Adams makes a ton of sense as an upside add. He’s got length, has had injury issues, but this is the kind of guy you bring along in your weight training program. Very Connor McDermott-ish with more upside.

Good work! I think I might like the Epenesa pick than most becuase he is such a perfect fit scheme wise. And he seems like the kind of guy who will not bust. Probably a really solid base end for the next ten years. At the very least he has a Derek Wolfe type of career, maybe Aaron Smith formerly of the Steeers, but I think he has some more upside than that. Definitely happy with this draft.

He’s a early draft entrant which doesn’t happen too often for punters, so he is young and a little raw. Out kicks his coverage from time to time. His uncle was a pinter for 17 years and his dad was a long snapper. He’s been doing it his entire life. He obviously punted in the wind on the road, averaged 48 at Utah this year, and he started his career at Lafayette in Pennsylvania, so he’s done the wind thing, albeit Buffalo takes some adjustment for any punter. He is so much better than what we have here, so I hope it works out. Arizona State wasn’t all that good, so him flipping the field kept them in a lot of games. Probably find out today where he signs.

I think Sweeney would have gone in the 4th in this draft. I really liked Kmet and Trautman, but I think Knox is the real deal, again just a raw player who has to fix some drops. I still think it was a case of a guy trying to do too much. Kroft will be here and I truly hope they see the obvious that Tommy Sweeney belongs. He’s an ideal #2 and his skill set complements Knox really well.

Seems like they are trying to get some guys with some ball skills who can make contested catches between Diggs, Davis, and bow Hodgins. Again if we had a guy who could make those area code catches, we beat Houston without a problem. I like the emphasis.

In theory, with the extra roster spots this year, you could keep two kickers, kind of groom this guy if he’s not ready, but I’m guessing Hauschka is gone.
