  1. Guessing they try to re-sign Chris Hogan, sign Jordy Nelson or Nick Williams, or try to draft David Sills or Andy Isabella.
  2. Nah I have a standing Buffalo T on. My Bills thong is in the was.
  3. Moving up a few spots for the Jets was a massive overpay. I'm sure they don't regret it, as they got their guy, but their roster still sucks and they have less ammunition to help out their quarterback. But I agree, both teams and fan bases are happy with their picks. But we have ten picks this year and they have 6, and no second rounder. After picking #3, they don't have another pick until the third. They have a second third rounder for Teddy Bridgewater, but that's closer to a 4th rounder. So the move was kind of short sighted and they basically paid double.
  4. He's an interesting prospect and thanks for the video. It's a little too much boom or bust for me, but with the way free agency has gone, at this point a Metcalf pick really wouldn't bother me to much. My fear is that you might be passing on some elite defensive players to take Metcalf.
  5. This is exactly what I was going to type here. The Jets move was a pretty big overpay to move just a few spots. When teams overpay like that it really skews the market.
  6. Nah man, I knew exactly who he was. Started a bunch of games over the years, and he did a nice job in his time with the Lions. Mills has proven to be a turnstile and McDermott hasn't done anything. So out of those three, Waddle is certainly the best.
  7. Eh he still can't throw a pass to a guy five yards away without it fluttering. Guy sucks, it doesn't matter what offense he plays in or what quarterback whisperer takes him on. He blows.
  8. I saw a thing that suggested Raiders. I'm sure he'll get along with A.B. Whose head he tried to take off in that playoff game the Bungles blew.
  9. I'm guessing no say whatsoever. A lot of cooks in that kitchen with Coughlin, David Caldwell and Chris Polian.
  10. I'm guessing Cook wants a lot of money coming off his career year. But he's older and he can't block. It appears that guys like Kroft, James are the ones getting paid in free agency because they can do both and are still young. I don't like Croom, but he is essentially a younger, MUCH cheaper version of Cook. His career has been up and down and he racked up some stats on a terrible team and he made that one huge catch for the Packers that time. I've always been very eh on Cook and I'm guessing teams have as well becuase no one has committed to him.
  11. This is pretty much what we had with Whaley and Marrone. Wasn't there a story where Marrone was super pissed we traded up for Watkins or something?
  12. Whiffner certainly tackled like he only had one eye.
  13. I actually love this idea. He brings a veteran presence and could be a nice pick, kicking into a 3 tech.
  14. I just keep coming back to Bob Babich. If Tremaine is the guy he wanted, then I really can't question it. The guys he has developed over the years, including HOF Brian Urlacher is hard to argue with. Plus you have Lance Briggs, Telvin Smith, Denzel Perryman. he also helped Melvin Ingram make huge leaps and strides when he looked like a bust and made Poz into a pretty impressive MIKE. Gotta trust Babich on this one. Add in the Brain Trust of McDermott and Frazier, you basically have like 75 years of coaching experience that hand picked this guy.
  15. All I know is that my Madden team is a lot better now.
  16. I LOVE Devin White. I really do. The one thing I will say here, is that drafting White, the majority of a game is played in nickel and dime defenses. So that means that Milano, Edmunds, or White would only play about 50% of the defensive snaps. Now you could play a big nickel and use Milano as that nickel guy. Now I liek Milano's coverage ability, but I don't want him matched up in the slot with a reciever. Also, that means that you are essentially taking Taron Johnson off the field. In order to avoid being too long winded, drafting White makes Milano, Edmunds, or White a two down player. Now I do think Edmunds can rush teh passer at the end spot. He was projected to be a 3-4 OLB. If they were going to use Tremaine that way, I'd be for it. All that said, there is a precedent here. The Panthers drafted Shaq Thompson in the first round when they already had Kuechly and Davis and he was essentially a two down player until last year. It's a nice way to develop a young guy, but I don't love it when you have 3 young studs.
  17. This is one, and I don't say this often but there is absolutely zero chance for him here. Maybe the Jets, seems like a Greg Williams kind of guy. I could see the Ravens too. I guess he and Matt Barkley kind of have a relationship...
  18. I think the key here, in my mind anyway, is that Morse is the better player. Beane also wanted a bigger body, which Paradis does not provide. Obviously PFF says one thing, but Morse is better across the board. I think the PFF stuff is cool, but I don't put too much weight on it. I don't know that I expected Morse to get more money than Paradis, but I'm not surprised.
  19. I mentioned him in one of my million spaghetti throwing posts lol! But I got Mitch Morse so I'm good!
  20. I am guessing they just don't want to tie up to much money in the defensive line, with Bosa coming up on the 5th year option. Who knows? They probably think that they can plug anybody into their system and get production.
  21. They really are in a tough spot. They have no cap space., but they have a nice roster outside of their o-linemen. They are in win now mode. They are paying two starting corners over nine million and they have a 90 million dollar quarterback. They are ripe to be taken advantage of.
  22. Eifert re-signed with the Bungles, but there some interesting tight ends left on the market
  23. Makes a ton of sense for him to go to the Rams as a rotational pass rush guy.
