  1. I do think it is possible that they have gone out of their way to keep their meeting with him secret. I think he is the kind of guy in this draft that you hide your interest in. No one seems to really know where he is going to go because no one has tipped their hand in terms of interest in him. That keeps people from trading up in front of you to get him and that Detroit at 8 is prime position for a trade up. I think Oliver or Sweat are the pick, if they aren't there Hock or Metcalf. I'm thinking one of those four, idk. It's also possible this regime is all in on Metcalf or Hock. If they draft a right tackle or Dillard I will be very dissapointed
  2. I agree with this. And honestly he threw the ball a good amount to his tight end Jacob Hollister during his junior year. Having all of that speed on the outside with Brown and Foster should open things up underneath for the tight end and Beasley. Defenses cant cover everything and spy Josh Allen.
  3. Some people really hate this. Just as much as they will hate Them taking a corner in the first again ?
  4. I think that's a great question, but I have to say I'd rather have Oliver and Ferguson.
  5. Hockenson is a better run blocker than Dillard is imo.
  6. There are some inbred mutant Jets fans who live around the area.
  7. NYC in the fall is amazing. East Rutherford, New Jersey? Not so much. It always sucks there.
  8. I tend to agree. If Oliver is gone, I really hope we go in this direction. I will throw a tantrum if we take a RT or Andre Dillard. I'd much rather take a shot on a guy like this.
  9. I gotta ask the draft gurus out there, but what's the difference between Metcalf and former third round pick Chris Conley? I know DK is about ten pounds heavier. Conley had better college production, a better vertical, 4.35 40, great three cone. Both had some inconsistencies in their game. I thought it was funny when DK said the league has never seen anybody like him, and I immediately thought of Conley. I'm just wondering what makes 1 a top ten pick and the other a third rounder? It's not like that 2015 class had a bunch of unbelievable receievers in it. In fact that draft kind of sucked overall. I liked Conley in free agency and I think Metcalf is interesting, I just want to know what the difference is. I'm a line guy so I need some help from my skill people.
  10. Not the worst idea. He's super strong and has a strong punch, but his footwork and things need work. If he isn't going to make he team as a guard it's worth a shot. I do think he ultimately makes it as a backup though.
  11. So that Thanksgiving game is supposed to be a NFL 100 homage to those 90s Super Bowls. I think it would be pretty cool if we got to wear 90s throwbacks, red helmets and all.
  12. I think a sleeper pick for the Bills is Byron Murphy. He's not a sleeper pick per se, because he is likely a first rounder, but I do think he is tailor made for the defense here. It would anger a lot of people if we took a pcorner that high, but Murphy across from White would be mighty tempting. I don't think he's a target at nine, but he could be in a trade down, or in a trade up from 40 if Murphy falls into the 20s. Just my 2 cents.
  13. What's with all the new posters crapping all over everyone's takes? I guess its draft time.
  14. David Sills!
  15. Sports news Buffalo are also the people who reported that there is a contract of 14 million per year on the table for Ansah. You guys want Ansah at 14 million over Clark or Clowney at 20 and draft pick compensation. I'd much rather Clark or Clowney.
  16. He's a good player but not sure what he has left. We should compare the posts in this thread to the posts at trade deadline time. At that time a lot of people wanted him and we was amazing. Now he sucks. Interesting.
  17. Yeldon was coached by Kelly Skipper for the majority of his career. I think he is an interesting guy who could thrive in Daboll's offense, as the James White type. I dunno. I'm good with it. He's better than anything in the draft this year not named Jacobs.
  18. So with Clark there is the Morgan connection and I like Clark a lot. Heath Farwell would also know him well. With th the Texans, their general manager Brian Gaine was here with the Bills under Brandon Beane. So there is a close relationship there and negotiations can probably be made quite easily becuase there is an element of trust. We also have John Butler on staff, and while he was the DB coach with the Texans, he would obviously know Clowney very well, would know his character in the locker room and see how he worked each day in practice. I do think Clowney would have a huge breakout in a 4-3 with much less responsibility. I'd take either one in a heartbeat.
  19. Duke Williams wearing 82. Apparently Gelber is snooping around the locker room.
  20. I think there are teams out there, like Atlanta and Tampa who would really like having Shaq, so I do think he has some trade value. But I do like the strides he's made. I think it really depends on how the rest of the offseason goes.
  21. That Jones pick really sticks out. Seems a bit crazy, but he must have gotten some sniffs that the Giants really like Jones, and maybe a team like Cincy as well, maenaing the Giants have to take him at 6 if they want him. Who knows?
  22. Perhaps a Paul Heyman with a massive cordless phone?
