  1. Paradis took less but he has been awful and then tore his ACL. Even though we paid a bit more, we def got the right guy and it has totally worked out.
  2. Yeah I don’t love that. I think it is clear the team needs more speed. Just re-signing McKenzie doesn’t help. and replacing Sanders with Davis actually makes us slower. So yeah I kind of hate it. So I guess it depends on what they do in the draft. I prefer a DJ Chark type, bigger guy with speed to burn.
  3. His girl needs to put down the meth. And is that Evan Engram? I kid I kid. Just bumpin
  4. That McKenzie number actually bothers me more than 9 million of Engram. 🤷‍♂️
  5. With the McKenzie signing, an Engram signing actually makes more sense. It could be like a slot job share between the two. Engram can play outside too. Is McKenzie at 4 mil plus Engram at 9 million better than Kirk at 15? I don’t know. But I like Engram, who like McKenzie ran a 4.42 at 6-3, 240. I really have no problem adding him, but I would be upset if it keeps us from signing Knox long term.
  6. They also stand to lose some key guys on their defense, so it seems to be heavy lifting, unless guys take discounts to go play with him.
  7. Well when Kirk Cousins makes like 40 million, it makes sense to come back. But no Ali Marpet and Jensen and Cappa are free agents. And Donovan Smith still blows.
  8. I hear ya. But its a projection, and you can get a guy in the draft for a lot cheaper if you are willing to project. He doesn’t move the needle for me. I am excited to see what else they do.
  9. He is nowhere close to Hill. McKenzie and his 4.42 speed at his size is really not a big deal. Beasley ran a 4.49. He is shifty, but McKenzie ain’t anywhere close to Hill. I think he has a role, but he isn’t a game breaker. I think this is an overpay.
  10. I’d go Eddie Goldman, Akiem Hicks, or Jarran Reed as run stoppers. I also like Taven Bryan, but he’d be a rotational piece similar in style to Ed Oliver.
  11. Probably in the next tier, but Austin Corbett makes a lot of sense
  12. Slight overpay, but good to secure the guy if they are getting an idea of the prices out there. Never loved his game, but I’m good with it.
  13. I am glad they met with Smith and Andersen. Leo Chenal is a good one too. He’s a thumper, so I think a lot of people are surprised he tested this well. Definitely the more polished linebacker. Brandon Smith is my draft crush, but I would be good with Anderesen, Chanel, or Chad Muma. I like the Georgia guys too.
  14. Dude can ball. If he gets paired up with a bad QB it will be a huge letdown. Its a slight overpay in a league where Nelson Agohlor and Corey Davis make 12 million.
  15. I think they really tried to make the Ike Boettger thing work. I think when they waived him and KC grabbed him it made this regime think that Ike was like a shiny thing. And I think he played alright, but his presence is kind of why Teller was let go. So they really tried to force things there imo. I like Ike, but I like Bates more. Feliciano was a B. Johnson guy and Ford was a #2 pick. Right now Teller and Bates should be our starting guards but it is what it is. Bates’ versatility kind of hurt him in a weird way. It kept him on the roster as a swiss army knife, but kept him off the field because if he is a starter, he has to focus on one position.
  16. Barkley is a bell cow. You have to feed him carries to really get the most out of him. While he is better than CMC, I don’t think he gives you the same sort of flexibility. I would love to have him, but if you get him, you have to feed him.
  17. I think they did have to overpay for Morse. There were multiple teams in on centers that year, with Paradis being the other guy, and you had to convince him to leave KC. Morse also gave Allen a level of stability that I think really helped the QB develop. Pairing a young QB with a ***** center is one of those things that is overlooked, but can be pretty significant.
  18. I like the combo of Singletary and CMC better. You can even play those two guys together, since McCaffrey is such a good receiver. And they complement Allen well. If you get Barkley, he becomes the focal point of the offense, and I do not want to see that. Everything we do should run through Josh.
  19. I just don’t want us to have to feed Barkley 30 carries a game.
  20. Yeah i think at a low cost you must consider a CMC or a Barkley. Personally I prefer CMC to his prowess in the passing game etc so I feel like he is a better fit. But Barkley is the better player. This is Allen’s offense, so the running game needs to compliment and not overtake.
  21. Yeah that Cheifs game really bothered me. For the most part I have been a Tremaine supporter, that game definitely started to move the needle the other way. But at the same time its Mahomes. Brady also attacked him. Outside of those guys, the goat and the current goat, guys really haven’t been able to attack the middle of the field against Edmunds. Wilson was so good in that game, it was almost unbelievable. I still think the Chiefs blew their, you know, the week before against the Bills and had nothing left. That said, Wilson was awesome in that game. Warner should have been a Bill. They loved him pre draft and I was convinced they would draft him in 2018.
  22. I run hot and cold for Tremaine. I love the athleticism, youth, length etc. I hate his run fits. But to your point, teams have to do some really clever stuff over the middle of the field to attack him. And while it seems like he is getting toasted on some of those plays, there are other linebackers who would be nowhere near the play. Like at all. So in our minds its like “look Tremaine, you are right there, 1 step behind, what the hell are you doing?” At the same time, some other linebackers in the league aren’t even in the frame so it does not seem like it is “their fault.” He is always around the play, and around plays that other guys wouldn’t be near, and that is why he always look like he is half a step late on things. Thats my opinion. I don’t know how the front office really feels about him but I trust them. They won’t re-sign him if they really feel there are flaws in his game. Now I absolutely love Brandon Smith from Penn State. Very similar measurables to Maine. He is shorter, so a bit thicker, but actually has a longer wingspan and is a freak as well, with better instincts playing downhill. If we are looking for a replacement, he should be the guy. Nothing wring with taking another swing at this type of player.
  23. Chubb for Edmunds made a ton of sense in my mind, trading 5th year options for eachother. Be dope if we could get Cox and Chubb.🙃
  24. I mean we have done it every year for like the last few decades. Why change now?
