  1. Its always tough when you have to choose between an end and a Cox. I’d take either.
  2. It reminds me more of Brandon Reilly, Andy Isabella, and Braxton Berrios threads. 🤷‍♂️
  3. I guess my place is that he isn’t asked to do what some of those others guys do. He is still pretty productive as compared to other slot guys no? He makes a lot less money than a lot of those guys on that list, and some of those guys are stars. I get you though. You can probably plug anybody in that spot and they would give the same ot more production with Josh in there. He has like zero YAC, but that has never been his game. I don’t care if we keep him or not, I don’t mind the number or production, but I do mind if he is being a giant douche behind the scenes.
  4. Right. I agree. I really don’t think he will kick the can much, I am just saying he can if he wants to to.
  5. He’s a DT no?
  6. You have to go all in in my opinion. Time to strike is now. If we only get 1 Super Bowl, I don’t care. Let’s get one.
  7. I agree that you don’t have to cut him. I doubt he finds a trade, but his cap hit is fine for what he offers. I doubt he agrees to anything, but the Bills don’t have to move him.
  8. 2 days ago the Saints were 35 million over the cap and now they are 5. And they didn’t cut anybody and re-sign Carl Granderson. I’m not saying Beane will go crazy with restructures etc, but they can do anything if they want.
  9. My list: Eddie Yarborough Bryan Cox Jr Lerentee McCray Efe Obada and message board legend Takkarist McKinley
  10. On the CMC thing, if Cooper costs what he did, and Mack costs what he did, what does CMC cost? I feel like expensive vets, aside from QBs, may not cost much in terms of trades. Whether you like CMC or not, if he can be had at a discount, why not?
  11. So now Jarvis Landry is avalable? WR musical chairs right before a loaded WR class.
  12. I guess I should re-word it worst case scenario. I will say Haack didn't seem terrible in the playoffs, but an upgrade is needed there. Fell under the radar. It was one of Joe Schoen's first moves when he also grabbed Antonio Williams.
  13. He signed with the Giants
  14. I don't think this is relevant. It is such a small guarantee, they will cut him eventually imo. He is the fall back plan in case they can't get their guy imo.
  15. I think they want to draft a punter. You can’t go into the draft with with nobody on the roster and people knowing you need a guy, so keeping Haack on the roster feels like a safety net and a bit of a smokescreen. Its a pay cut, essentially.
  16. One other thing is that the Broncos new DC guy is a 3-4 guy who worked under Wade Phillips, Raheem Morris, and Vic Fangio
  17. Yeah I agree with this. Here is what he said in the article: "To be completely honest, it's not about money at all," Jones said. "Where I am in my career, I've gotten contracts, I've gotten the Super Bowl, but I think scheme is huge. Or for me, winning more championships. I'll say it again, it's not about money. I will say I want to go to a place that maximizes my talents. There have been times in my career where I'd say I caught myself out of position. I do take the blame, but at the same time it's like, 'Hey, should I have been doing that?' I have enough comfort where I am in my career and this age to say that. Where does Chandler Jones become Chandler Jones? Where can he maximize his talent? I think there were a few times you saw it this season, where you were like, who is this guy? Week 1, five sacks ... so you see flashes of it, and I'm pretty sure there were times where people said, 'Why did it disappear, where is it going?' Not to put it on just the game plan -- I'm sure there were a lot of different things that goes into it. But again, going into free agency, what team maximizes Chandler Jones' talents?" To me that means he wants to play in a 4-3 and he just wants to pin his ears back and rush the passer. That implies that the team unleashed him week 1 and then asked him to do things like play coverage in subsequent weeks. I have always thought he was more of a 4-3 end but spent a lot of time in NE and Arizona in a 3-4. If you watch the highlights from that week 1 game, he has his hand in the ground rushing the passer. He is talking about being out of position and wondering why the team is asking him to do those things. He wants to rush the passer. We are a perfect fit. That’s my 2 cents.
  18. Yep. Cap can be worked. I wish that became a common sentiment.
  19. He was an excellent nose a few years ago. He's a two down run plugger. He's better than Star.
  20. I don't care as long as he is fast and can catch the football. Borghi did not run the 40 at the combine, so I am curious to see what he does at his pr day.
  21. Ok thanks. I don't read his work so I thought it was kind of strange. I do think there are a lot of good ideas on here, and that's why I am here.
  22. Seems like a lot of those ideas came from this board. We have touched on pretty much all of these guys at some point here. I brought up Taven Bryan and Austin Blythe a little while ago.
  23. There are a lot cap experts and with overreaction here, everything is doable. Dead cap and all that. Everything is doable. Is Beane going to put together some kick the can deals? I don't think he will go crazy, but he needs to consider it as this is our window. We need to win a Super Bowl. If we are in cap hell after, it doesn't matter. Yes I want multiple Super Bowls, but they need to make sure they get one. After that, everything else is gravy. Then you figure out everything else on the back end. What that means is that they are going to have to take on some cap risk if they want to truly win it all. Does that mean grabbing Bobby Wagner for a big deal? Trading for McCaffrey? Was it going after Mack?Is it going after DeMarcus Lawrence? OBJ? Is it giving a bunch of money to guys like Brandon Scherff, JC Jackson, Chandler Jones? I really don't know. I am not sure what the "move" is, but this team needs to add talent on both sides of the ball if they want to win it all and the time is now. Drafting 9 rookies and expecting them to put the team over the top with marginal free agent additions isn't going to cut it.
  24. Very interesting. This is an indication that they are looking for that waterbug change of pace back. I have been talking about Jerick McKinnon a lot. Borghi is that type of back who can catch the ball out of the backfield, can play receiver, and can take a check down to the house. I think that is what this offense is missing. I am interested in seeing what Borghi times in the 40. If he is a 4.4 guy I'm in. If not, it's meh. I don't know if Borghi is truly the guy, but this may be an indication they would pursue a McKinnon, James White, JD McKissic, Giovanni Bernard, Duke Johnson, or the apex of this type of player CMC.
