  1. You know the Pats are going to take a tight end. Probably the one we wanted.
  2. Its so true. It understandable that he would get mad when they took his coat.
  3. Its very Bush league. It's what high school coaches do when they have no size, they stick a small guy at nose to see if he can be quick and get in the backfield. It's lame.
  4. Rams needed a safety to replace Lamarcus Joyner
  5. Adderly is really good. Great guy to work in that Gus Bradley secondary. Very legion of boomish.
  6. I mean if you can get Metcalf at 74 it would be insane. I'm think Knox or Ferguson
  7. A lot of pressure there. I'm not sure. I think it's either: Dawkins-Spain-Morse-Ford-Nsehke or Dawkins-Spain-Morse-Long-Ford with Nsehke as the swing guy and Feliciano as the interior backup. I hope Ford is a right tackle, but I think he will be really good in either spot. Similar to Dawkins, even though he is a bit shorter, he has long arms (longer than Dillard and Williams) so I think he would be fine at RT and I think that you have to try him there before moving him in. I think Spencer Long will surprise some people at RG but I feel like I am in the minority there.
  8. Basically there are two different styles of run offense, zone based and gap-man based. Zone requires smaller, athletic linemen like Garrett Bradbury, Jason Kielce, Andy Levitre. They have to be able to movend get to adjacent linemen and cover space. Power gap schemes involve a lot of downblcoks and double teams and things of that nature. Big, slower linemen who can destroy the inside gap. Picture what we saw with Greg Roman a few years ago. Th Patriots ran power plays all the way to the super bowl and the Colts decimated our run defense doing the same. As defenses continue to get smaller players to play the pass it makes sense to draft massive linemen and smash the small players. I like the approach.
  9. Best part about this is that it proves we are going to a gap power scheme which makes me really happy.
  10. Josh Allen is the offensive weapon. Everyone else is complimentary.
  11. I like Risner better, but I do like Fords nastiness. He's the anti Dillard, which I'm good with. Our offensive line is very big.
  12. Everyone was afraid of the Rosen-NE match. Chad O'Shea is the offensive coordinator there in Miami and he's coming from NE. I don't think it's the worst fit in the world, I just think Miami should wait until next year and I do think a 2nd is too high. But whatever. I don't see it working out for them which is fine by me.
  13. I know everybody hates walter football, but Charlie did better than all the experts.
  14. They will not keep 8. They will definitely keep nine and maybe 10. They kept 9 last year and had ton of injuries and had to find street players like Jeremiah Sirles to make up for it. He started games for us and was our backup center after Bodine got hurt. This regime will not keep 8 because they are all about contingencies and they made a mistake by not being ready for line injuries last year. They won't make the same mistake twice. I don't worry about cuts going deep. If that happens, then that means we found better players, and that is a great thing. Your points on Fisher do make sense, but at 275 or whatever weight he is going to play at, he's not going to be able to play tackle anymore. IMO, they have one tight end on the roster who is a lock, and that is Tyler Kroft. I think that will be a very fluid position.
  15. You keep at least nine guys, probably ten. If I drafted Risner and Scharping my line would be Dawkins-Spain-Morse-Risner-Nsekhe Scharping-Waddle-Long-Feliciano Teller probably makes it as a 10th guy. I cut everyone else Vlad, Bodine, Boettger, McDermott etc.
  16. So 64 would work? I like the idea of 91. No ten would be for QBs, kickers, or WR...they changed the rules to make it more feasible, but he can't wear ten. He could wear 50-79 and 90-99
  17. I forgot about McGovern. I like him a lot too. I feel like McCoy may go before our pick. He's good value here.
  18. 90 after Shaq is traded?
  19. That guy should be Risner...100%. Though I will say that Spener Long has a lot of nasty in his gme.
  20. I think Risner or Taylor would be great. I do think Max Scharping is the best left tackle prospect left. I really like his game. I think he could play the right side too. Perfect world, Risner to plug in at RG and Scharping to push Dawkins and Nsehke and to take over either in 2020. Risner round 2, Scharping 3/4. Then there are guys like Nate Davis etc still on the board.
  21. I think he is channeling all the anger that he holds from how all of the Colts fans and media prognosticators crapped all over his son for years. Basically saying they know nothing.
  22. McDermott needs to stick to clapping and coaching DBs and forget about the metaphor life.
