  1. Our GM cannot be concerned about who is banging who and baby momma drama. Screw that and all the instagram BS. This isn't high school, he's trying to build a winner.
  2. I think we are getting a bit too crazy guys. Brown would have been the best offensive weapon the Bills have had in 20 years, with apologies to Shady. Giving him a massive extension probably did not make sense, and that may be where Beane backed out. The Bills showed aggression by going after him. This is a good thing. We should not now say how he is old and he sucks because the trade did not happen. Some people were saying this from the beginning. This is the wrong take. Whether you hate him or love him, Brown is awesome and an explosive football player. My gut tells me, that if the Steelers really struggle to move him, they could potentially circle back around. Probably unlikely, but you never know. Brown certainly would have made the offense more potent and helped Josh Allen. At the same time, his presence had the potential to hinder Josh Allen's development because he would likely be pressured to feed Brown the ball. The E-P system is all about complimentary routes and combinations. That is why you see a Patriots guy have 12 catches one week and 2 the next. Who gets the ball is predicated on how the defense plays those combinations. Brady has mastered this, and reading the defense, and that is why the ball is out so quick. Josh Allen is the star of this team and is the offensive weapon. We need to surround him with complimentary pieces, at the same time, Brown would have been fine here and the offensive would have been explosive. Brown was a walk on at Central Michigan, a sixth round pick playing in Pittsburgh for years. I find it hard to believe he would simply refuse to go to Buffalo. All WR are divas and his blonde mustache is stupid, but this guy is a great football player and I think he would have fit in fine here. At the same time, he could have possibly been a cancer, but I doubt it. Beane and McDermott want to win. The clean process stuff is overrated and over done. There are PED guys on the team, Shady has his shady side, Dawkins had an arrest and assault, Zay had his cray cray naked, drugged up thing goin on. They want football players who will buy into team and work their butts off. From all accounts, Brown works his ass off and loves playing football. Big Ben is a giant rapist douche. He is the cancer, and Brown looks like an ass for calling him out because no one is getting his back.
  3. The one thing we know is that Beane is willing to pursue a veteran reciever va trade. Does OBJ make sense? Julio or AJ Green? or lower tier guys like Allen Robinson?
  4. I know we are worried about compensation, but Brown will be, by far, the best offensive in Buffalo for like the last 20 years. I just hope we didn't give up our first. Anything outside of that is great.
  5. You are 100% right here. David Bahktiari, 4th round, Shaq Mason 4th, Jason Kelce 6th, Marshal Yanda 3rd, Alejandro Villanueva UDFA...There are a few top linemen picked in the top ten, but some of the best come from all over the place. We we are all salivating over Paradis 6th, Morse 2nd, Spain UDFA, Saffold 2nd. Gotta draft better and find the right people.
  6. I think you are getting a pretty good player with Taylor, and I think Williams could be a very good interior linemen. I wouldn't take either at 9. If you pick them, you are passing on elite defensive talent, and I think filling holes and settling is the worst way to draft. I would never draft a non elite offensive linemen in the top ten of a draft.
  7. it appears to be only unrestricted free agents.
  8. Peters had off the field stuff and Darby was kind of under the radar with off the field stuff as well. Both have been traded already. Johnson went a few picks higher than projected, but he was thought of as a mid to late first round pick. The Maybin thing wasn't that it was a massive reach, the Bills just looked dumb becuase Orakpo was clearly better.
  9. It shouldn't be but it probably will be. Pouncey is way better and has been more durable over the years. I think this is the upper end limit of what Paradis and Morse should get.
  10. There has been a sudden push on this board the last couple of days from some posters to re-sign Mills and Miller. Perhaps it's a cousin or agent on here or something. Not sure what the hell is going on, but neither of those guys should be back. They are both awful.
  11. I understand what you are saying, but it doesn't get much more disastrous than putting Mills out there.
  12. I think it's one of those assumed things. If a tight end sucks and can't catch, it's assumed he is a good blocker and that is typically wrong. This does not just happen with Clay, it happens everywhere. It's like the White defensive end...of course he is high motor, grinder, lunch pail, unathletic. Usually just assumed things.
  13. Yeah my I initial thought was Miami. They are going to suck anyway so Allen can rack up some stats while helping Flores establish his culture with the team ala Mike Tolbert.
  14. I want to trade Zay Jones to the Chargers for Forrest Lamp and sign Crowder to be my slot guy. Carolina liked him pre-draft as well. He was in their backyard.
  15. John Miller is one of the worst guards in the league and one of the worst I have ever seen play. Like "Colin Brown replacing Andy Levitre" bad. He will not be back.
  16. What about Aaron Hernandez? Oh wait...
  17. As a receiver, he was more productive than Charles Clay last year.
  18. Oh lord that seems a bit high. Perhaps they are planning to expand his role? He does double as a fullback, but split time with Maxx Williams, Andrews, and Hirsch. I think he has some upside as a receiver, but kinda yuck. I'm curious what the guaranteed number is, and I think Jesse James certainly gets more.
  19. I actually liked a lot of what I saw from Teller, and honestly I liked what I saw from Ike Boettger in the small sample. Here's the thing though, Ryan Groy and Jordan Mills suck and Dion Dawkins struggled. I think, if you put better players around these guys, we will see better play. But Teller is athletic and really strong and should have been drafted higher than the fifth round. He was a steal there. He is a better prospect than I think a lot of people think. I think he would go in the third round in this draft class, as there are only a handful of guards I like better. That said he is a work in progress. I see this offseason going one of two ways 1. Sign a center like Paradis or Morse and a RT like Williams or James. Having those two guys on the line would set you up with Teller and Long as you guards with a guy like Boettger competing. 2. Sign a guard like Saffold or Quentin Spain and a RT like Williams or James. What that does is forces you to go with Bodine or Long at center and puts Teller/Boettger/draft pick in a three way competition for the right guard spot. It isn't ideal, but playing next to a better RT would help. Obviously you could draft a guy, or trade for a guy like Forrest Lamp. Ideally, you sign Morse/Paradis, Saffold/Spain, and Williams/James, and trade for Forrest Lamp but I am not sure how realistic it is to get a center, guard, and RT in free agency. That would put Teller/Lamp/Long/Boettger/Draft pick in a competition for the RG spot, which is a really good place to be. Dream scenario is getting a center, guard and RT. Something like: LT - Dawkins LG - Saffold/Spain C - Morse/Paradis RG - Lamp/Long/Teller/Boettger RT - James/Williams
