  1. You think he would beat out a guy like AJ Klein, or would it just be a depth thing?
  2. It is unfortunate but makes sense. That kind of morale kind of opposes family and process and all of the stuff.
  3. Has a connection to Matt Barkley obviously, so it could be a thing. If he came here, he could be a rotational player so he would not be as much of an injury risk.
  4. Ohhhh, nice fit! I like that! Even though I drafted Murray in the first, i was eyeing Davis-Gaither at the bottom of the round.
  5. Cool name though. Makes him sound like he's good.
  6. Taylor went pretty high in our mock draft, so looks like some people are plugged in!
  7. That’ why you need a toto washlet. No toilet paper required.
  8. I think this is mostly true, except for pass protection. Morse is probably the best pass protector of the bunch. The rest of these guys sometimes look awful if the get stuck in one on one situations in pass pro. That's where arm length and talent and things of that nature come to the forefront. Morse is great at that. He is not good at sticking his face in there and smashing guys in the run game. He is very strong, but he's not that kind of run blocker. I guess my point is that there are a bunch of different style of linemen on this team, and that could be good, but some of their skills are lacking in different areas. I am interested to see how the gel even more in year two.
  9. VERY likely a smokescreen. But I will say that Judge is taking some heat here in the NY media because he will not talk about Jones and has refused to even mention him by name. Like I said, very likely a smokescreen, but I could see them taking Herbert and trying to flip Daniel Jones. Maybe the Giants take Herbert and trade Jones to the Pats for Joe Thuney. There was some smoke that Belichick really liked Jones last year, and though Joe Judge comes from the Pats, maybe he isn't sold on the guy. Who knows? But with a regime change, I would not completely dismiss it, especially after the Cardinals Rosen-Murray thing. If other teams are doing it, the hive mind will likely follow suit.
  10. Eh, I still hate the Patriots the same amount. Meter not moved lol. I don’t like the stripes that suddenly and abruptly cut off out of nowhere. Looks like Ole Miss with Navy blue.
  11. Is it @CNYfan or @whatdrought on the clock? Front sheet says Broncos are up. @Virgil
  12. I know this question was not for me, but I will throw my 2 cents in. I really like Cole McDonald. To me, what makes him interesting is that he is athletic, has really good arm strength, and is really good at reading what defenses are doing as a result of the offense he played in at Hawai’i. He’d be a good guy to have in the room and what I really like is that he has enough swag and gamer qualities that he can come in and win a few football games. He would never have a deer in the headlights kind of thing. I don’t think he is an NFL starter, but I think he’s an interesting back up. He is also working with Jordan Palmer and Josh so there is a familiarity there.
  13. Hopkins actually reminds me a lot of Dustin Keller so it would be interesting to see him in a Jests jersey.
  14. Love this player. I picked him in draft 2.0. Baby honey badger!
  15. How would you guys compare Gipson to Lynn Bowden?
  16. There goes the TSW round three poll winner!
  17. Akers probably a steal at this point
  18. I don’t love PFF, especially their o-line grades, but do you have this year’s grades on hand as a comparison? And John Miller is one the worst offensive linemen I’ve ever had the displeasure to watch. Like Colin Brown level terrible.
  19. He does look a little bit slim. But he’s a finesse player. He’s always been more about finesse and intelligence, body positioning, great feet etc. He’s a former left tackle, and if his arms weren’t so short would probably be playing there now. But he’s plenty strong (36 reps) and excellent in pass pro. I tend to agree with Gunner here that he may have been keeping his head out of the double teams, whereas Feliciano is full go smashing with something to prove. Probably why he is so banged up this offseason. At the end of the day, I think these 5 stick together this year, but Morse’s contract is in essence a 2 year deal, and Feliciano is a free agent, so they could both be gone this offseason. I hope year two, Morse gets more comfortable and Feliciano earns an extension. I was literally typing my response and we both wrote finesse!
  20. I’m just quoting so she is on the page again. ????
  21. I was banging the table for Morse last March and was so ecstatic that we got him and still am. I think he is a top 10-15 center, but I’ve said it a couple of times, I was a little disappointed in his play. He looked a little soft at times. As you mentioned, when he went out a few plays and Feliciano and Long were at C and RG respectfully, we were smashing people in the run game. Now I’m in the camp, by myself pretty much, that the reason for that is that Long is better than Feliciano. Long has proven to be a pretty bad center, but I think he is a more talented guard than Feliciano. I will say that i’d rather have the five starters back than make any changes. All that said, Morse missed most of camp and I hope his second year in the system is better.
  22. I like that fit. I think Brooks is gonna be pretty good. Could have a Kiko type impact in Mike Pettine’s defense.
  23. One of the reasons I really like Kmet. We really have not invested in the position in terms of draft capital. To me, if he came out next year he would be a first round pick. He is very young and probably should have stayed in school a year, but I feel like he will be the next Kyle Rudolph type really good tight end. He just turned 21 and is a true junior. Sleepers I like are Dalton Keene and Josiah Deguara, but I also think the kid Trautman from Dayton is interesting. But if its me I’m taking Knet in the second round.
  24. Ok trade fell through. So with the 60th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the Baltimore Ravens select Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama. I know I should be pursuing weapons for Lamar Jackson, but the Ravens got upset by the Titans because the could not stop the run. We traded for Calais Campbell, signed Derek Wolfe, moved Brandon Williams back to nose, and we have since singed LB Jake Ryan and drafted LB Kenneth Murray. Add in Bradlee Anae as pass rusher and the front end of our defense is now fully re-loaded. Davis is a beast, 6-7, 312...just ridiculous size and power. He's inconsistent at times, but shows up in big games, so there is something special there. I don't think he has amazing instincts or pass rush ability, but he is going to be stout on the Ravens d line as a 5 tech. With the 6-8 Campbell and 6-7 Davis (Baker Mayfield may never get a pass off), plus the 340lbs Williams at the nose, the run defense should once again be stout and Murray will be kept clean to make sideline to sideline plays. Davis has some things to learn, but who better to learn from than a guy like Campbell with a similar body type? Super excited about building this Ravens defense back up. @MAJBobby and the Jests are on the clock. @Virgil
