  1. Yeah they needed to use their cap space on Nick Boyle.
  2. Holy mole that's a lot of cheese. But Mosely is freakin awesome. Barr not so much, but Mosely is great. Still not worried about the Jets.
  3. Yeah Josina knows her stuff. She seems pretty connected.
  4. It's the PFF stuff. I don't love the way they grade linemen honestly. I think a lot of it is misleading and skewed. It's an interesting system, but it is flawed in some areas. I use the good old eye test, which is also flawed, but I trust myself more and I've thought Morse was better for a while.
  5. Anybody seeing any updates from that guy saying we were making a trade?
  6. I don't think I can afford to donate 81 dollars to whatever his cause is. ?
  7. I would not give Hightower too much credit, Morse was getting taken out low by Clayborn as he was sliding for the tackle. Also that's a dirty hit from Hightower. F him.
  8. Seems high but honestly this contract doesn't bother me much considering what Trent Brown got. James is better imo.
  9. I think he has to be because he is coming off injury, but I would say not much cheaper. I just hope we don't wind up with like Ereck Flowers Outside the box thought, but in theory you could sign Rodger Saffold to be your right tackle. He has a ton of experience at tackle and spent some time on the right side as well. Not ideal, but could be something they look at. This is merely my speculation.
  10. I for one really like Chris Conley. Ridiculous athlete and great team guy and a big target. I think he still has a ton of upside. His combine numbers were pretty much on par with DK Metcalf, 4.35 vs 4.33 and 18 reps vs 27. But he's an inch shorter and had a better vert, broad, 20 yard, three cone etc. He was also more productive than Metcalf in college. He's been the 4-5th option in KC and I think he has a ton of untapped potential and I think he's ready to break out if he's has an opportunity for more targets. He isn't a big name, but I like him a lot.
  11. lol at least he ain't goin after the guy's wife.
  12. Yep you were on Kroft from the beginning. I appreciate your analysis.
  13. With that salary structure, you could probably add another tight end with a similar deal and kind of keep the one that winds up being better after a years.
  14. I still don't understand why Dante Fowler took a one year deal. With the lack of edge guys, he would have made some cash no? I mean 14 million is nothing to sneeze at, but I feel like he would have got a massive deal today.
  15. I hear that. I go to a lot of clinics and things so I'm constantly studying. I've been coaching offensive and defensive line for 12 years now. It's kind of sad that I watch the line on sundays lol. Morse does a ton of communicating on the line. He's got great feet and technique and he's super smart. He's also played with a lot of scrub UDFAs and such at guard over the years and they have always been effective. The fact that they have cycled so many guards in and out from injuries I think shows how much he makes the line better.
  16. Thats why you have nerds like me on the board. This is a great signing.
  17. No way if they get CJ Mosley I will be a little upset. Not sure why the Colts wouldn't go all in on Mosley.
  18. He's Charmin soft. I didn't want him and I'm glad he went to the Jets. I think he just lines up at 4-3 Sam for Greg Williams.
  19. I still think the Vikings and Cardinals could be in on Paradis, but I have zero proof of that. I would be happy if the Jets get left out and wind up trading for Daniel Kilgore.
  20. They used Bodine at guard a bit in preseason. I think he can play both. We still need a right tackle, but if Teller and Long are starters, we are looking at a bench of Bodine, Boettger, Sirles. Obviously that is not ideal, but you need to have a backup who can snap and that should not be your starting guard, which is where I think Long winds up.
  21. Imo if Spencer Long is going to be a starting guard, Bodine should stay. But if we upgrade the guard position then Bodine is probably gone.
  22. I still think we can upgrade Teller, but playing next to Morse instead of Ryan Groy will really elevate the play of Teller.
  23. Im such an offensive line nerd (HS coach, been doing it 12 years, played center for 8). I study guys I like as if I'm watching game tape. The guy is awesome. Pretty much all I was watching during that game was Morse and that's why I've been spamming this board with his name for a couple of months. I'm not technically an expert, but I know some stuff and that dude can play. I wanted him since draft time so I kind of followed his career a bit and I really feel great about this signing.
  24. Well Ryan Hewitt is also available and doubles as a full back.
  25. I like James a bit better, but this guy is faster and probably a bit more athletic. What we are getting here is a big time red zone target and think there is more upside there. I still think we need to add to this position, but this is a good start. I'd still go after a Jeff Heurman, AJ Derby, or Maxx Williams, but Kroft is interesting.
