  1. See I like Lindstrom, but I don't think that his upside or ability is really higher than Wyatt Teller's. I think their prospect level is similar, I just think Lindstrom is a more refined player while Teller is a bit more raw. Their game is similar. I wouldn't mind drafting him in the second, but I don't think you have to becuase that guy is already on your team imo.
  2. Hes a loser. It's petty. You would think that he had better things to do.
  3. Ethan I respect your opinion, but man you defend Jon Miller, Jordan Mills, and Danny Crossman? You are certainly on your own island my friend. Crossman was terrible and if the guys on your squad are committing lots of penalties, it's becuase your scheme sucks or you aren't teaching proper technique. It's a coache's job to get the best out his players, and that is why Crossman and Castillo are gone. Crossman got hired by a tanking team to help the tank and Castillo has no job.
  4. Morse heals all of that. He's the glue, the anchor, the master communicator. It didn't matter who came in at guard next to him in KC. It was a revolving door of guys, but he made it work. We are all in for a real treat to watch his guy go to work.
  5. I'll stir it. Trade White to the 49ers as part of a trade up for Bosa. Oh no he didn't! ? McDermott can make a good corner out of anybody. ?
  6. I think they keep 9 guys, but right now it's too early to say what the final version will look like. As I've said before here, I believe in Wyatt Teller and believe he will win the starting left guard job, unless of course we sign Quinton Spain. I do not believe Teller would get through waivers to the practice squad. We lost Ike Boettger for a few weeks, and lost Adam Redmond trying to sneak them through. Teller doesn't get through. I though he played well as a starter and his combine numbers are really good. He's super strong, good three cone, broad etc. His arms are longer than most guards (and longer than some of the talked about tackles in this year's draft). Teller can play and people are sleeping on him. He was one of the top defensive line recruits in the country for a reason, and though he has a ton of experience, conversion guys like he and Dion Dawkins are a bit more raw and take a little longer. As of right now, and obviously this is very likely to change: Dawkins Teller Morse Long Nsekhe Feliciano Waddle Bodine Sirles I give the last spot to Sirles becuase he can play all five positions on the line. Though if I were choosing, I'd keep Ike Boettger. Waddle can play guard and tackle. Feliciano can play guard and center. Bodine can play guard and center. I have Long at right guard because I believe that this is his best position and I think he is better than Feliciano, who does not have near the upside of Long or Teller. I think he is the perfect interior backup. I keep Bodine for now, and though he isn't great, I do think he carries some trade value with the lack of competent centers in the league. I think it is important that you have a natural backup center, so you aren't moving Andy Levitre there in the middle of the game.
  7. I think it makes a ton of sense as a connection. I'm guessing #9, #40, 2020 second. Maybe some players like Zay Jones and Trent Murphy. I'd do it. If I could get to #2 to get Bosa or Williams without giving up my 2020 #1 I'd do it 100 percent.
  8. Same. He's my favorite quarterback in this draft.
  9. They will go best defensive player available. I hope we jump the Jets and steal Bosa so that the Jets will be "furious" about our trade up.
  10. Obviously the Alexander and Roberts signingshelp in that regard, but there is definitely more work to do.
  11. I wonder where all those Jets fans who were on here a few weeks ago went? I haven't seen them around much.
  12. I think you can get the best of both worlds, where you can overload one side with extra tackles and put Fisher on the backside to block as a tackle. He's probably goodenough to seal the backside, you get a strong backside run lane, and you basically get tackle eligible on both sides, with the guy opposite Fisher declaring.
  13. Thank you! Having an eligible number allows you to move that glorified tackle in Fisher around more. You can overload one side and have Fisher play a wing off the ball. Basically, you can play him off the ball and shift him and things of that nature. You can also run balanced formations with Fisher on one side and a tackle as the tight end on the other, which gives you strong running looks both ways, but also gives you the ability to have tackle eligible plays away from Fisher. You have an eligible tackle who does not have to declare as eligible. You can do do stuff like the Patriots did and hide Fisher as a tackle even though he is a tight end. The Patriots fooled the Ravens becuase they only had four linemen in the game with seven skill position players. Though the tight end, hidden as the left tackle was the eligible receiver and the slot player was not. So you can have looks like that, but with Fisher's tackle experience, you would still have a strong threat to run the ball as well.
  14. He had some injuries and when he did play he was not great. Maybe he just isn't happy, but a smallish tackle could make for a really good blocking tight end.
  15. It's not as much of a red flag for Taylor because Dillard has short arms. Also Taylor shows a ton of power in his game on film, where Dillard does not. His bench should be better. His arms are shorter than Jonah Williams, who everyone is calling T Rex. Also Dillard's three cone is not as good as Dion Dawkins, who happens to have much longer arms, and everyone wants to make a guard for some reason. Dillard is Jake Fisher. Look at their combine numbers. Again a finesse, spread tackle with short arms. All pretty much the same, except Fisher had an elite three cone time, and has longer arms.
  16. So I think Fisher is interesting, but we can't bank on anything yet. McDermott seems to love DiMarco. That said I wouldn't hesitate to replace him with younger guys with upside. Michael Burton, formerly of the Bears and Lions has been one of the better fullbacks in the league over the past 3-4 years and he's currently a free agent. He would be a huge upgrade. Just turned 27 and is a former teammate of Tyler Kroft at Rutgers. Dan Vitale has been floating around the league. In fact we claimed him at one point and waived him becuase a failed physical or something. He was the Super back at Northwestern and is only 25. I think he has some untapped potential as a blocker and receiver. He would also become the fastest player in the running back room. He kind of reminds me of Zach Line, who got the ball a lot in college and took a while to develop into a great fullback. Vitale is going through that transition right now, but there is upside here.
  17. I really like Long. He played a ton of right guard at Nebraska and played a bit of right guard for the Skins. They made him a center out of necessity and he wound up getting that big contract from the Jets. I think he's a guard and I would like to see what he could do if they just left him at right guard, which seems like his natural position. I am also one of the few that actually like Wyatt Teller. I think that if we sign Spain, Teller basically enters a three way competition at right guard with Long and Feliciano. I think Teller has upside and I think he would go in the second or third round in this draft. Most of his college experience was at left guard I believe. Guys like he and Dawkins are converted defensive linemen and so there is some rawness to their game. But there is also an element of nastiness there. Spain, Long, Feliciano, Teller all have some nastiness to their game. Ike Boettger has some of that as well.
  18. Okay yeah it looks like he earned a tryout at rookie minicamp here in 2017. Then the DOD changed the rules or something.
  19. I thought he spent some OTAs time with us or something
  20. I'm good with this. I wanted the team to sign a cheap guy like Eric Tomlinson, who is a 6-6, 265 lbs tight end who re-signed with the Jets after they non tendered him. Fisher is a much better athlete, bigger, and has bigger upside for sure. Daboll did some fun stuff last year with unbalanced formations, so having a guy like this can add to the variety. Let's see what happens. I still think they should look into Maxx Williams and roll with 4 tight ends like the Ravens. I also do do not think this keeps them from drafting a guy high. Both Fisher and Croom are longshot projects who are on the opposite sides of styles.
  21. Well he certainly likes to tackle!
  22. I think they move around the board a lot. 10 picks are not making this team. I would love a trade up to get Bosa, as long as I don't have to give up 2020 picks.
  23. I like Long a lot as a bounce back guy at guard. Feliciano is interesting, but Spain is better than both.
