Bosa. I think you want to get into the three to have a shot at one.
  18. This is a game we may win because of Darnold's tendency to throw really bad picks. Our defense could win this game, even if Peterman plays. If Allen plays, I really do think we win it.
  19. Makes a ton of sense to reunite with Dan Quinn. They are apparently a bit unhappy with Vic Beasley as well. Great fit for Irvin.
  20. They signed Dontae Johnson to take a look at him. He was terrible and released. I suppose they were giving Gaines the look since he earned it in the off season and was healthy. Pitts dresses because he is a core special teams guy. I agree, Lewis looked pretty good in action and now we will see him playing again.
  21. He had prolific college career, racking up tons of all purpose yards. He's better and younger than Marcus Murphy. Still just 25 years old, there is potential there. He got jerked around in Detroit. Some team like Philly or NE will sign him and they will look like geniuses.
  22. Interesting guy the Patriots just cut. Cole Croston, who is one of those Iowa offensive lineman who can play guard and tackle. They have kept him on their roster for a while. Might be worth a look.
  23. Peterman is bad, obviously he isn't in a great situation, but this is pretty funny stuff. He seems like a nice guy and all, but he deserves all the backlash he is getting. I feel bad for him for sure, but if he doesn't want this kind of thing to happen, then he needs to play better. It's as simple as that. McDermott should be brought up on charges of abuse and neglect for continuing to throw NP out there when he clearly can't play.
