  1. I dont mind this. Honestly, and I'm totally speculating, but Hall probably had a good amount to do with Foster's development. Foster being on the practice squad and such, he probably did not get a huge amount of tutelage from Robiskie, whose job focuses more on the starters. It's likely Hall who was working with Foster the majority of the time as he developed.
  2. I do think that Taylor and Little will go before Williams when it is all said and done becuase he's meh and those guys have way more potential. I also do not think there is any way the Lions pass on Devin White. I would hate an offensive guy in the top ten of this draft.
  3. Yep sounds about right. I can't see us passing on defensive talent for lackluster ofnsive talent. D Brown is the defensive tackle from Auburn Derrick Brown. I think he's right up there with some of those guys. And I also didn't know that he announced hat he's going back to school. So I have to take him off my list. ?‍♂️
  4. None of the offensive players belong. Bosa Q. Williams Allen Oliver White J. Simmons C. Ferrell D. Brown R. Gary C. Wilkins J. Polite M. Sweat Greedy Williams Deionte Thompson Something like that in my mind. All of those guys are better than any of the offensive players.
  5. He would have definitely been a draftable prospect if he didn't have that injury. There is a little pedigree there. I like his potential.
  6. I remember seeing Wingard flying all over the field while studying Josh Allen games. The dude is an interesting prospect for safety depth and has beautiful hair.
  7. I know it's the dreaded Panthers connection, but My first target would be Ricky Proehl. Not sure he would want to leave his business endeavors to do it. Another guy I think would be interesting is Wes Welker. He was a great route runner and is well versed in the offensive system. He just spent a year on the Texans staff as an offensive assistant. He's young, but makes a lot of sense. Shawn Jefferson formerly of the Dolphins is another interesting, youngish former NFL player. He's credited with a lot of Jarvis Landry's development. Jerricho Cotchery is an assistant receiver coach for the Panthers. Another youngish coach who had a successful NFL career despite having little talent. He succeeded by running good routes and catching the ball. He also played for Beane and McDermott, and Brian Daboll when he coached on the Jets staff. I like the the idea of guys who were former NFL players who had successful careers, despite not being supremely talented. They are typically good at teaching the positional nuances needs to be successful.
  8. I like him a lot as well. You know what's crazy is between Daboll, Rob Boras, and now Bobby Johnson we have tight end experts on staff yet we can't find one. I hope they find a way to target Hockenson.
  9. If I'm the Bills I go after Daryl Williams as a starter at right tackle and add a guy like Josh Wells as the swing guy. Wells has played a good amount of left tackle over the years in Jacksonville. Mills as a backup is fine, but I'd worry about him as a swing guy if he actually had to go in a game as a left tackle.
  10. There is some value in a guy who can play all five offensive line positions. Typically it allows you to dress an extra guy at another position in game day. I'm fine with it. Hopefully he has an uphill battle to make the 53 becuase we add a bunch of good players.
  11. One thing I have mentioned, and I think I did in this thread somewhere, is that I think Williams could be a really good center. He's got great technique etc, but is bad against speed rushes and gets overpowered at times. This really isn't as much of a problem inside. He is also very smart and has great intangibles. I think he's a center. I'd be willing to draft him in a trade down and I would make him my center.
  12. Ive felt this way for a while now. He'd be a huge reach and the amount of talent you'd pass on in terms of defensive linemen would makes this pick even more ludicrous. Never draft non elite linemen in the top ten. Never!
  13. The one thing that I will say in Frazier' defense is that the players absolutely love him. He is a well respected Tony Dungy disciple. I think he just needs to be a bit more aggressive like they were in the Miami game.
  14. Their biggest issue is going to find 4-3 defensive ends. They don't really have any on the roster. But the rest of their personnel, Williamson, Williams, Lee, Adams etc fit nicely
  15. I gotcha. I don't think Phillips is going to cost too much, but I may be wrong. McCoy should get a reasonable deal.
  16. Gerald McCoy had his best seasons playing the 3 tech in Leslie Frazier's 4-3 defense. Just saying.
  17. Not sure I agree with that. They play very different positions and Phillips is a depth player. He isn't a full time starter. McCoy is a great player and he's just 30 years old. You could easily sign both. I'd rather draft Williams. Oliver, Simmons, Wilkins, but I would take McCoy in a heartbeat.
  18. Pretty much the only good thing to come out of the Rex Ryan regime. Maybe Shady too.
  19. He has to let Tredavious smash him in the back of his neck. We can sign Preston Brown to a 1 day contract so he can stand there and do nothing. Then Gronk can join the team.
  20. I think it's a fair concern, but I will say that he was working with a lot of young players in 2015. Shaq Mason and Tre Jackson were rookies. Cam Fleming was young. David Andrews was a rookie I believe and he was awful. And Nate Solder got hurt early. I think it's a blip on his career, but it would not concern me going forward. He seems to be what the line here need and he's likely to be in lock step with Daboll. He is not a Vlad Ducasse guy either. When he was with the Jets there was some internal conflict because the higher ups were making him play Ducasse over Slauson.
  21. I like the idea of a young guy with some fresh ideas, who was a special teams captain in his career and won a super bowl with some dynamic special teams. I like this. He also played for Leslie Frazier when he was the DC in Minnesota. So this is more of a Frazier connection than it is a Panthers connection.
  22. Dave DeGugielmo is old school and abrasive. He is the anti Castillo and he is exactly what this line needs. He wouldn't stand for a guy like Dawkins getting comfortable. But the guys who play for him love him as he gives them a bit of rough edge. Cool article: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2018/09/21/how-dave-deguglielmo-has-brought-indianapolis-colts-offensive-line-together/1370061002/ Now I don't know if he brings Glowinski, but his guy is Matt Slauson. He's been his guy for a while and would fit nicely between Mitch Morse and Dawkins. I like him because he is the complete opposite of Castillo. He also has some insight into how the Colts gashed our defense in embarrassing fashion. I really want a return to a power running game.
  23. We should be all over this one I think.
  24. Future intercontinental champion I'm guessing. His promos will be cringe worthy. Chris Masters esque. Aaron Hernandez was not available.
  25. It's because they didn't have a quarterback. Quarterback, scheme, defense in that order. Everyone else are role players, running backs, linemen, receivers.
