  1. I for one really like Ike's potential. I think he will start to come into his own as the season wears on. Now that he is nearly years removed from the achilles injury that cost him teh rest of his college career, he will only get better. I agree with you that he will be in the starting lineup by the end of the season.
  2. Anything he offers you are getting from TJ Yeldon, but better. And Yeldon has shown that he really could probably play receiver in teh NFL. He's the change of pace you get imo. I think we are good carrying three backs, especially with the fact that Murph is out there on the street. If someone goes down, he's the guy to sign.
  3. The Wade thing was going to turn out this way no matter what. It's a free extra roster spot for a guy with a lot of ability who is not ready to play in the NFL yet. It makes no sense to not take advantage of that extra slot. I feel like no matter what he did in pre-season, this was the likely outcome.
  4. I betcha Belicheat swooped in and stole him
  5. Jack Fox from Rice and KC Johnny Townsend from Florida and the Raiders/Giants Colquitt of the Browns Ryan Allen of the Pats
  6. I'd go Sloter or Mike White for PS quarterback. I'm glad Williams is in. I like Easley and Sills, as well as Yarborough.
  7. I could see QB Mike White on the practice squad. I remember the regime scouting him hard a couple of years ago
  8. I do hope Easley and Sills make it here. Yarborough as well. I'm sure we will grab some corners and such as well.
  9. I think the Bills took Lacey from the Dolphins originally, so I guess full circle? Anyways a name out there that's fairly interesting is Jacob Hollister, former Pat and Hawk. Former Allen target at Wyoming. I know we have a bunch of tight ends, but he's a more of a Croom like tight end, weho showed promise in the Patriots system. And we we need a punter.
  10. Giants also released Johnny Townsend who would be a punter upgrade.
  11. They're the Dolphins, you know they are gonna F it up.
  12. Somebody mentioned Jack Fox punter off the Chiefs. I thought he was a draftable player, and I think he'd make for an upgrade.
  13. I like him. Good player, but I do think it's a bit of a surprise that he made it. I also really like the upside of Siran Neal.
  14. Probably McDermott, Marlowe, Neal, and Mo Alexander. Seems like those are surprises to some.
  15. It's crazy that they cut Vedvik after trading a 5th rounder for him like two weeks ago.
  16. Somebody mentioned Daniel Wise somewhere, I could see it. The regime seemed to really like him last draft.
  17. Not sure if Sills makes it, but I am really not against it. It's obvious how much they wanted him post draft and they want to develop him. We didn't see him do much in preseason, but he blocked well and looked to have ran some good routes. They clearly like him and the last WR on the roster probably does not dress on game day anyways. It's a redshirt, but maybe they see this as the only way they can keep him (similar to Ray Ray last year). They lost Proehl to waivers last year, I think they definitely lose Sills. JMO.
  18. Polite seems like a 3-4 OLB to me
  19. The Triple H strategy!
  20. The they are going to be a tough team to play. I think they will struggle to get to the quarterback, but I do think they will surprise a bit, and then implode.
  21. Jets a good fit. Good fit for Greg and the other crazies there.
  22. I'm curious to see what they do with Sills. I mean he looked ok at times but he's not quite ready yet. I'm not sure he makes it to the practice squad though. Do you keep him on the 53, as the last receiver on the roster isn't likely to dress on game day anyways? Tough roster crunch this year.
  23. As terrible as he is, there just aren't many good centers out there. I think it's become a much more important position over the years with the development of elite interior pass rushers and crazy exotic defenses that college centers just don't see very often.
